I had the pleasure, thanks to a company, of being invited to lunch in this wonderful location. They welcomed us with a spectacular entrée... appetizer with octopus... difficult to explain but a work of art to the eye and the palate. Pasta with spider crab and datterino tomatoes... everything perfect. Important flavors... very fresh and tasty raw materials. Friendly staff... attentive.. a real discovery and new favorite place to eat fish in Trieste!!!

Kind, gentle and professional treatment. I have celebrated an anniversary, and very well. Very good food, and wine from the ideal region for fish. A charming place, highly recommended. Marta and David, from Barcelona.

We took part in "Murder Dinner", very nice, good actors and very entertaining But unfortunately our enthusiasm was extinguished when the food arrived at the table cold or did not arrive or was not served together: in a table of 4 3 risottos arrived together and for the 4th we had to wait more than 10 minutes as well as the bread basket....or the request for a bottle of wine....We are very sorry to say it but we were shocked by the lack of attention paid to the service by the waiters in a historic place like Tommaseo. What a shame!!

Davvero un bel pranzo in questo ristorante, stile antico e raffinato, qualità del cibo indubbiamente buona però.. c’è un però.. il fatto che si faccia “menu pranzo” in un posto dove i piatti costano minimo 20/30 euro l’uno stona un filo, oltremodo il servizio risulta un po’ lento nonostante il locale sia ad 1/3 della sua pienezza. Concludo dicendo che comunque è davvero un bel ristorante e si mangia bene.

Ristorante romantico ed elegante in una struttura storica di Trieste, la cena è stata ottima e di qualità (a base di carne e pesce), gli operatori di sala di una gentilezza squisita unita alla professionalità. Sicuramente torneremo e ci sentiamo di consigliarlo. I prezzi sono medio-alti, poi dipende da ciò che si ordina.

01/04/2024: I recently stayed in the hotel. Highly recommended for the refined and modern interior furnishings, friendly, helpful and very professional staff. Excellent dinner and breakfast!! If I happen to be in Trieste again I will definitely return
