19/10/2025: As a Trieste native, Pane Quotidiano is always my favorite spot for coffee, always perfectly frothed. Today, Gabriel served me for the first time, and he even surpassed my already high standards for this chain. Extremely friendly despite the crowd, and the latte was excellent. I'll definitely be back.

26/10/2025: An excellent experience! The mixed antipasto was superb, not to mention the seafood. Fresh fish, beautifully cooked. Compliments to the chef!

10/10/2025: It's a simple, clean, and tidy trattoria. The staff is friendly and attentive. From the appetizers to the main courses, everything was superb; the fish was fresh and you could taste it. The house wine was good. For what we ate, we got what we deserved. If it had 6 stars, I would have given it 6. I'll gladly return.

24/08/2025: I ordered two takeout pizzas. When I got home, I was particularly struck by the microscopic size of the pizzas: they looked just like children's pizzas, with a smaller diameter. Convinced it was a mistake, I returned the next day to ask for clarification, but the owner confirmed that that's the size of the pizza they serve at their restaurant: "220 grams of dough," she specified. Now, I don't know exactly how many grams of dough are typically used to make a pizza in Italy, but I'd never been served such a small pizza, especially considering the restaurant's price range. The pizza wasn't bad, but it wasn't the best I've ever eaten. In short, a real shame, considering I recently moved around the corner and I'm a big pizza consumer (3-4 a week). I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

23/08/2025: Simply disappointed. The four of us waited 25 minutes before ordering, and we waited over an hour and a quarter. The first course arrived after another 8 minutes, the second after 4 minutes, the third, and finally, after another 18 minutes, the last course, which was fried calamari, which was boiled. Three pasta dishes arrived in over an hour. Half an hour after I ordered spaghetti with clams, the owner told me they were out of clams, so I chose the seafood sauce. It arrived incredibly spicy. I'm sorry, but I'm very disappointed. There were only two waiters in the dining room, and only one cook in the kitchen. It was too slow, too long a wait.

01/10/2025: Very nice cafe with coffee, gelato, cornetti, and other kinds of sweets. Cute round tables for two people. Three tables inside and six outside.

12/12/2025: The Tasty Basket came to €14.10 and wasn't quite there. They put 6 pieces of chicken and 5 nuggets in it, and the rest was forgotten by the service. I didn't think it was worth €14.10. A terrible experience, not recommended. This happened at 9:38 PM.

25/08/2026: A historic café in the heart of Trieste, ideal for a break with coffee, desserts, and an aperitif. The pastry shop is excellent, offering several typical Trieste specialties and a nice selection of sweet and savory treats. The place is elegant and pleasant, with a great location in the city center. The aperitif, accompanied by appetizers, is also delicious. A place worth trying, especially to savor the tradition of Trieste's pastry making and experience the atmosphere of one of the city's historic establishments. Recommended!

21/08/2026: Gem of a place. Great atmosphere which is brought about by the chef, his wife, the intimate setting and the great jazz music played. Delicious and skilled food. We loved every minute of the 4 part surprise menu which was mainly fish based. The home made pasta was delicious. The chef and his wife have great warm personalities which adds to the whole experience. We enjoyed watching the chef interact with the customers. He seemed to really relish what he was doing and was checking in to see were we all enjoying the food. Everything was wonderful. A privilege. Great quality and great rare experience.

01/05/2026: My go-to sushi spot for the past 3 years—and it never disappoints. The fish is always incredibly fresh, every roll is packed with flavor, and the quality is consistently top tier. The lunch menu is especially impressive: great variety, generous portions, and very affordable for the level of food you get. I’ll add photos, but the dishes really speak for themselves.
