15/03/2025: A jewel in the centre of Catania. Upon entering, you are immediately pulled back in time to a world since gone by. A time when the Lords and Nobles quite rightly ruled over the plebians. A time where one man's hard earned birthright was not so unjustly taken by the state. If I could go back in time, I would be lucky just to be a lowly servant if it meant I could wonder these halls and bask in the Moncada Paternò Castello aura. Truely magnífico!

11/11/2024: My husband and I spent two nights in Taoromina and both nights we ate at Al Giardino! Everything we ate was incredible! The Marsala chicken with a side of vegetables - outstanding! Impossibly moist chicken. Tagliatelle with red prawn and pistachio - unlike anything we’ve eaten in Italy and so delicious! Spaghetti with anchovies and fried bread - oh my god I will be dreaming of this dish! So comforting and very umami! And of course the eggplant parmigiana! Unbelievably flavourful and so meaty. Definitely try it! The minestrone and meatballs were also fantastic! Great service! Everyone was super attentive and kind. A true gem of a spot and I hope to return one day! Grazie!

25/01/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant-steakhouse and was really satisfied. The meat is excellent, cooked to perfection, and the menu also offers typical dishes of the Roman tradition, all tasty and well presented. The atmosphere is quiet and welcoming, typical of a classic trattoria, ideal for relaxing and enjoying a good meal. The service is impeccable: the staff is kind, attentive and always available. The selection of wines is also excellent, which pairs perfectly with the dishes. The prices are average and absolutely justified by the quality of the dishes. The only sore point is a slight smell of smoke inside, due to the cooking of the meat, but it doesn't ruin the overall experience too much. A recommended place for those looking for authentic, quality cuisine in a quiet and easily accessible environment.

02/03/2025: Such a great place! The food was amazing, I got the pasta alla Nerano and my friends got the Margarita Pizza! The waiter Christopher was so funny and delivered the best service in Europe that I’ve had so far! He recommended the rum cake dessert with lemon custard and it was delicious! Really great prices as well!

09/02/2025: A fixed point in your Saturday shopping, historic bakery in the Telesina Valley which offers many products, from sweet to savory, from taralli to various types of bread. Excellent people, capable, hard workers. What to recommend? Everything, in particular the bread with yellow flour (reserve it if you need it), the taralli and the pizza by the slice. And don't worry if there is a few minutes to wait for the many customers, if there are, it means that the products are good, continuously prepared and always fresh.

15/02/2025: Immersed in a fairytale village, an enchanted place that seems suspended in time, this place deserves top marks for its location alone. The context is perfect for those looking for a relaxing experience, away from the chaos and immersed in a dream atmosphere. The menu is full of interesting proposals, with a variety of choices to satisfy every palate. We opted for the six-course tasting menu, at a cost of €50 per person, and we were pampered from first to last course. Each course was a small journey into taste, with balanced flavors and quality ingredients. A special compliment also goes to the staff, professional and attentive, capable of making our lunch even more pleasant. The attention to detail and care of the service made the experience even more special.

13/02/2025: Had the best lunch. Still dreaming about the melanzane parmigiana and the red cabbage pasta. Very special place, great atmosphere, great service and not touristy at all. Would come back anytime.

04/02/2025: We are on holiday in Rivazzurra di Rmini and after spending the morning on the beach, we decide to book at this restaurant, on the beach at Bagno 124. The staff were immediately very friendly and helpful. Let's take two first courses, invidia and passatelli matti: a meeting of exquisitely crafted flavors prepared with care and skill. Abundant dishes with reasonable waiting times. Really excellent! Then a pasta with tomato sauce for our child and then we also tried their piadina with Parma ham and mozzarella, very tasty indeed. Two glasses of white wine to accompany, some bottles of water and two coffees. I think the €61 bill is fair and in relation to the quality of the service offered and the raw materials. Compliments! Advised.
