Everything was great, they were very kind, the place was amazing, and the food was delicious. To get there, you have to walk 3-5 minutes uphill.

The welcome, atmosphere, food, atmosphere, and staff were magnificent. It took us less than 50 minutes to get there from Milan. I recommend calling before arriving because they'll contact you via WhatsApp with all the information you need to get as close as possible and to park a few steps away. The view is breathtaking, the food is 10/10 in quality and quantity, and the price is super affordable—I'd even say cheap. The service is friendly, helpful, cordial, and attentive. Very honest. Highly recommended. We loved everything :)

Very nice location with indoor and outdoor seating, varied and very good typical menu from appetizers to dessert, excellent service, friendly staff, lunch in two sittings.

This crotto, located along a hiking trail, is ideal for a break immersed in nature. You can enjoy typical Valtellina products in medium-sized portions, which taste excellent. The location is very characteristic, in perfect mountain style, with a splendid view of Lake Annone, making the experience even more enjoyable. The prices are high, especially considering the difficulty in getting there and the lack of nearby parking. Overall, however, a positive experience that I recommend.

We ate here for lunch on Saturday, May 23. We were returning to the Sentiero del Viandante and asked Google for a restaurant where we could eat pizzoccheri and polenta. It suggested this Crotto, located in Civate, which a friend had already recommended to me. The restaurant is a short walk uphill from the parking lot, and if necessary, they'll send someone to pick you up. The place was packed and they were already working hard to find us a seat when two young men sat us down at their table. They were very pleasant and made us enjoy lunch with them as if we'd known each other for years. We ordered pizzoccheri and polenta, both very good and richly seasoned, just as I think mountain food should be. The desserts were also very good; my partner really enjoyed the tiramisu. The staff is made up of very young people, very friendly and always smiling. The atmosphere is cheerful, and eating outside offers a view of Lake Annone and the Lecco Prealps. The price is fair, in line with the quality of the dishes. They also have an Instagram page where they post themed dinners. I highly recommend booking well in advance, although they were willing to find us a table even with no notice. Definitely a place to return.

Welcoming atmosphere, a truly beautiful outdoor space, very friendly staff, and delicious dishes typical of a crotto. The bill was fair for what we ate and the good wine we drank. Highly recommended.

Located along the path leading to the Abbey of San Pietro al Monte in Civate (LC). The Crotto del Capraio can only be reached on foot. Leave your car in the narrow streets and walk through the small village for about 10 minutes (a slightly uphill dirt road) to admire the splendid view of the lake. Typical mountain dishes, excellent platters. Fair prices, impeccable service. Reservations required, as there are very few tables.
