We were passing through L'Aquila for work and stopped for a quick lunch in the ancient Roman style. A welcoming place, the traditional menu offers many interesting options. We chose the arrosticini, delicious and perfectly cooked... We'll return later to try the other dishes on the menu... The staff were friendly and professional...

Ristorante Pizzeria Angizia

12/11/2025: Last Saturday we had lunch at Ristorante Pizzeria Angizia to celebrate our aunt's 90th birthday. I hadn't been there in years, and I was delighted to try their dishes. The atmosphere is very pleasant and familiar, and the staff is kind and helpful. The appetizer was very good, made with top-quality ingredients and, above all, plentiful. The homemade fettuccine with porcini mushrooms was equally delicious. For our main course, we had a very tender veal roast beef with Genovese sauce, truly delicious, accompanied by delicious baked potatoes and a salad. To finish, a traditional dessert with cream, also delicate. We had a very pleasant day, and I hope to return to try the pizzas, which I've been told are absolutely excellent and worth a try.
