The prices are surprisingly affordable, especially considering the generous portions and the attention to detail dedicated to each dish. 21/09/2025: I enter this bar-restaurant, order a five-euro drink, and the owner refuses to let me pay by card and won't let me consume what I ordered. Among other things, she arrogantly and rudely says that she makes the law.
Perhaps she doesn't understand that it's 2025 and that the law allows for the possibility of paying any amount with electronic payments. I strongly advise against coming here and will report the incident to the relevant authorities.

09/11/2025: It's a shame the staff was inattentive, because the coffee and pastries were good.
The women's restroom was out of order, and the men's restroom was filthy. A regular customer reported that it had been out of order for quite some time.
07/11/2025: A café that doesn't serve hot chocolate in the fall, oh well. I get a cappuccino and the milk is a little sour. Never mind, Trieste has no shortage of cafés.

01/01/2026: I had a bombardino with whipped cream, the only thing was 6 euros, when at the bar further ahead you pay 4.50 with cream.
18/08/2025: Highly recommended and easy, as you simply check off all the ingredients for your bowl on a slip of paper and hand it in. It's great if you're not very good at communicating. The food was really delicious, and I think the portion sizes are reasonable for the price.

10/03/2026: Home delivery. Ordered twice. The first time was an hour late. The second time was half an hour late, even though I called at 6 PM when they opened. Pizzeria with good ingredients. The dough didn't rise much, as it's very thirsty. Price was reasonable. Overall, decent, except for the service.
11/01/2026: The pizzas are delicious, but if we order a "bufalina," we expect a "margherita with buffalo mozzarella"... But no. Pizza with shaved parmesan and arugula.
I even called back, and they told me this is the "bufalina." 😂😂 It takes a lot of courage to run a pizzeria.

01/12/2025: First of all, it's unacceptable for a pizzeria to ignore the existence of the Spianata Calabra. As for the location, it leaves a lot to be desired, and doesn't offer much hope for the hygiene of the premises (and yes, there's not even seating). Furthermore, the pizzas underneath were practically charred, because the pizza chef was obviously more intent on his phone playing music than on the oven. Needless to say, I saw you scrape the bottoms of them like there was no tomorrow when you took them out.
The fact is, my partner and I ordered two pizzas last night, and today we're throwing unwanted liquids out of every place we want to go.
Thanks, Pizzeria da Caio, first and last time.

27/12/2025: For years and generations now, whenever we leave Turin for a few days in Albugnano, we have frequented this restaurant, always satisfied with the quality of the food, the kindness, and the prompt, courteous service. We have also eaten here with my 100-year-old grandmother and have always found the service to be friendly and welcoming. Kudos to all the staff, Alessandro, Giulia, and Vanda.
13/11/2025: The atmosphere is rustic, and I like it that way. The food is excellent and well-cooked. The staff is very polite and friendly. Highly recommended.
