26/09/2025: Atmosphere: 8/10 Backdoor 43 is one of Milan’s most unusual concepts. You get your own private room for an hour, with full control over the music and a setup that feels like a tiny living room surrounded by whiskey bottles. The intimacy can be a bit awkward for introverts since the bartender is part of your experience the entire time, so the usual social energy of a bar isn’t really present. The whole room functions as the backbar, and seating is fully private. Located along the canal next to MAG Café, the setting outside is vibrant and lively. Drinks: 8/10 Recommendation: BananaVardier The menu is very creative in design with a broad selection. Drinks are good in flavor and balance. Presentation is basic overall, with average glassware, simple garnishes, and straightforward ice. Coasters are nice. Service: 9/10 Service is essentially one-to-one with your personal bartender, making it extremely attentive. Water is provided on arrival. The bartender is both professional and very friendly. Reservations are mandatory, and pricing is average.

15/10/2025: We had dinner and had a truly wonderful time with all the courses...the carbonara was an A+ and the sliced ​​steak with porcini mushrooms was spectacular, not to mention the homemade desserts. I tried the tiramisu, it was amazing! It was all accompanied by an excellent Cannonau wine, excellent value for money. To finish, we drank local gentian, which is very rare to find, and the myrtle too...the owners were very kind, friendly, and welcoming.

30/11/2025: Compared to years ago, you can feel the change in management—at least you could feel it this time. The fried gnocco is crispy, not soft like it always was before; the cured meats are decent but nothing special; the tortelli con la coda are always excellent, while the meat main courses are a bit dry but overall good. The wines are average and not particularly noteworthy. The service is always friendly and attentive. The prices are a bit high for the quality offered. Let's hope it was just an off day.

30/11/2025: We ate at this trattoria in the summer on the outdoor patio overlooking the hills. It was fantastic! Last night we had dinner inside, and we had a wonderful time. We'll definitely be back. The place is welcoming, the staff are professional, kind, helpful, and friendly, which doesn't hurt. And most importantly, the food is excellent. The cold cuts and gnocco fritto were excellent, as was the rest. Excellent value for money. We'll definitely be back. Thank you.

22/10/2025: Luckily, my boss always lets me discover new places when I come to the restaurant, and this pizzeria is one of them! The gluten-free pizza I ordered was truly fabulous, as were the pizzas served with various dough types. They also had many delicious appetizers and local specialties that sold out in no time. This characteristic stone restaurant features vaulted ceilings of various sizes. They've added a covered outdoor veranda that can accommodate many, many people. Definitely worth a visit and try for the pizza, appetizers, and meat, even for special dietary needs. The staff are impeccable in their service, as are all the staff and the owners. Thank you for the thoughtfulness and attention they gave me last night! Thanks again, and definitely stop by if you're in the Martina Franca area!

19/10/2025: It rarely happens that I want to write a review after the second bite. And this evening, it happened. Excellent pizza, sublime, quality ingredients, perfect cooking, excellent dough. Fantastic pizza alla norma!! Congratulations! We always happily return every year after the wedding fair, and every year it gets better. Excellent service, impeccable cleanliness. The only flaw?!? You're too far for us, since we come from Manduria 😅

I tried the potato with meat and zucchini tartare. The quality and cooking of the potato were impeccable, and the meat was very fresh and tender, which is always a guarantee in Piedmont. I will definitely return for my next work appointments, but in the meantime, I recommend this place for a relaxing experience and good food, alone or in company. Thank you

18/10/2025: Disclaimer: I love this place; we come several times a year. I have no complaints about the quality of the food; on the contrary, it's all delicious, and they were incredibly kind because one of the girls had numerous allergies, so they were very accommodating. This time, however, when we went to the cashier to pay (we each wanted to pay for what we'd consumed, and there were four of us, not ten), the owner told us it wasn't possible: "You've had time to sit down," and that we could settle down later. We stayed longer than the reservation time, that's true. It's also true that if a table had been served, we would have gotten up without a problem, but that wasn't the case. So I don't understand this kind of "retaliation." We'll definitely be back because the food and staff are excellent, but this, to be honest, left us a little perplexed.
