06/07/2025: The menu is richer than the one indicated because they have trapizzini and supplì that vary. Excellent supplì mushrooms and sausage and croquettes potatoes and cod. Very good trapizzino chicken alla cacciatora. Very good desserts, all made by them. They also do take away and home delivery.
04/07/2025: Very good service, which explained all the flavors one by one. Full of flavor, simply delicious. There are also vegetarian options.

03/09/2025: I'm giving it 4 stars only perhaps because the service isn't very dynamic, but it's partly our fault, as we're used to everything being served right away. We asked the reception at the bed and breakfast for a place where locals go to eat; they recommended this trattoria, and we were largely satisfied. We're both not particularly fit for health reasons, so we ordered grilled sea bass, well-cooked and deboned, along with a side dish, water, and dessert.
Highly recommend.

06/09/2025: A restaurant a short distance from the center, which is not expensive. The food here is mainly Italian cuisine, which is different from other restaurants in Trieste. Carbonara is a truly luxurious dish that I recommend. Of course, you can also find dishes associated with Slovenian culture (Ljubljanska pljeskavica).
The service is nice, the kitchen is semi-open. Beautiful environment with a typical Italian touch. If you like the smell of cheese and mature salami, this is the ideal place for you.
03/09/2025: Very good dishes with excellent wine. Good espresso and a coffee to finish. Fast and friendly service. Price vs. quality very much in favor of quality. Highly recommended.

The decor and ambiance are extravagantly playful, and you immediately feel at home.
The service was very attentive and helpful.
We were also thrilled with the food. Very well-made and prepared with love. The wine list also has a wide selection and good advice.

28/08/2025: Take a map from the information center, it will help you find your way around. Definitely do not take the Friendship Trail, because from the border to the Slovenian interior the roads are poorly marked and the landscape is mostly uninteresting (you are still walking through the forest).

19/08/2025: Very nice pizzeria with a wood-fired oven, modern and cozy interior. Unassuming from the outside, and unfortunately, no outdoor seating (but that's not always possible in a big city). Centrally located near the castle. We found the pizza very good and felt completely at home. We'd gladly return if we ever come back to Trieste.

07/09/2025: Great restaurant! We were afraid of falling into a tourist trap (being French), but the pasta is delicious—real pasta carbonara—and it's not too expensive.
4 stars, not 5 because we were a little disappointed with the tiramisu (foam not frothy/light enough, coffee quite bitter), but the biscuits were well soaked.
Don't hesitate!

Small restaurant with a single man serving and attending to the needs of the guests. exquisite cuisine .. worthy of at least a Michelin star, special creations and an After Eight dessert .. unique ... they made my daughter's day a real celebration. Highly recommend.

12/09/2025: A perfect Irish pub for a night out with friends. Very clean, tastefully decorated, and with impeccable service: friendly and helpful staff. The beers are excellent, and the food is equally impressive: excellent burgers and delicious cheddar and bacon fries.
11/09/2025: Trieste's Temple of Beer. A welcoming and distinctive atmosphere, with wooden furniture and dark, intimate pub-like tones. The food quality is truly remarkable, and the beer selection is vast and varied, though there are some consistent favorites, like Chimay. The service is meticulously crafted, and there's a respectable selection of spirits. The bartender is approachable and approachable, like the bartenders of old. The experience is worth the price.
