As soon as you enter, you're immediately captivated by the truly unique decor: a charming mix of period pieces, vintage objects, and details reminiscent of the 1970s (and even earlier!). It's impossible not to be intrigued and spend a few minutes admiring every little detail: it almost feels like a journey back in time. The cuisine doesn't disappoint either. The dishes are carefully crafted, original, and prepared with often unusual ingredients, but always paired with taste and balance. Each course tells a story and showcases the passion of those who cook. The staff is extremely kind, friendly, and always smiling: you immediately sense a familiar and welcoming atmosphere that puts you at ease. A warm, pleasant, and characterful atmosphere, perfect for a relaxed dinner or an evening out of the ordinary. 13/10/2025: Breathtaking location with a large terrace overlooking the sea. Excellent for weddings and lavish ceremonies. The staff and services are well-managed. I'd say it's very beautiful, with ample parking and an interesting selection of local wines.

07/10/2025: The food was good but I think nothing exceptional. If you mix it with the view the restaurant has I assure you that you will have a nice time :) We arrive shortly after it was sundown and even at night we had a pleasant time. Service also excellent :)

24/11/2025: We found it by chance and were warmly welcomed by the very kind and helpful staff. The tuna was top-quality, paired wonderfully with vegetables and passion fruit; while the roast veal was so tender it melted in your mouth. We were satisfied. The quality/price ratio was also excellent.

07/12/2025: A surprise! Luckily, even though it was Saturday, we were able to book. We weren't familiar with this restaurant, but it surprised us with its attention to detail, despite its large seating capacity, the inventiveness of the dishes (the desserts were incredible!), and the attention to flavor combinations and plating. Very good value. We'll be back!

19/10/2025: “Incipit” is almost a hidden gem, tucked away from the busy High Street and tourist-heavy areas. This spot comes highly recommended by locals — and for good reason. It has a gorgeous outdoor terrace with views over the piazza, but the real wow factor comes when you choose to dine indoors… in the cave! Yes, a beautifully lit, cosy cave with an incredible atmosphere that makes the whole experience feel special. The service was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The menu is fantastic, offering a perfect mix of local favourites and creative twists. We went all out and enjoyed the full experience: antipasto, primo, and secondo. The tuna tartare was outstanding, bursting with freshness and flavour. I had the Fileja al ’Nduja ragu, which was absolutely mind-blowing — and high on my Calabria culinary wish list. My partner chose the hazelnut risotto, which was equally exceptional. For mains, I had the pistachio-crusted seabass while my partner had the cod — both dishes beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended if you want an authentic, high-quality dining experience away from the tourist traps. Grazie mille per il fantastico servizio 🙏👌👏

12/12/2025: I went to this place for a karaoke night with friends, and I have to say it was a really fun experience! The atmosphere is welcoming, with soft lighting and a relaxed vibe that immediately puts you at ease. The staff is friendly and helpful.

21/11/2025: The name says it all! This place specializes exclusively (I want to emphasize this) in soups, with no other dishes except dessert. The soups change daily, which shows they always use fresh ingredients. You can check the website. I went for lunch; it was easy to find a table, but it's always best to reserve. I had beans and pork rind... incredible! I'll definitely be back!
