01/01/2025: We had a family New Year's Eve dinner. From aperitif to dessert, it was a treat. Magnificent flavors, presentation of the dishes, it’s unforgettable! The decoration of the restaurant, the welcome and the advice, it was perfect! Thank you Ivana and Giuseppe for giving us a very good end of year evening. I will recommend your establishment to our French friends! We will come back!

24/09/2024: Retrogusto is a hidden diamond in the heart of the town, perfect for lovers of good wine and refined cuisine. You are welcomed by an elegant, romantic environment and a warm and refined atmosphere. The menu offers a selection of dishes prepared using excellent quality ingredients, with particular attention to local and seasonal products. Don't miss the stuffed courgette flowers, a real delight. But the real protagonist is the selection of wines, all personally selected by the Sommelier, Sara, who passionately discovers the milestones of local companies and beyond. The service is top notch starting from Sara who always proves competent and able to accompany you through the choice between hundreds of labels, finding the right pairing for every palate. As if that wasn't enough, the place is also equipped with a decent selection of Gin and liqueurs, perfect for those who want to experiment with new flavors and for once move away from the usual gin and tonic, or the usual coffee killer. In short, Retrogusto is a high-level sensory experience, a treat worth treating yourself to. A perfect place both to relax and to celebrate an important evening.

10/02/2025: Now my go-to restaurant. The pizza is very good both in terms of dough and cooking. Fish always good, fresh and well prepared. I recommend the seafood trio, an excellent and complete starter. Excellent prices for the quality and quantity served. I go back whenever I can

23/02/2025: We were in Volterra and we decided to eat here a bit by chance, we really liked the "mixed" platter. I then had the pici with white Cinta Senese ragù, very good! The garlic ones were also appreciated. We also liked the desserts, we had the strawberry panna cotta and the tiramisu. Prices a little high, but understandable given that the area is touristy.

20/01/2025: Tiny place on Casilina, in Anagni. They are primarily focused on takeout and delivery, but have some seating. The pizza is very good, even if they don't have a wood oven. This does not mean that the dough is light and digestible, the tomato is sweet and the mozzarella is always good. Even the fried foods do not disappoint (especially the pasta omelette). I go there relatively often with my family (unfortunately it's far from home...).

27/02/2025: Absolutely recommended! Welcoming staff, dedicated to explaining the dishes (they also bring a platter of fresh pasta to show the various formats). A place which shows a strong personality which is skilfully reflected in the dishes, which are simply exquisite!

08/02/2025: Truly innovative place, well furnished. Not to mention the dishes we took, all delicious and special. The staff is very helpful and pleasant. As soon as we entered they showed us their first homemade products, explaining what they were and how they made them. It was truly a perfect lunch :) We were also surprised that the coffee was made with a moka pot, bonus points :) We will be back!

22/02/2025: A real discovery! We chose the dishes of the day: homemade pappardelle with radicchio, gorgonzola and walnuts and pasta and beans. Never eaten so well in Emilia! They also surprised us with the tortellino-shaped crescentine filled with cheese. We also chose the tomino with caramelized onion and Jewish-style artichokes. But the real gem is the place, the interior and garden are a museum full of vintage objects to explore! Super kind and welcoming owners, we felt at home… We will be back ❤️❤️

27/01/2025: Delicious food and quite affordable prices. Friendly staff. The only downside is that when you first arrive, it is a bit chaotic. You have to take your own cutlery, pick up your plates, you don't really know how to order, where to pay, etc. Still, I recommend giving it a try. It is economical and delicious.

28/02/2025: I enjoyed my entire experience at Fratelli Torcinelli. The service was wonderful and the food was amazing. We had ordered several plates to share and everything we ate was so good! Really enjoyed the mini pancake and goat milk cheesecake for dessert! Highly recommend visiting here. It is affordable and definitely worth it!
