30/08/2025: We had a very unpleasant experience here. An Italian man took a photo of one of our female friends without her permission and even sent it to a group chat. We confronted him immediately and made sure he deleted the picture and the message, even though he was there with his wife and children. What shocked us even more was that the staff did absolutely nothing when we informed them. They showed no reaction and took no responsibility. Because of this, we decided to leave the place — and honestly, who would want to stay in such an environment? I cannot recommend this place, especially for women.

30/08/2025: We had an awful incident on the beach with another customer and none of the staff stood on our side or did anything for us. We saw when a middle aged man infront of us took a photo with the selfiecamera. My friend (a woman in a bikini) was in the photo behind him. The man then zoomed on my friend and cropped the photo so that she only showed in the photo. Then he proceeded to send the photo to a groupchat in whatsapp, where there were many other sexually offending photos… We saw this and went to the man to tell him that he should delete the photo immediately. He was defensive and wouldn’t show the photo to us or delete it. Even the man’s wife started to yell us angrily in italian… Then we went to the beach staff with the man and told the staff what had happened. We forced one staff member to look at the taken photo when the man finally agreed to show it. When the staffmember (another older man) saw the photo, he just said ”that is just a funny joke”. We were absolutely shocked and frustrated about the comment. Then the staff just said, ”it’s not our responsibility” and did nothing. They just offered water for my friend (the one who was in the photo in her bikini) and told her to calm down… Absolutely unbeliavable. We managed to force the man to delete the photo. After that we just left and the staff said nothing. The man was allowed to stay on the beach with his family like nothing happened…

19/11/2025: I was with friends, we stopped in for dinner, and ordered pork and salad. The portion was very small, three small pieces with sauce, not quite soft. The salad was large and would have been enough for two people. The bread was stale and not fresh. They tried to give me a check for something I didn't order. Then they sorted it out and recalculated everything. I wouldn't go there again. I don't recommend it.

20/10/2025: Great restaurant with a small number of tables, which makes the experience very pleasant. Very tasty food.

28/12/2025: Had pizza for dinner. Excellent, light pizza. Fair prices.

13/12/2025: All the food was delicious but the pizza was even better.

23/01/2026: The place is very pleasant. The covered terraces, perfect for keeping warm during the winter, offer stunning views of the city and the surrounding mountains. The food is remarkably good, arriving quickly and piping hot, made with high-quality local ingredients that allow you to experience authentic Campanian cuisine. International dishes are available for children. The service is excellent. The food is a bit pricey, but that's to be expected in a restaurant located next to such a popular tourist attraction.

25/10/2025: Mediocre but serviceable food. Grab a bite before seeing Pompeii, nothing much else to say.

18/09/2025: We popped in here for something to eat and drink and are very glad we did. Christiano cooked an awesome steak just as we liked it. Mine medium rare and the Mrs's medium well done. The salad was lush the fries amazing well done guys 👌 😋 👏 Not sure the Mrs was struck on the lemoncello. But she doesn't normally drink alcohol 😉

07/02/2026: Excellent sandwich with perfectly cooked chicken, potatoes, and provola cheese. Good beer, fair prices (€10 sandwich + €4 beer). For two, we spent €24. This place on Via Petrarca is highly recommended!

13/01/2026: Unacceptable order. This time I ordered a turkey leg, which cost €15, and it arrived raw on the inside. The problem wasn't visible from the outside because the skin completely covered the meat, which is why I took a bite without realizing it, seriously risking illness. I decided to give the restaurant one last chance, even though I'd received undercooked white meat in the past. I tried calling the restaurant twice to let them know, but the number was unavailable. The situation is extremely serious: chicken and turkey are extremely dangerous if not cooked properly. The potatoes were also heavy and difficult to digest. Total lack of attention to food safety. A terrible experience. The photo isn't even very clear, but when I peeled the meat off the bone, the blood-red veins were still visible.

03/12/2025: Today I bought a kilo of taralli from "Leopoldo" in Piazza degli Artisti, I politely asked if they had been made that day since I had to take them to Padua for my son, I threw them away because they were disgusting

08/10/2025: Great experience at Da Luigi’s- perfect way to spend a day in the sun! The staff is so friendly and the zucchini pasta was one of the best pasta dishes I’ve ever had.

31/10/2025: Came here 2 nights out of 3 in town as Carprese salad was best ive had. Calamari was top notch and both pasta dishes fantastic. The tagliolini was home made noodles.

08/12/2025: We were really disappointed, we were with friends, certainly with 25 euros you don't expect much, very poor appetizers, three octopus tentacles in the salad, clams that were full of sand, the first courses all in all decent, but you could tell that they were very arranged dishes in the preparation, a second course that was funny just looking at it, three calamari rings with a shrimp on the plate, for them this would have been fried fish..... the only positive note was the boy at the piano bar who had a really beautiful voice. As for the rest I'm sorry but we're not there, there are places that offer abundant menus for the same price. We will definitely not return.

30/01/2026: Pizzas with poorly leavened dough... managers who allow unruly children to have parties in the dining room... they forget ordered pizzas and bring two pizzas at a time... an experience not to be had.
