05/07/2026: Obviously they are after one-time customers, as they are located near the Herculanum entrance. They are not even attemptig to cater to customers. The prices are inflated due to the location. The food is not very good i.e. the Caprese salad was primarily rucolla, almost no tomatos or mozarella. WE asked for cold still water, got warm sparklong.

06/06/2026: Excellent service, homemade food prepared by the owner herself! Without a doubt, the best carbonara we tasted in Italy… exquisite pizza, a small, delicious place!

06/09/2025: Very close to the church, it offers delicious gelato sundaes and an excellent cinnamon cappuccino. The staff is friendly and attentive. If you want to enjoy a delicious gelato while sitting down, near the sea, this is the place to be.

12/06/2026: It's catastrophic. As soon as we arrive, they make us pay for the boat shuttle, the sun loungers, the umbrellas, everything, before we've even sat down at the table. The restaurant is decent and the service is pleasant, but the management only cares about money. The sun loungers aren't worth the asking price, and the man at the entrance is rude: you have to prove you've paid by any means necessary, otherwise he'll block everyone. In short, there are too many beautiful places here to choose to go there.

06/06/2026: I am writing this review to express my deep disappointment regarding the way this beach is managed. While the sea in Capri is undeniably beautiful and should be accessible to everyone, my experience here was frustrating, to say the least. The only "free" beach nearby is essentially an inaccessible pile of rocks, making it dangerous and practically impossible to enjoy. Meanwhile, the only usable area is controlled by this establishment, which demands a ridiculous €55 fee just to access the water. It is completely unacceptable to restrict public access to the sea in this way. I understand charging for sunbeds or amenities, but making people pay such an exorbitant amount just to step on the beach and swim in the Mediterranean is unethical and goes against the principle that the sea is a public good. I felt cheated and unwelcome. I would strongly advise anyone looking for a fair and accessible experience to look elsewhere. Avoid this place if you value your rights and your money.

19/05/2026: Excellent venue. Elegant and clean. The waiters welcomed us immediately and gave us the à la carte menu. I was happy they separated the smoking and non-smoking areas. There's also an outdoor seating area, but I recommend it in spring/summer. The service was remarkably fast. We had an aperitif and some appetizers. Even though it's located at a crossroads, the noise isn't bothersome; in fact, it's barely noticeable. The desserts are delicious. They have private parking for €1 with no time restrictions. However, it's not mandatory. You can also park on the street. I recommend the private parking; it's worth it. The only thing... save your euro for parking because they don't give change. You pay on the way out. Overall, I recommend it for an evening with friends or to escape the daily grind.

10/06/2026: I recently returned from a wonderful day at the beach. It's not the first time I've chosen the Cuccurullo beach, and every time it never disappoints. The beach is clean and uncrowded, making it relaxing and enjoyable. The sea is clear, and the staff is humble, polite, and always friendly. I highly recommend it 😃

05/01/2026: We stopped here the first time because we wanted a real Neapolitan Cuzzetiello... and we went back the next day because we couldn't resist that deliciousness. The food was truly delicious and very filling, the service was fast, and the staff was helpful.

27/02/2026: We stayed 3 nights at this property and I have to say we had a great time! Having read the reviews, I was worried I'd find a terrible place to stay, but the room was nice and renovated, equipped with everything we needed (even a kitchen, which we didn't use), and in a great, quiet location! We followed the recommendations for dinner and were very happy with it! So, Amedeo Square was a great choice!

23/02/2026: Unfortunately, I didn't get the room shown in the photos for three people—none of them were of the same or similar standard. I wasn't even informed of the owner's change of mind, which meant I'd be getting a room, a small unit on the ground floor. I had no choice but to agree to a lower price because the owner informed me on the spot when he first arrived. He said renovations were underway, but we secured a room well over six months in advance. Strangely, other travelers were put next door. We were given a room for three people: one couch and one fairly large double bed. The room had mold on the shower tray and window, and no ventilation. There was a refrigerator, air conditioning, hot water, a small kettle, two glasses of approximately 150 ml each, and no spoon or other cutlery. Mini soap, shower gels, and shampoos were available, room cleaning, a coffee maker, clean towels, clean bedding, and comfortable spring mattresses. Thanks to this, we took advantage of the "discount" on canceling our booking on Booking. For four days, it wasn't worth the hassle, but you can see the mentality and attitude – when you confront someone, they'll take a discount. I have a feeling this won't be the last time this happens, and the procedure seems commonplace based on the entries below, which aren't on Booking.com because the man asked for the reservation to be canceled. Fill in the rest. The only thing is that everything you need in Naples is close by. There's a café next door, a mini-shop where a nice man and his Polish wife sell their goods, and a mini-market nearby. The metro, which is currently closed until May 2026, is probably worth checking the information, and there's a taxi rank by the square.

03/01/2026: Review for the takeout spot. The girl at the cash register almost ignores us. The quality-price ratio isn't the best; I expected at least more broccoli rabe in the calzone, which had just a little in the center. They don't give you a napkin to wipe yourself down, and above all, the tables outside are littered with garbage.

13/05/2026: I arrived at this pastry shop in the heart of the Spanish Quarter with my partner during snack time, and I must say it was a very pleasant discovery. We enjoyed simple babà and fruit tarts... all topped off with the owner's exemplary friendliness and professionalism. I hope to return soon!

16/03/2026: La Canzone del Mare at Marina Piccola is the classic Capri beach club lunch experience and it has been since Gracie Fields founded it in the 1930s. The terraces step down to the water with the Faraglioni rocks framing the view and the combination of that setting, fresh seafood, and cold white wine on a summer afternoon is one of the great pleasures available to anyone with the good fortune to be on this island. The food is Caprese at its honest best — fresh pasta, grilled fish from the morning catch, insalata caprese with tomatoes that actually taste like tomatoes. The anchovies, the calamari, the linguine alle vongole — all done correctly and served with the unhurried ease of a place that knows you are not in a rush because nobody with a view like this should ever be in a rush. Come by boat if you can, order the seafood, drink the local wine, and stay as long as possible. La Canzone del Mare is the soul of Capri in a single afternoon.

14/06/2026: I just had a pizza here and I'm absolutely thrilled. The dough was exactly how it should be: **super light and fluffy** and baked to perfection. It wasn't heavy at all, but simply tasted fresh and incredibly delicious. If you're craving a really good, fluffy pizza, this is the place to go. I'll definitely be back! 🍕✨

04/06/2026: A hidden gem in Pompeii! Besides pizza, I highly recommend the traditional Neapolitan "Per e Muss" (lemon and salt seasoned mixed tripe). Fresh, flavorful, and surprisingly delicious. 20/10/2025: everything was fine until we sat down, the waiters were totally unpleasant and inappropriate, he smokes in front of the customers and explicitly says that he eats the day before's food in the kitchen which he then offers to the customers, if you order a wine they bring you an anonymous glass with no traceability and a vast menu only on paper but in reality they have nothing

28/09/2025: We stopped by for two simple drinks, which elsewhere we would have paid €6 (with a smile included), but here they were "kindly" offered at €10 each. The cocktails were watered down, full of ice, and practically tasteless. The two people behind the bar? Let's just say they're not good at welcoming people: rude and apathetic, served with more generosity than the contents of the glasses. There are other places in the area that are definitely worth it, but this isn't one of them!
