07/03/2025: What a great experience! Warm, very family-friendly welcome. Nono's visit was truly touching. And the dishes are so typical, very different from what you can find in the city center. Really delicious: the beef and artichoke carpaccio: killer 😉

05/06/2025: The best Italian pizza! - just as it should be! Not greasy, well-topped, a great crust, simply perfect from the stone oven. We've been coming here for years, and both the service and the food are always excellent! Desserts like the crème Catalana are impressive with fresh vanilla bean. Even the frutti di mare (mussels and fish) was excellent. We really have nothing to complain about. Exceptional value for money! We'll be back. :)

30/06/2025: A lovely spot tucked away in the streets near the city center. Refined cuisine, recommended for the sea bass tartare, butarga di mugine, and tagliata di Aungus. Excellent wine. Perfect service. Very welcoming owner. Bravo!!!!

25/06/2025: It was our first time at La Borbonica today, so we got 6 pastry samples to go. Among them were a baba au rhum, a chocolate éclair, a Lulù, a pistachio puff, an opéra and a cream cannoli. My favorite was the baba au rhum, it was moist and the alcohol flavour wasn’t overpowering nor bitter. For reference I usually don’t like baba au rhum. The cannoli was good although the cream was grainy and had a strange aftertaste. The shell was nicely done. I really liked the éclair, the Lulù and the pistachio puff. No complaints about those. The opéra didn’t taste like a regular French opéra (if you are familiar with French patisserie). Not much of a coffee flavour if you ask me, it had a hint of alcohol strangely. It was also heavily coated in chocolate glaze, unlike the classic French pastry. We were very pleased with the price. All six pastries costed around €12. We didn’t need to overcommit to one of them since they were all available in small sample sizes of around €1.60 each. Overall I’d recommend. We found that these pastries are not as refined as French pastries, but these are very decent options in Bologna!

15/06/2025: Delicious pizzas and friendly service that does everything to make you feel at home. It was still early so we could easily find a table, within ten minutes the pizzas were on the table. Take-away is also possible. Recommended!

16/04/2025: We have been customers for years and love both the staff and their pizzas. They have special pizzas every month, quality ingredients, and alternative flours. All delicious even when delivered to your home. They are always kind, smiling and welcoming, with special attention for our children, who adore them. If you eat pizza there, there's always conversation and you feel like family. Thank you very much dear ones!

09/06/2025: We went for lunch at 1:20 pm, they sat us down and we waited until 2:45 pm before we could receive what we ordered. The tortellino alla panna was good while the 3 portions of crescentine and tigelle were decidedly poor with very very thickly sliced ​​cold cuts! Even though we got up and left a good part of it on the table, when it came to the bill, we were not even asked why. We definitely won't be back

26/06/2025: Medium-high prices but a very nice location and instagrammable dishes as well as quality. The veranda is also beautiful, too bad about the difficulty in finding parking in the area. I recommend especially for brunch.

21/06/2025: Too bad for a nice little place in the province of Bologna. It can happen that a waiter (even if he's not inexperienced! You have to teach them, dear owner or manager, she didn't make any mistakes, but you did!) spills 3 spritz on you, but I would have expected a quicker reaction at least to dry ourselves and that, for the mix-up, the new 3 spritz were offered. Instead, no, the bill down to the last drop!! A gesture at the cashier would have been enough to turn the page and instead nothing. You've lost a potential customer.

23/05/2025: Unbeatable value for money. An excellent "bazza" spot (also in a strategic position) for a quality lunch break at very honest prices. In fact, they always have a queue. Quality house wine. It's a shame I only discovered it recently.
