18/06/2025: Excellent food. We were four people and had four different dishes, each one better than the last. Highly recommended, and if there's a line or wait, don't worry; tables turn over quickly and they don't take more than 15 minutes to call you. The Trastevere area is charming.

21/06/2025: We booked a room as we were cycling to Ortisei. The rooms were very clean, the location very quiet, and the restaurant was truly 10/10.

19/06/2025: Stayed one night and had dinner in the restaurant. The rooms themselves are quite spacious, which was nice. We had two windows which had a nice view of the area and brought in a nice breeze, which was essential as the air conditioning was nonexistent. Bathroom also pretty large. Check-in was easy enough and they had ample parking. It's a little bit out of the way and certainly not walkable to town, but that's what we expected for a rifugio. For convenience, we ate dinner in the restaurant, which was actually more crowded than I was expecting. The dishes were good, nothing really so memorable but hit the spot. We got: fried artichokes (nice sauce, great presentation), tagliatelle with mushrooms (I quite enjoyed the butteriness of the pasta and the chunks of a mushroom I don't typically eat), beet ravioli (interesting texture, enjoyed the brown butter sauce), and the ossobuco (tender, sizable portion of meat, enjoyed the polenta). We asked for recommendations for dessert and went with the kaiserschmarren-not a dish I've had before and I didn't quite care for it and found it to be a bit bland but maybe that's what it is supposed to be. One thing I didn't quite understand about the hotel is that the lights for each floor seem to turn off immediately so when you enter a new floor you have to turn them on each time. This wasn't such a big deal but for example when I was carrying drinks upstairs, it became a bit difficult to see where I was going. Breakfast the morning we left was simple but had enough for anyone to find what they'd want. Service was super pleasant, helpful, made for an easy stay.

29/05/2025: We organized the lunch to celebrate dad/grandpa's 90th birthday. It was a surprise and it was a perfect success also with the complicity of the waiter who acted like an actor. They were available for everything, from guests with special dietary needs, they are organized for celiacs, vegetarians and vegans. They also welcomed our furry friends without any problems. They even prepared the dessert with candles 9 and 0 and best wishes. Last but not least we were also allowed to use the maxi confetti shooters for the final bang. Perfect and complete hospitality. The food was delicious, the wine too, the service excellent. thanks for everything and for everything. If we return to these parts we will certainly come to lunch at your place.

26/05/2025: Pranzo di famiglia per 16. Molto bene accolti. Andrea, giovane ma esperto e cordiale, assieme allo staff, ha assecondato le nostre richieste di festeggiamento, sempre sorridente. Il menù ampio a saputo accontentare tutti e, anche se non certificato, ha gestito egregiamente e con professionalità, il menù senza glutine.

05/06/2025: 1) Great food and wine 2) A lovely atmosphere 3) Very pleasant, knowledgeable staff 4) Open on Mondays for dinner. I started with an excellent spaghetti, with a sauce of cooked down yellow cherry tomatoes, stracciatella cheese (what's inside burrata) and bread crumbs. My partner had green pasta raviolis filled with ricotta and seasonal herbs. We split a tenderloin of deer for our main course (which they served on two separate plates without us asking them do that... a bonus). We had glasses of a very nice Lagrein wine from Alto Adige and we finished with a classic tiramisu and a coffee. Antico Guelfo was one of the two best restaurants of this trip.

25/06/2025: Norcia... You don't pass by chance, you have to want to get there. If you then stop to eat, you begin to love it. The city is still wounded, after nine years you can still see the signs, but the people are special. I stopped in this tavern with my family, I ate and I had a great time. Informal atmosphere; attentive, friendly and professional staff; good home-made dishes: platters of cured meats and cheeses obviously, good choice of traditional first and second courses. Everything was delicious. Prices much more than fair, highly recommended. On the central avenue of Norcia, immediately after the entrance gate to the historic center.

05/06/2025: We had a wonderful time at this Estate. Surrounded by greenery and away from noisy roads, good food and fresh breakfast. The staff is exceptionally helpful and the property is located just a few minutes from many crystal clear sea locations. I will definitely be back

04/06/2025: We celebrated the wedding of dear friends on Monday, June 2nd. The location is spectacular, surrounded by greenery with a well-kept swimming pool. Everything was perfect, but in particular I would like to highlight the high professionalism and kindness of the hall manager, Mr. Marco, both towards us and towards his collaborators. Congratulations indeed. 5+++

17/05/2025: Located in the heart of Pinerolo, Trattoria Zappatori confirms itself as one of the most refined and surprising realities of the Piedmontese gastronomic scene. With a well-deserved Michelin star, this restaurant succeeds in the non-trivial feat of combining the profound identity of traditional cuisine with the courage of innovation. Our experience for my birthday with the “Breakfast for work” tasting menu (with the addition of some off-menu items) was a brilliant demonstration of this philosophy. From the small initial amuse-bouche to the final dessert, the path is coherent, without excess, but with flashes of originality that surprise and stimulate the palate. Particularly noteworthy was the first course, where the tradition of fresh pasta was combined with a sauce with unexpected nuances, a perfect balance between comfort food and research. The environment is elegant but not excessively formal, with an authentic warmth that immediately puts you at ease. The staff is attentive, friendly and well-prepared in guiding the guest through the proposals of chef Christian Milone, whose touch is perceived in every detail, from the plating to the balance of flavors.

09/05/2025: We had the privilege of dining at Trattoria Zappatori, choosing the 6 modern course tasting menu, created by chef Christian Milone and focused on the valorisation of hazelnuts and eggs, two symbolic ingredients of the Piedmontese territory, reinterpreted with creativity and precision. The selection of wines, curated with great professionalism by the sommelier for each individual course, was impeccable. Friendly, attentive and gifted with surprising intuition, she was able to enhance each dish with perfectly calibrated combinations, adding a personal touch that made the experience even more special. We had the pleasure of dining in the secluded room overlooking the Zen garden, characterized by a modern fireplace which helped create an intimate and elegant atmosphere, perfect for celebrating our anniversary. A space that made the evening even more memorable. Each course was a journey through innovative flavours, with a presentation taken care of down to the smallest details, an expression of the mastery of the chef and his team. A true homage to Piedmontese cuisine reinterpreted in a modern key, capable of surprising and conquering even the most demanding palates. I highly recommend this experience to those who want to discover the more sophisticated and modern side of Piedmontese cuisine, accompanied by a high level of service made possible by the dining room staff who are extremely attentive to everything.
