28/10/2025: This was a place I didn't expect much from, but it turned out to be the best place we visited during our trip and the cheapest, even though the price range on the maps was the same as in other places. Large portions and a wide selection of dishes. I would love to mention the very tasty and cheap house white wine (vino della casa). The waiter was incredibly talented and pleasant, and I am very grateful for such wonderful service and atmosphere! I’d like to extend special thanks to our attentive waiter for assisting when I asked if it might be possible to buy a liter of wine - probably an unusual request for the restaurant, but he handled it with such courtesy and good humor!

04/08/2025: The meat, it must be said, was truly excellent. But everything else left a bitter taste in my mouth—in every sense. IF YOU GO, ASK IN ADVANCE IF THE INGREDIENTS ARE PRESENT. My girlfriend ordered a sandwich that, according to the menu, should have included beef carpaccio, arugula, stracciatella, and mayonnaise. She specifically asked for only the mayonnaise to be removed, but instead found herself served a sandwich with only carpaccio and arugula, which was also very bitter. No trace of the stracciatella, which should have balanced the dish. We pointed out the mistake, and after a few minutes, the dish was returned exactly as it was, accompanied by a rather disarming explanation: "The stracciatella is out." No one bothered to communicate this beforehand, nor to offer an alternative—a simple mozzarella, for example, would have saved the dish and the service as well.

16/11/2025: I hate to give this review, but when I went to Mortadella, we walked in and the welcome wasn't the best. We said hello and they didn't even respond. Then we sat down (there was only one customer at the counter). There were two employees behind the counter, and we waited 5 minutes, and no one came to serve us, so we had to get up and go order at the counter. We got two mortadella sandwiches, a glass of water, and a spritz, and we paid 12 euros. Not to mention, the mortadella tasted like the mortadella from Eurospin. I wouldn't recommend it.

27/11/2025: Let's start by saying that this isn't my first time at this restaurant: I can confidently say I've been coming ever since they changed management. At first, I was simply curious to see what would change... and can I say it? They've upheld the restaurant's reputation; in fact, they've enhanced it. I've been there both as a couple and with friends, and each time the experience has lived up to expectations. The ingredients are fresh, high-quality, and every dish is meticulously crafted. You can taste the passion and attention to detail behind their cuisine. A plus is their allergy management: just a phone call or a simple request, and they can easily adapt dishes. That's something not everyone can do. The location... there's nothing to say, because it speaks for itself. It's welcoming, well-maintained, with an atmosphere that puts you at ease right away. It's one of those places where you walk in and know you'll be happy. The service is excellent: knowledgeable, friendly, and professional staff. If you're unsure about which wine to pair, simply ask: they'll be happy to recommend the most suitable label for your dishes. The waitress, in particular, is always smiling, friendly, attentive to guests' needs, and capable of maintaining an exceptional level of professionalism even during the busiest of times. The manager, meanwhile, perfectly embodies the elegance and authority of a truly high-ranking restaurant manager. Always impeccable, with extraordinary attention to every detail, he moves among the tables discreetly, ensuring everything runs smoothly. His presence is reassuring and lends a touch of class to the entire service. I highly recommend everyone try it at least once, and if I may offer a suggestion, make your first visit during the week: you'll enjoy the ambience and the attentive staff even more. I'll definitely be back soon!

13/12/2025: Panigacci were lovely, crispy, and very good. The suckling pig was incredibly tender. The crema catalana was good. The place is small but cozy, with very friendly service and friendly staff. The four of us spent €35 each, a fair price. These days, if you want to eat well, you can't spend less than €35 per person, especially if you eat meat. I recommend it and will definitely be back.

31/10/2025: 5 stars are not enough for what we’ve got. We arrived at the restaurant and we were immediately greeted and even though we do not speak Italian, we just try to guess some words the girl that served us did her best to communicate with us which we really appreciated. We ended up asking her to build whatever menu she wanted for us in any budget and DELIVERED. We’ve got a 5 course tasting menu for 2 persons, dessert and wine and we ended up paying 80 euros which for the quality of the food was far under what I expected. We usually enjoy going out and trying as much as we can from new restaurants and we love the ones that feel like you are eating in someone’s house. Locanda is that place and it is a no brainer in terms of hospitality, food taste and setup. Thank you very much for the experience, you were all amazing hosts for our dinner!
