04/10/2025: Good food, some sophisticated and unique dishes. Good quality meat. Good service. Nice location, but tables too close together. The atmosphere (measured in terms of clientele) is too loud.

30/09/2025: Stopping by before the Serie D match between Cannara and Grosseto, a special lunch awaited, as did the entire staff! Strangozzi with truffles and fillet steak with sauce, pepper, and raisins, served with roast potatoes—truly out of this world, all washed down with a lovely glass of red wine, complete with a glass of limoncello! Definitely worth it, a hug from Maremma!

03/12/2025: What can I say... when things are prepared with taste and love, the result can only be perfect... and it shows! My sister and I had lunch and dinner at this delightful restaurant, which immediately struck me with the warmth of the atmosphere. The service was impeccable, the staff friendly, attentive, and helpful, the food extraordinarily beautiful to look at and, above all, delicious to taste, with generous portions. Compliments to the chef! We indulged ourselves by sampling a little bit of everything, and it was truly a lovely surprise. In the end, we ran out of room for dessert... a shame, because the dessert trolley was very inviting! The icing on the cake was the sweetness of the owner Francesca, who, with a warm smile, a chat, and her friendliness, made us feel right at home! Highly recommended!!! I'll definitely be back

09/11/2025: A family day out, we ate spaghetti with clams and fried food, everything was delicious, the desserts were excellent, you have to book because there are few places

14/12/2025: We went last night with a couple of friends and two small children, our first time for pizza. The pizzas were delicious, so leavened that it was as if we hadn't eaten them, and the fried foods were excellent; it was truly a wonderful discovery. The attention paid to the children with us was priceless; they even asked if they wanted to watch their favorite cartoons and channel, and their requests were granted. Great service from the kitchen to the waiters who accompanied us throughout the evening. WE WILL BE BACK!

11/11/2025: Overall: the food isn't bad, but it lacks the flavor and quality that could be described as excellent. The dishes are overly salty, and the meat isn't bad, but it's not excellent either. In short, it feels a bit like a crowded place. I'm always looking for high-quality ingredients in my food: I don't think Schiavenza is a place to be overly considered.

03/11/2025: Lack of honesty. My family and I booked a dinner for nine people well in advance, specifying that one person was vegan and therefore asking if vegan options were available. No difficulty was expressed when requesting the options; in fact, we were told there would be no problem in offering them. However, once we arrived at the restaurant, there were no vegan options; the only options offered were pasta with tomato sauce or removing ingredients from other courses. I believe this behavior is completely unfair or unprofessional for a restaurant that had plenty of time to prepare something for a customer, especially since they would have simply been honest and admitted they had no options to offer.

07/12/2025: Ristorante Le Papere is a true gem on Lake Bracciano: a simply fabulous location, with a view that makes the experience even more special. The staff is kind, attentive, and welcoming; you can immediately sense their dedication to their guests. The food is excellent, with local dishes prepared with great care and respect for tradition. A place I absolutely recommend visiting.

07/12/2025: We went for lunch at a place we chose based on the attractive advertising we saw on social media. The place is very nice, the staff are very friendly, and the menu encourages you to order a little bit of everything. We had two appetizers and two pizzas, and everything was very good, even the magnacruste sauces. The prices were average. Parking was convenient.

07/12/2025: The choice of this restaurant for our recent Sunday lunch break was truly spot on 👌🏻 (by the way, thanks to the diner who found it online 📱), which satisfied us in every way 👍🏻💯. Arriving there at 1.30 pm 🕜 directly from Pontelongo, where we had just visited the Sugar Factory 🏭 and the Rossetto Mill, we were warmly welcomed at the entrance by a manager 👩🏻‍🦰 who, just at that moment, was leaving (exceptional timing, as we jokingly 😁 noted with her). The same 👩🏻‍🦰 then accompanied us to a free table (3b) at the back of the internal room. The latter is certainly welcoming, featuring a rustic theme (see the "poor" style of the tables and straw-seated chairs 🪑, typical of old-fashioned taverns) yet at the same time "fresh" thanks to the colorful ⚪️🟡⚫️🟢🔴 and charming side wall. The menu 📋 is truly captivating, full of delicious and original options, including the typical Polesine pizzas ("neither thick Neapolitan, nor thin northern pizza..." as indicated on the official website 🌐, but made with "POLESANISSIMO®" dough) and the unique first courses served inside pizza bread wrappers, so to speak, almost as if they were revisited kebab sandwiches 🥙. It's impossible to resist the latter, available in the "Cinghiatelle," "Carbonara nostrana," and "Amatriciana polesana" flavors, especially considering the attractive prices. In the end, as a carbonara fan, I opted for this flavor, although I was still curious to try the other two variations as well. To round out the order, I also ordered an amatriciana 🍝 (the traditional version, meaning without bread), an "Ortosana" pizza 🍕, a portion of French fries 🍟, a lager 🍺, a liter of sparkling water 💧, and two glasses of wine (Lugana and Valpolicella 🍷), as well as a couple of espressos ☕️ and a macchiato to finish the meal. All truly delicious 😋 and served promptly by the aforementioned kind waitress 👩🏻‍🦰. In particular, the lust for carbonara with pizza bread soaked in the generous amount of sauce is indescribable. The pizza 🍕 and the amatriciana were also good, although the latter was perhaps a bit too salty. Once at the counter to settle the bill (by the way, €66.50 💶 the total, paid by card 💳), we also took the opportunity to treat ourselves to a couple of spins at the "Ruota del Musso", a unique game that allows you to receive free vouchers 🎫. These, which are not cumulative, can be used for specific courses and have an expiration date; to access the game, simply frame the QR code on the paper placemat with your camera 📱 and follow the instructions. It's also worth noting that the same code gives you access to the "secret menu", a fun little gem that we discovered too late, however. Finally, attracted by a banana liqueur 🍌 on display at the counter (the "Bananino del Musso"), we bought a bottle after a kind tasting offered to us by the girl 👩🏻‍🦱 at the cash register, who also explained to us how to use the coupons 🎫 mentioned above (in our case corresponding to the "magna" and "tasi!" prizes). The bathrooms 🚾 were clean and tidy 🚽🧻🧴. The parking area 🅿️ wasn't huge, but it was still sufficient. I'd definitely like to return, which is why I can only RECOMMEND stopping here 👍🏻. 17/10/2025: A hotel with lots of character and very friendly staff. Everything is relaxed and the service is friendly. Upon check-in (without prior booking), we were told the restaurant was closed. However, the breakfast buffet and service were world-class! I've never experienced such a lovingly prepared and extensive buffet (and that for just a few guests) (and I'm old, well-traveled, and well-traveled).

16/10/2025: I stayed with my family (wife and two children) for a long weekend at the end of August. The facilities and food were top-notch, and the staff were incredibly professional and friendly. It will be my go-to place in Courmayeur.

26/10/2025: A top spot. Both for drinks and, on weekends, for dinner.

12/10/2025: Great ambience in this secluded courtyard bar which had a cool, relaxed vibe. Having dinner here we found food & drinks were good, the fish & chips especially so (and this is coming from an Anglophile). Although things were a little on the pricy side, especially the beer, but if you can forgive that it's a nice little place.

28/11/2025: Excellent food. The menu isn't extensive, but in my opinion it caters to all tastes. The service was prompt. The atmosphere was clean, and the background jazz music was pleasant. The only thing I found below expectations was the wine selection, which I didn't feel offered adequate value for money.
