12/08/2026: A small, quaint restaurant in the center of Castel di Sangro, with an authentic, family-friendly atmosphere. The menu isn't extensive, but I personally consider this a plus: a few well-differentiated options and several homemade dishes. We tried the cacio e ova (cheese and egg) balls, the tagliatelle with venison ragù, the gnocchi with porcini mushrooms, sausage, and truffle, and the artisanal arrosticini. First courses were flavorful and well-executed; the arrosticini were particularly good: large, tender, and decidedly different from the industrial products often found in the area. You can taste the quality of the ingredients and the real work that goes into the dishes. Satisfying portions, friendly service, and prices clearly indicated on the digital menu. Considering the quality, preparation, and quantity, the value for money seemed absolutely fair. A restaurant without too many elaborate embellishments, where people come primarily for good Abruzzo cuisine. I would gladly return.
