Very good, home-cooked food of excellent quality. Generous portions and excellent value. The service is very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making you feel right at home, although there are some improvements to be made. It offers a beautiful view of Bologna and the surrounding hills. Highly recommended for tourists who want to eat a lot, well, in a place that feels like home, far from the hustle and bustle of the city center.

Unfortunately, the heat doesn't help, but the good food makes up for it all. The rustic atmosphere (and its strength), the breathtaking panoramic view (splendid), the super-prepared and very kind staff, and the food is beyond words—you have to try it. Found it by chance, but bookmarked it, you can't help but come back. Thank you so much 🥰

It has rustic outdoor tables. The basic menu includes crescentine and tigelle with cold cuts, cheeses, pickles, and friggione. A few first courses and desserts. A pleasant way to spend a summer evening dining al fresco.

A small, rustic osteria nestled in the green hills of Bologna, with ample parking, about 20-25 minutes from Bologna. Friendly and helpful staff. The menu is explained verbally. Traditional Bolognese dishes are tasty and hearty, but not overwhelming. Prices are average.

Osteria del Nonno, located in the hills outside Bologna, is a great option for those who want to eat well and enjoy a bit of tranquility.
I celebrated my birthday there on May 9th. They have a set menu that includes two pasta dishes, tigelle and crescentine with cured meats and cheeses, and a drink with a cover charge, all for €35.
Adding their desserts costs €38.
Overall, everything was good, the staff were welcoming, and the location was beautiful!
Highly recommended!
