14/03/2025: Non siamo rimasti soddisfatti, al servizio che è stato cortese e gentile le porzioni erano molto scarse e di qualità ordinaria.

25/02/2025: And yes, I understood the "format" correctly. We wanted a hearty soup on a cold, windy day. The soup was good, but there wasn't much of it. The service was friendly and the place was family-run, despite the fact that the lady looked at us sternly as she distributed our waste in the designated bins and the ceramic soup bowls in the storage room. We wouldn't return, simply because we left hungry after paying over 22 euros for two soups, two small pieces of bread, and a small bottle of water. The price seemed excessive for what we got.

12/08/2025: The pizza was cold, runny and tasteless. This is not Italy.

09/08/2025: Hikers, if you come to Muggia, get a pizza here and sit on the pier to watch the sunset. Friendly, fast, and delicious... the best pizza of the trip... although I wouldn't even have to choose... PORCINI... the best of all pizzas

06/05/2025: Service was super friendly. Food was very good. Ambience is great. We can highly recommend this restaurant.

25/04/2025: Al David is a wine bar with kitchen where you eat divinely and immediately feel like you're among friends. The cuisine is excellent, refined and creative, and Sami is a true marvel: energy, passion and hospitality in one person. From 1st to 30th April it hosts the Le vie delle Foto exhibition, which can be visited during opening hours. Go ahead guys! A place that combines taste, heart and culture.

16/08/2025: Change the employees. The sales assistants behind the counter are terrible: zero kindness and even annoyed. The desserts, on the other hand, are 10/10. Kudos to the quality and choice of ingredients.

16/08/2025: We stopped to buy some decent pastries... nothing memorable. But the most disarming thing was the crudeness of the clerk who served us... rude and uncouth, but how can you put someone with that attitude at the counter?!? Never again.

26/08/2025: 3 meter-sized Margherita pizzas ordered at Barcola, there were 20 of us. A box was left there intact!! The pizza was dry, the tomato sauce wasn't even visible, and the mozzarella was rubbery!!! Highly not recommended!!!

16/07/2025: Reasonable prices and great deals for the product they offer, compared to other places that are expensive and offer a worthless product. They even get Prosecco for €1. What can I say? I'll definitely order again in the future.

14/05/2025: The place is nice near the Maggiore hospital. I wanted to eat a sandwich with tongue so we stopped here. Unfortunately the tongue was hard and a good part of it had nerves (not being very cooked they remained hard instead of melting). We reported the problem...and the answer was that another customer had also had it and had not complained!!!! I have eaten tongue in many other places here in Trieste and I have to say that here they really don't know how to make it. Maybe they will be good on the rest...I hope so!!

16/07/2025: El personal no está contento o servicial. Visité el restaurante hoy, y todo se sentía demasiado para ser servido. La experiencia de visitar fue arruinada por la actitud del personal y no podía ser molestado con el servicio. Se pidieron bebidas extras y nunca aparecieron. Los clientes eran rechazados selectivamente y no se les permitía sentarse fuera. No volvería a visitarte. Como nota positiva la comida era encantadora. El personal de camarera no está haciendo el negocio ninguna justificación. Los clientes son un inconveniente

14/07/2025: La pizza era buena, pero el servicio era terrible - camarero muy desagradable, trajeron 1 L de vino en lugar de 1/2 , a pesar de que especifiqué 3 veces quiero 1/2 el litro, e incluso fue grosero que no hay necesidad de repetir, lo consigue. Al final nos cobraron 3 desiertos que no comimos - 19 € más. Pagué con tarjeta y me devolvieron 19 € en efectivo sin ningún problema, lo que significa que esta es una práctica estándar.

07/08/2025: I was in Trieste (a very pretty city where I ate well everywhere) and I had the best croissant of my life. Then I had a delicious dessert whose name I can't remember.

17/05/2025: ... era quello che cercavamo, spritz, tramezzini, dolcetto e un ottimo caffé per un veloce spuntino a pranzo. Frequentazione locale, professionalità, ottimo.

05/09/2025: I had the focaccia with kebab. It was made with kebab dough; it was anything but focaccia. I don't recommend it. It's the third time it's happened.

29/08/2025: Worst experience I've ever had. The sandwich had been made for a long time, the fries were cold and I threw them out of the sandwich. Even the cheese on the sandwich was dry, as if it had been made for 6-7 hours. As for the staff at the counter, they had no respect whatsoever, as if they'd never heard of politeness. I'd rather starve!!

11/06/2025: A vedersi sembra una modesta trattoria poi vai a cena e il cibo è veramente ottimo. Sicuramente ci torneremo ogni volta che passeremo da Trieste. SUPER TOP

03/06/2025: Ci siamo fermati a cena una sera in 8 per una cena completa. Malgrado ci fossero molti tavolini liberi ci hanno permesso di sederci solo unendo due minuscoli tavolini… capite che stavamo strettini!!! Il resto tutto buono anche in rapporto al prezzo. Peccato per i modi veramente pessimi del personale

22/08/2025: I've seen the rise and fall of this establishment! Once one of the best ice cream parlors in my city, the service is currently modest, to say the least, and that's another compliment. They don't even offer table service anymore, not to mention the ice creams 🧐which were once the flagship. It's a shame to say these things, but that's the reality 🤔

05/08/2025: Spectacular place with breathtaking views where you can relax with good wine and home-made food served with a generous dose of cheerfulness and typical Trieste friendliness. In the winter months, the internal room makes you feel at home.

05/08/2025: We come to this wonderful place very often for dinner and parties, as both the panoramic terrace and the interior are truly delightful. Livio and Diego are special people who make you feel at home with their warmth and authentic dishes.

08/08/2025: It's unthinkable that at 7:20 PM the girl at the counter tells us no, I have to close... I'm cleaning. That's not normal.

08/08/2025: Maybe it's time to write closed in the evening on the internet???? A little while ago my daughter and I went for dinner... (We've been to lunch many times and the food was really good) But at about 7:50 pm the lady was cleaning in the kitchen... we asked and she said we're closed 🙏🏽
