26/08/2025: The best pastry shop and café in Casalecchio and Bologna. The owner, Federico, is attentive and meticulous, professional, and highly qualified. The coffee and cappuccino are spectacular, and the brioches are huge and full of cream. Giovanna is incredibly sweet and kind. They deserve an Oscar!!! Go there, you'll be happy.

26/07/2025: Nice café and pastry shop, a bit of a line at the register, but it was peak time. The service is good because they serve you at your table, which isn't always the case; the croissants are good, and the latte macchiato and cappuccino are also good. Prices are average.

27/09/2025: I had the burger and potatoes. The burger tasted homemade and had while nuts in it. My wife had the Buddha bowl and really enjoyed it

20/09/2025: Top rated restaurant in Bologna had indeed exceeded the expectations. I had the Budda Bowl and a smoothie, but having seen other peoples plates, I wish I had more room to taste other plates. The bowl was all made in the house with fresh organic ingredients. Super delicious was the sesame sauce on top. The ambiance was very cosy and friendly. It is indeed a gem that needs foodies attention.

11/09/2025: Finally, an ice cream shop that doesn't use lactose. It's the only ice cream that doesn't harm me and it's really good! The home delivery service is great!!

07/10/2025: Delicious! Breakfasts, lunches, and aperitifs are the best in the area! Garani has become the go-to place for pastry shops in the Castel Maggiore, Funo, Argelato, and surrounding areas. I ordered a birthday cake on Sunday, and it was exactly what I asked for—delicious!

02/10/2025: I went for breakfast this morning, ordering a slice of pizza with toppings and a croissant. Super-stocked counters with a wide selection of sweet and savory options. 14/08/2025: A very quiet and simple place, the owner's friendliness and hospitality are spectacular! You can eat indoors, on the veranda, or outside... Very good and plentiful food. Excellent value.

20/07/2025: I'm sorry to have to give this place only a one-star review, but above all, it leaves a bitter taste in my mouth for the way the owner treated me and my partner. Today around 1 pm, we went to the restaurant without a reservation and were greeted and seated immediately by the owner, who then started chatting with the couple sitting behind us. The waiter then asked us what we wanted to drink, brought it to us, and waited for the owner (still busy chatting) to come (as with all the other tables) to take our orders. After a 10-minute wait and several glances at the owner, I called the guy who, mortified, took our order. While waiting, he noticed that all the tables had bread baskets (always the owner's job) and we didn't. So, I asked the ever-kind waiter for bread, he went to the kitchen and came back saying they were preparing it. Two minutes later, the owner came out with the basket and, completely ignoring us, brought the second basket to another couple! I'm shocked, a minute passes, the dishes arrive, and finally the owner realizes that we're the only ones (even the tables after us had it) without bread. He looks at us, and I try to tell him, "Yes, I complained to..." but he doesn't even let me finish and replies, "Yes, YOU'RE right." And he leaves, sending the waiter with the bread. The food (mixed seafood appetizer), perhaps due to the lack of summer customers, was unfortunately terrible. The scallops and mussels were tasteless, the octopus and potatoes WITH ROSE SAUCE was stale, the bread was dry, the seafood salad was industrial, and the carpaccio was stale and falling apart! Except for the fried food, which was well executed, but unfortunately the ingredients were terrible. The cordonetti with scallops, zucchini, and saffron were acceptable, but the pasta isn't homemade, and the shrimp were poor quality. For €18 worth of pasta, the scallops weren't enough. What bothered me most, however, was the owner's total lack of professionalism, which made my companion and I feel very uncomfortable. Even when we received the bill, we weren't asked how we enjoyed our meal, nor were we thanked. What a disappointment! Needless to say, this place has been crossed off our list of restaurants to visit every now and then.

07/10/2025: A historic restaurant revitalized by a true Bolognese that celebrates tradition. On a random lunchtime, I rediscovered the authentic Bologna of this area by savoring a rich and well-prepared menu: tortellini, truffled eggs, fried mushrooms, and crescentine. In short, impeccable. Keep it up.

30/09/2025: Good morning, I'm writing to tell you what happened to me on Saturday evening, September 27, 2025. I had booked a table for four people online at 9:00 PM at this restaurant. They directed me to The Fork. They sent me a confirmation email. Unfortunately, when I arrived on Saturday evening, the restaurant was closed for vacation. You can't treat customers like this. 13/03/2025: Convenient bar from the university, but new bartender with cognitive problems, never understands the request and even responds badly, doesn't even apologize. (We go there every day)
