Excellent Marubini, preceded by a mixed antipasti of excellent cured meats and decent pickles. The tiramisu to finish was also decent (not ladyfingers, but plenty of mascarponico). You can choose between the air-conditioned icebox or room temperature.

The guinea fowl and the marubini in broth were very good. The cured meats for the appetizer weren't exceptional. The waitresses were friendly.

Very good, kind, helpful, and good food. Price in line with the times. The only flaw was a slice of lemon served with my cutlet, which wasn't even dry or dehydrated... it was worse. But we had a good time, and I wouldn't mind stopping by again; in fact, I recommend it.

The atmosphere was calm, and the noise from other tables was muffled by panels hanging from the ceiling and walls. The menu was spoken to us verbally. The marubini in broth demanded to be savored one by one. They took me back to a slow, home-style cuisine I'd stopped searching for.

I used to go there many years ago, about twenty years ago. I finally got around to going back and, to my delight, I discovered that their signature dish, guinea fowl in clay pots, is still their specialty and is still fantastic. Otherwise, the staff, all of them, are remarkably courteous and friendly. The prices are truly reasonable, the portions are "just right," and the atmosphere is very pleasant. I absolutely must return more often.

Guinea fowl alla clay is not just a dish, it's a ritual. The preparation is almost ancestral: the meat is wrapped in parchment and then sealed in a layer of clay molded directly on the pan, before being slowly cooked for three or four hours. When it arrives at the table, it's a veritable explosion of flavors. The meat, protected by its clay shell, remains incredibly tender, preserving all the juices and aromas that explode at the first bite. It's a gastronomic rarity that overshadows the rest of the menu, which remains adequate but lacks any real flair.
