08/10/2025: We ordered pickled anchovies, fried calamari, Gorgonzola pizza, lemon spaghetti salad, lasagna, and tiramisu for dessert. Everything was very tasty and it was very nice to sit there.

04/11/2025: A small, cozy restaurant with friendly, attentive staff. Delicious dishes, including the homemade pasta with mushrooms and sausage, the Florentine steak, and the French fries, and the desserts are excellent.

24/10/2025: Wanted to love it, but didn’t. First they said zucchini flowers were finished for the season…..then the friendly waiter acquiesced and got me some. Every table around me also ordered it without the same song and dance. Only run out for non-locals? Then they recommended a stuffed potato filled pasta with porcini mushroom which was stuffed with SWEET POTATO which they didn’t mention and the flavour was just….so so. I didn’t see a single other table order it… read into that what you will. White house wine was awful, I had a sip and left it. They don’t offer glasses only a carafe which is kinda cheeky for lousy box wine. Servers acted friendly, lots of Italian spoken around me. No limoncello offered, despite other tables getting some. Disappointing to be charged 44 eur for an underwhelming meal which was largely vegetarian.

21/09/2025: Rude and unwelcoming – we left before even ordering. We visited as a group of three: two meat eaters and one vegetarian. The two meat eaters were considering the tasting menu, and the vegetarian was planning to order à la carte. Nowhere on the website or at the venue was it stated that the entire table must choose the same menu format – and we were happy to proceed that way. However, Matteo insisted that we either all order the tasting menu—even though one of us is vegetarian—or all go à la carte. When we explained this wasn’t possible, he simply left without offering any alternative or suggestion. After driving an hour to get there, the staff offered us water, which we accepted while looking over the menu. While the other staff members were polite and professional, Matteo’s arrogant and ignorant attitude—judging people without knowing them—made us feel completely unwelcome. He even doubted that we had dined elsewhere, showing a clear lack of experience beyond his own bubble—unlike us, who have traveled the world dining in many different places and countries. To add insult to injury, when my husband—who is a regional manager at one of the leading companies in England—left a reasonable review, Matteo responded dismissively with “stay at home.” We’re not going to stay home, and if the attitude doesn’t change, this restaurant will lose customers in the future. It was so uncomfortable that we decided to leave before even placing an order. What made things worse was that they refused to let us take the water they had just offered us, even though we were happy to pay for it. It was an unnecessarily embarrassing moment that showed a total lack of respect for guests. They didn’t even bother offering an apology, an explanation, or an alternative – nothing. It was clear they only care about those prepared to spend hundreds on a piece of meat. If you’re not there to indulge in their full tasting menu with no questions asked, you’re treated like an inconvenience. Reading their responses to other negative reviews shows a pattern of arrogance and defensiveness. Unfortunately, what others have written is exactly what we experienced firsthand. We came ready to enjoy a meal – not to be spoken down to. A deeply disappointing experience, and absolutely not worth the trip. Don’t worry, Matteo, we have enough money to buy the entire island water.

25/10/2025: Beautiful location, the terrace is magnificent. Very friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent dishes and generous portions, very good value for money.

23/10/2025: We were in Florence, Italy and looking for a nice place to eat and relax. Osteria was just a block away from where we were staying. You would never know from the front or just walking in that there was a lovely garden in the backyard. It has both covered and outside seating, as well as inside up front. The food and service were top notch. While waiting for our main course we indulged in crusted bread, with a Delicious Olive Oil. The ravioli stuffed with parmesan cheese. was delicious, and the steak with rosemary and garlic with roasted potatoes hit my spot. We enjoyed a bottle of Chianti and were too stuffed for desert. Great find, if you're in Florence, and looking for a nice romantic place to eat.

14/10/2025: The owner/manager was extremely kind and helpful ☺️ The property is conveniently located for reaching high-altitude locations, as well as for reaching the cities and towns of Sondrio, and also for enjoying breathtaking views of nature! Simple but pleasant service, comfortable and very welcoming rooms. I highly recommend it.

01/10/2025: Spectacular view. Very kind owner. Spotlessly clean room. Breakfast included with local products (jam, honey). You can also buy products on site. It's a shame we couldn't use the restaurant... that weekend, the chef was unfortunately on vacation. We'll definitely be back.

16/10/2025: The patio is perfect in the Fall with a mosaic of vines and grape leaves catching the light above you as you dine on the delicious dishes of Venice. The lobster risotto is something I dream about a month after returning to the states.

16/10/2025: The photo is of the shocking garlic bread that I paid for.. The vongole tastes better in Korea.. There was no dressing for the salad. They didn't even ask how the steak was cooked ㅋㅋㅋ I felt like we were being discriminated against. We ate it because we were hungry, but the garlic bread really crossed the line. They gave us the receipt and subtly asked for a 20% tip. Ha, I was so pissed^^ I left without giving it. I went there because it was close to my accommodation, but I'm writing a review with great regret.

14/11/2025: Hospitality... I visited this place for a quick lunch and first of all I enjoyed the extraordinary Salento hospitality and then the excellent quality of the food. Kudos to the owners who told us how they've run the place with passion for years. Delicious pastries, I highly recommend it to everyone... Thank you for everything.
