17/12/2025: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Creuza de Ma Boccadasse was a wonderful experience. Eating there in such a charming and authentic setting made everything even better. The atmosphere is relaxed and very typical of the area, with a beautiful seaside vibe that makes you want to slow down and enjoy the moment. The food was very good, fresh and well prepared, and the service was friendly and attentive throughout the visit. It is the kind of place that feels genuine and memorable, perfect for enjoying good food while taking in the unique charm of Boccadasse.

18/11/2025: The food is excellent, the prices aren't too high and the portions are decent. In my opinion, the only flaw is the wine selection, and more importantly, the prices. There's no cheap house wine, and if you want to drink, you have to spend.

09/12/2025: Let me start by saying that whenever I return to Volterra, I'll return to Antica Taverna to give it 5 stars; a place as beautiful as all Tuscan villages manage to be, nestled in their characteristic and stunning alleys! The vast menu with an incredible number of dishes to choose from becomes a daunting task, and that's when a living encyclopedia of the best local dishes comes to the rescue: the legendary waiter, who describes everything in great detail! We enjoyed delicious appetizers and first courses; my only complaint is the fried zucchini flowers and sage, which should have been my highlight of the lunch, but instead was a slight disappointment due to the greasy batter. The prices are quite high, but quality rarely comes cheap.

07/12/2025: We're from Emilia, so you know, we're very picky about food... that said, we were extremely satisfied with the dinner we had. Everything was truly delicious, plentiful, and made with top-quality ingredients... the waiter was extremely kind, incredibly hospitable, and very knowledgeable in explaining the dishes and providing some historical information about the area. If we return to Volterra, we'll definitely eat at Antica Taverna again.
