20/06/2026: Introduction. I love informal places with traditional fare. We announced our visit to Trieste as tourists, and the warm welcome from Trieste immediately kicked in. The cocktail menu was explained, with recommendations for local products and plenty of cicchetti. A successful aperitif with my grandchildren and daughters. Highly recommended.

13/08/2026: It's a "cantina" (a type of informal eatery) where you can choose from more substantial dishes on the menu, as well as vegetables and breaded meat from the counter. Very typical; you can tell the locals come here to eat. There were five of us, and it only took five minutes for a table to be freed up for us. You can hear the hustle and bustle of the kitchen, but you can still have a conversation. Very friendly staff and fantastic food. Plus, the prices are very good. 100% recommended!

The service was prompt, even when there were many customers.
The wait staff was courteous and helpful.
Salvatore, in particular, was truly kind, friendly, and professional, and offered a dessert that we thoroughly enjoyed.

Went for their "classic" dishes tastIng menu while my wife chose à la carte. The carpaccio of scallop with rosé sauce and scallop roe mayonnaise is one of the best things I've ever eaten. Desserts great too (we had the millefeuille to share) - with a wide choice of liqueurs.
If you don't like fish/seafood then go somewhere else but if you do then you will not regret coming here. The atmosphere in the restaurant is homely and quiet. Children welcome.

The wide selection of whiskeys is also noteworthy, truly interesting and carefully curated, making the place a must-visit for spirits enthusiasts. The selection is impressive and allows you to discover diverse and unique labels.
The staff was extremely kind, helpful, and professional, helping make the experience even more enjoyable. Overall, a place I would recommend without hesitation to anyone in Trieste: excellent food, high-quality beers, a wide selection of whiskeys, and a wonderful atmosphere.

13/08/2026: We stopped by this lovely place and were absolutely delighted by their selection of delicious pastries and warm drinks. The entire café has a super cute, pink-themed interior that creates a really cozy and charming atmosphere.
The service staff was extremely friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. On top of that, a really cool highlight was having our order delivered directly to our table by a robot, which was such a unique and fun touch!
It was exceptionally hot outside when we visited, so we were immensely grateful for their strong and perfectly functioning air conditioning. Excellent value for money overall—we had a fantastic time and would definitely recommend stopping by!

12/08/2026: Stumbled upon this restaurant and very glad we did. The food was absolutely amazing, we had the meatball trapizzino as well as the double cream one with anchovies and they were both delicious. We liked it so much we are still thinking about it days later alongside their tiramisu and croquettes (we tried one of each)!
It was a very reasonably priced and the waitress was lovely.
If you’re in Trieste we’d definitely recommend taking them time to visit.
12/08/2026: Typical spot where you can get the ends of an open-faced, stuffed pizza. Molto buono pasta, a great place to stop. The waitress was friendly and attentive.
