01/09/2024: We stumbled upon it by chance after a bike trip, the owner was very kind and brought two tables closer for us to eat... Since we waited 15 minutes he made us eat some delicious porcini mushrooms... very good starter, generous first courses, I recommend it

31/08/2024: Ogni volta che vengo ad Ovindoli è d'obbligo una tappa in questo ristorante fantastico.....si mangia divinamente tutto, dall' antipasto al dolce.... il servizio è top,veloci gentilissimi e sempre molto disponibili...decisamente da dieci e lode super consigliato 👍🏽

Base primi,la proverbiale pasta fresca che sa solo di pasta senza sentori. Costo su qualità ottimo. Locale piacevole proposta di stile green. Parcheggio nei pressi.

21/07/2024: Ho visitato oggi questo ristorante offre il parcheggio da fuori non rende giustizia all’interno molto carino personale cordiale cortese antipasti molto buoni ho assaggiato la focaccia alla mozzarella e tartufo e prosciutto e le Frisell al pomodoro e burrata un ottimo vino rosso ghiacciato peccato che non ho potuto assaggiare la cacio e pepe ci tornerò un’altra volta

04/08/2024: Sabatino Ristorante is a family-run restaurant that offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Although the service is quite slow, the staff is always very courteous. The starters of local cured meats and cheeses are delicious, while the first courses are excellent, particularly the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms and truffles. The mixed meat is tender and full of flavour, truly exceptional. The skinny fries are the best I've ever tasted. The desserts are also fabulous, with the fig and walnut tart being particularly tempting. Recommended for those looking for authentic and tasty cuisine.

03/08/2024: Terrible experience...... An hour and a quarter of waiting for having nothing at the table except bread, wine and water.... After a long wait, (in the meantime it was 10.15pm) I got up and went to the entrance to the kitchen and only then did they take the shank I had ordered out of the fridge... very politely I asked to block everything and get the bill for what they had brought to the table. But nothing like that either. ABSURD...... In the end, given the time, we returned to the hotel without food. Dear Mr Sabatino, if you are not capable of serving the tables you have, halve the number, you will earn less but you will make us look better.

22/07/2024: Siamo capitati per caso in questo posto con mio marito e una coppia di amici più la bambina. Penso sia stato il caso più bello Che potesse capitarti ! Abbiamo preso 1 tagliere di salumi , formaggi , bruschette e ci abbiamo mangiato in 4 ( abbondantissimo ragazzi ) poi abbiamo preso Due primi diversi uno più buono dell’altro e per finire i secondi , guancia morbidissima, stinco di agnello sublime , carrè eccezionale tutto accompagnato da verdurine! Eccezionali anche i dolci ! Prezzi ottimi , servizio eccellente . Bravi

19/06/2024: Primi piatti serviti freddi, carne immangiabile che aveva un cattivo odore, molto probabilmente andata a male… frutta servita calda, ho chiesto più volte un piatto per avere un po’ d’insalata e non mi è mai arrivato… purtroppo non ho fatto foto! Cosa peggiore abbiamo ordinato e pagato una torta per 30 persone e si sono presentati con una torta piccolissima neanche per 10 persone facendomi fare una figuraccia con tutti gli invitati, ed hanno dato colpa anche alla pasticceria, hanno cercato di fare i furbi ma hanno sbagliato persona… Cambiate mestiere che questo non fa per voi…

01/05/2024: Locale molto bello, curato, sicuramente l’impatto appaga la vista, il giardino fuori meraviglioso nelle giornate di sole, con vista su Pacentro. Ma veniamo al menu: pochi piatti, ben studiati, ottima scelta di vino. Abbiamo preso: Antipasti: Polpette Cacio e Ova da dividere, non eccelse, erano un po’ gommose e poco spugnose, come invece dovrebbero, su parere di tutti e quattro i commensali, tutti abruzzesi. Primi: Chitarra al ragù, ravioli allo zafferano con ripieno di carne, risotto ai carciofi e tortelli. Porzioni abbondantissime, e nel complesso tutto buono, ma con delle piccole pecche, per dirne una, il ripieno dei ravioli (piatto non mio ma assaggiato da tutti) era ancora molto freddo. Io ho preso il risotto a cui non ho nulla da eccepire, era buonissimo. Tiramisù normale. C’è un po’ di confusione nel servizio, c’è chi arriva a sistemare il tavolo, chi arriva a prendere l’ordine, chi arriva per i vini, tuttavia servizio comunque sempre gentile e attento. Sicuramente migliorabile ma si parte già da una buonissima base.

Then one morning I went to get the croissant, the barmaid didn't want to give it to me... I got very angry about this, but I'm sorry that it's closed now.

18/08/2024: We have been coming to this restaurant for years and never had any problems. I booked for a public holiday, we were just over 10 minutes late due to problems with my son and upon arrival the owner, in front of the customers, made a scene about the delay saying that there were people in line waiting. Nothing could be further from the truth: many tables became free shortly after and have remained so. Biblical waiting times, normal food and, given the prices, there is certainly better around. Not recommended.

18/08/2024: We went for dinner and after 30 minutes, as soon as the children's dishes arrived, we had to leave, asked by the person at the cash register to leave the place because our children of about 2 years old, who were crying at that moment, were giving , according to him, bothered the rest of the room having had complaints from other customers. We therefore only paid for the two penne with sauce (initially €32 because he wanted to also charge us for other covers which then became €24 after asking for an explanation) for the children who had hardly consumed anything and had to leave. Disputing the little, I correct myself: "no" education and hospitality towards customers and the same cost for two plates of pasta with sauce we were told, in the following order: - return from the refugee camp we came from - that the restaurant was not the caritas - that before going out you need to learn how to educate your children (children of less than 2 years old). Another note: the high chairs, if you can call them that, are quite dated and without any safety measures (one of the two even lacked a railing), I'm sorry I wasn't able to take a photo. Greetings.

10/07/2024: Il cibo è molto buono, anche se a volte sembra scongelato, l'offerta per l'albergo è vergognosa, le stanze sono minuscole, i materassi vecchi e rovinati, il bagno è osceno, la tazza si trova a pochi centimetri dalla doccia, non permettendo a chi è seduto sulla tazza di mettersi dritto, le stanze risultano vecchie e rovinate, con qualche problema di sicurezza come il pannello elettrico scoperto e la possibilità di uscire dalla finestra per finire su un tetto, per il resto ovvero l'esterno e il salone niente da ridire, solo il tavolo del capanno da mettere in sicurezza perché obsoleto e non fissato a terra. Per quanto riguarda il personale risulta scortese, con troppa confidenza verso chi viene servito a tavola e senza un minimo di eleganza o di concetti base per servire, i camerieri portano 2 piatti alla volta e oltre a metterli in modo poco consono non rispettano alcuna regola rischiando di fare cadere cose. In conclusione il cibo è buono ma tutto il resto risulta a un livello bassissimo.
