Good selection of wines also available.Nice background music makes Cardinal a can’t miss option. Very reasonable prices as well. Highly recommended.

10/03/2025: I found the presumption of posing as a starred restaurant, with little, or rather no, flexibility in managing requests. I didn't feel good, pressure on respecting the timetable, but the place was empty! They didn't seem as friendly as they would like to appear, (fake kindness), nothing serious, of course, but given dislike gives an unsympathetic attitude. Very nice dishes, above average prices, so-so flavours. Maybe the review encourages us to improve.

18/04/2025: Excellent evening spent. I probably ate the best rib of my life there. The meat was very tender, very tasty and cooked to perfection. The recommended Sardinian wine was good too.

03/03/2025: It loses a star only on the environment which may raise some doubts, with the choice of the fake citrus pergola, for the rest it is passed with flying colours, both for the friendliness of the staff and for the quality of the food. We opted for a fish-based dinner and I confirmed the impression of the first time I was there for a dinner with colleagues. The pictures speak for themselves, while I can only tell you about the excellent flavours. We will be back for sure.

13/04/2025: Perfect! Here is the updated review with the name of the pizzeria and the Saturday karaoke experience: Excellent place found due to the excellent reviews. I went to Funiculì Funiculà on a Saturday evening, and I must say that it was a truly pleasant experience from every point of view. The pizza is excellent: soft and well-cooked dough, generous toppings and very fresh ingredients. You can feel all the care and passion behind it. The welcome from the owner, Alessandro, was warm and genuine. A cheerful person, always with a smile, who knows how to put customers at ease like few others can. The real surprise, however, came with the Saturday night karaoke: music, laughter and lots of fun! The atmosphere transformed into a party with friends, with everyone involved between one song and another. A perfect mix of good food and joy. Clean place, family atmosphere and honest prices. I highly recommend it. I will definitely return. April 12, 2025

15/04/2025: On the recommendation of a friend I come here for lunch. I had a great time and can't wait to go back. Very nice location, excellent food, generous and very satisfying portions. I made the complete lunch menu for €25 including water and coffee.

03/04/2025: I found out about this place thanks to a couple of friends. I had lunch on a weekday with the business lunch formula. The characteristic place, an ancient farmhouse with vaults and a star with exposed bricks, a warm and welcoming yet large environment. The "business lunch" formula includes a buffet and then you can choose a first or second course or a complete lunch. Excellent price, 18 or 21 or 25 euros for the three options including water, wine and coffee. The buffet is excellent, not the usual arranged vegetables but a real triumph of various products, from cured meats to omelettes, from cheeses to leavened products, all very well done, remarkable quality of raw materials. The buffet alone would be a super lunch on its own. I then opted for a second course and they served me a whole cockerel with baked potatoes, very well done, tasty and soft, really excellent. One diner opted for a risotto that was served in the characteristic pan, had been made espresso, al dente and well creamed. Before going out I tried to book for a Sunday in May for lunch where I would have brought some guests (I would have made a great impression) but unfortunately everything was already reserved (Confirmations in progress). The place is definitely worth it and the staff is capable, professional and kind. We will definitely return, perhaps to have lunch outdoors since there is this possibility in the summer months.
