17/12/2025: My wife and I went for dinner and, unfortunately, we noticed a marked deterioration compared to the last time we visited. The meat was not cut properly, it was excessively salty, and the cooking was very uneven: in some parts it was overcooked, in others it was practically raw. Furthermore, the cut was particularly sinewy, making the meat unpleasant to eat. We remembered this restaurant as being of a much higher standard, which made the disappointment even more evident.

He constantly pesters the staff, hovering all over the dining room, making the atmosphere very uncomfortable. Furthermore, the man has no manners. Quite the opposite of the staff who work for him. I would advise him to stay home; we diners would enjoy the delicacies prepared in his establishment much more.

25/11/2025: We needed a place for lunch on our drive from Modena to Alba, and a fortuitous Google search led us to La Buta. What an amazing hidden gem! Everything surpassed our expectations. The staff were incredibly kind and friendly, the location was beautiful, and the food was incredible! This is absolutely worth a trip.

28/10/2025: Quality products, equally high levels of rudeness. Sunday, 10:00 a.m., my 12-year-old daughter and I, the place is packed. At the cashier, they ask if we're eating at the counter or sitting down (I look around and there's no room), and I say "sit down" if you prefer, but I don't want to wait an hour. With a sigh, they tell me it's full, so I opt for the counter. They set down the products, the other customers push us around, and I tell my daughter to go outside and sit at a table outside. The counter attendant looks at me in disgust and reminds me she'd actually asked if we'd be at the counter or with service, so I tell her we're standing outside. She glares at me with pity. Bottom line: if they wanted €2 to sit outside, they could have just told the cashier; I would have given them €5 to avoid feeling humiliated and pushed around. They're rude... it's a shame because the pastry chef is good. GO WHEN IT'S EMPTY, maybe they'll treat you like a customer and not like a bum.

26/10/2025: It's always a pleasure to return; we've always enjoyed the service, the quality of the products, and the peaceful setting. This morning, I made an appointment with my sisters from Cermenate. I arrived early, hoping to find a table, knowing how chaotic it can be, especially on Sundays, with its loyal clientele. We were waiting, and I must say how professional and kind the staff, mostly women, are. We were sitting outside, and Sara came to take our order. I told them we were waiting for my sisters and asked if there was a table available inside. After a few minutes, Sara freed a table for us, calling our attention. We were very pleased with the service, given the attention and care they provide. Giulia took our order, patient with the coffee shop's menu, which is always different, and the same goes for the croissants, which are excellent quality and delicious. Our first visit was a while ago, brought by our friend Antonio, the mayor of Briosco. Since then, we've been visiting this charming place every now and then.

01/12/2025: A small "inn" with an open kitchen. The atmosphere is well-maintained and authentic in every way. The menu focuses on typical Egubian and Umbrian dishes, with a special focus on truffles. We opted for a tasting platter, which was excellent value. The quality of the ingredients was excellent. Every bite took me back to the cooking of my mother, aunt, and grandmothers. The service was excellent, with the waitresses always smiling and friendly. I highly recommend it.
