Great pasta and excellent service! The place is very nice and welcoming.

On the slopes of Etna, in Zafferana Etnea, you can have lunch at this trattoria where you have to be careful what you order... For goodness sake, everything is delicious... from the platter to the mushroom lasagna, from the tortellini with Nebrodi pork sauce to the roast pork shank... but the portions are so generous, it's impossible to finish everything. The caponata, panzanella, and mushroom crostini are also excellent. The house wine is also good, but there's a wide selection of wines and beers if you prefer, and the coffee is excellent too. The place is small with just a few tables, so I recommend making a reservation. The prices are absolutely fair and reasonable. Very kind and attentive staff, and fast service. Highly recommended.

Excellent Sicilian cuisine, with healthy options. We liked it so much that we went back both days. The artichokes were incredible; I still remember them.

We went to Pentolaccia in Zafferana and it didn't disappoint. The atmosphere is rustic and authentic, just how we like it. We started with a mouth-watering mushroom cocotte, followed by tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms that truly tasted of the woods. The portions were just right, and the pasta was cooked to perfection. The mixed grill was perfectly cooked, with flavorful and tender local meat. The finale, however, was the coup de grace: a ricotta and pear tart with a heavenly texture, one of the best I've ever had. Bruno (the owner) is great; he makes you feel at home without too many frills. The price is very fair for the quality they offer. If you're in the Etna area, stop here; you won't regret it. One tip: make a reservation because the place is tiny!

We booked a table after a hike without knowing it. We found a welcoming atmosphere and excellent food! And the staff was incredibly kind. The girl who served us was very friendly and always attentive to our requests. We had such a great time that the next day for lunch before leaving, we ate the delicious tagliatelle ai funghi again!!! We'll definitely be back!!! Highly recommended!!!!
