04/11/2025: Lunch at L’Arancio was delightful: we tried Cecina, a chickpea flatbread typical of Pisa, two delicious pizzas, and wine recommended by the owner, who took the time to chat with us in French! It was a wonderful discovery :)

22/10/2025: The value for money is great. Here, the pizzas are still made by hand in a beautiful stone oven over an open fire. Simply delicious, and not just the pizzas! 😋

02/11/2025: A quick business lunch, they offer two set menus, one featuring seafood and one featuring meat. You can also choose à la carte. The owner is very helpful and quick. Good food, without being too pretentious. It's a small place, so I recommend making a reservation.

14/10/2025: A truly positive experience. Dinner with friends on a Saturday night, the place was packed. The atmosphere was a bit cramped, but the service was friendly and fast. We had a truly wonderful meal, with meat and liver arrosticini, and exceptional pizza and bruschetta. I'll be back.

08/09/2025: Lovely restaurant right outside of the main area of Montepulciano. The owner and his wife provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere with delicious food. As vegetarians we tried La Ribollita soup and the Cappellacci, both of which were delightful. Recommend this spot if you’re in the area looking for some good food.

13/11/2025: I was there for a business lunch, the dishes were not very abundant but still good, the staff were very kind and helpful, there are an infinite number of beers on tap to try.

27/10/2025: I've never seen such scenes in my entire life... I made a reservation a week in advance for 7 people: we arrived at 1 PM, ordered at 1:15 PM, and at 2:30 PM, all we saw were the crostini and drinks. I asked the waitress several times about the entrees, and she said she'd go check, but never came back (the fourth time I also told her I was pregnant, and wanted to know if there were any problems... but she disappeared again). TWO HOURS LATER, AT 3 PM, the waiter informed us (since it was the last day of work before a month and a half of vacation) that the food was counted... they'd practically run out of entrees and sauces, and if we wanted to eat, we'd have to take what little was left (after an hour and a half of asking!!!!). We forgot about the entrees and asked what we could have for the main course. Her response: "Oh, I don't know, I have to see what's left and what's left after the people before you ordered!" So, at 3 PM, we got up and left... At this point, you'd expect to find someone at the cash register who would regretfully apologize for the mix-up (which, if it had happened, I wouldn't be here writing this review, because to err is human and mistakes are forgiven... all it takes is a little humility, and besides, all of us at the table were people who work with the public and know how difficult it can be!) But the opposite happened: the owner arrogantly and rudely told us, "What am I supposed to do if I've run out of food?...No one would have kicked you out, you could have just eaten what was left!!" 😳 (Basically nothing from what the waiter reported!...and at what time?!) We refused to pay for the drinks and crostini, but if we hadn't, he would have easily made us pay for them!!! 😳😳😳

23/10/2025: One of Salerno's historic restaurants, an excellent family-run business that continues a tradition. It offers typical and tasty dishes, attentive and friendly service, and excellent value for money. Finding dried fruit, such as walnuts, figs, and even sorbets, is not a given and deserves a special mention. Congratulations, Giuseppe and Carmine.

09/10/2025: We arrived starving and lost just looking for pizzeria. We poked our heads in to find an elegant dining room complete with a piano and organ. They were closed for the typical Italian lunch break, but the owner all but forced us to come in and take seat. He and his wife are the chefs and their son works the floor and they came up with freshly prepared pasta dishes made all from scratch. The wife came out to brag on her hand made noodles and gnocchi and boy way is delicious. The son gave great company while waited for our meals. The place instantly became our favorite restaurant!

18/10/2025: A guarantee. Quality meat. Impeccable service. The fireplace is always lit for cooking and the atmosphere!

12/10/2025: We booked late, at 9:30 PM, and the owner greeted us with a smile and a warm welcome. The meat was exceptional, with a wide selection, and the appetizers and side dishes were also very good. The price was exceptional for the quality of the food! I highly recommend it and hope to return when I'm back in Fiuggi!
