07/05/2026: Fish restaurant with a lovely terrace overlooking Trieste. Reservations are recommended. The service isn't the fastest, but very friendly; expect a bit of a wait, but hey, you're on vacation, so what? We're not big fish and seafood eaters, but the antipasti misti, fritto misto, and spaghetti vongole were excellent, and the house wine was superb. It was lovely.

01/05/2026: The terrace is right on the sea, and the staff is courteous and friendly. The menu features a varied selection of fresh seafood, prepared in an original way. Highly recommended.

16/02/2026: Quite disappointed... From the reviews I'd read, it seemed like a fabulous place to eat! Maybe we had too high expectations, but we went for lunch yesterday. We had a cold mixed appetizer for two, and it was freezing, not cold! Right out of the fridge, everything tasted the same (octopus, shrimp, etc.) without any seasoning, so much so that we had to ask for oil and salt to add some flavor... One oyster for two, impossible to share!!! And then we wanted to try the much-lauded seafood pasta: well, as soon as it was placed on the table, a smell of minestrone wafted in... the tomato sauce was probably thinned with stock cubes, which was nothing special. The fish was in the middle, some pieces were good, others, like the squid, were so tough and rubbery that they were inedible. We didn't have dessert, just a coffee: actually, two, and both undrinkable! I think they were the worst coffees I've ever had!!!! The staff is so-so, friendly, but unless you dare ask for something different or make a joke, they immediately get angry... In short, I wouldn't go back!! Only the price was at least decent....

02/05/2026: For 40 minutes they were serving outside, telling me to be patient, she's alone, very puenissimo. Only one person serving, disorganized and rude 🤬

27/03/2026: At this typical pizzeria in old Trieste, we were greeted warmly by a very knowledgeable waitress. Even though we arrived at rush hour, we didn't wait long, and best of all, we ate two delicious pizzas: the dough and ingredients were top-notch!

01/01/2026: I had a bombardino with whipped cream, the only thing was 6 euros, when at the bar further ahead you pay 4.50 with cream.

18/08/2025: Highly recommended and easy, as you simply check off all the ingredients for your bowl on a slip of paper and hand it in. It's great if you're not very good at communicating. The food was really delicious, and I think the portion sizes are reasonable for the price.

27/12/2025: For years and generations now, whenever we leave Turin for a few days in Albugnano, we have frequented this restaurant, always satisfied with the quality of the food, the kindness, and the prompt, courteous service. We have also eaten here with my 100-year-old grandmother and have always found the service to be friendly and welcoming. Kudos to all the staff, Alessandro, Giulia, and Vanda.

17/02/2026: I've been ordering pizza from Mangiafuoco for years and only get it from them. Excellent products. I've tried various pizzas and they're all delicious. Fast delivery and they're super friendly.

04/05/2026: Very disappointing. We wanted to eat and drink there. First, we had to wait ages before we were even served. Then I (!) asked for the menu. Then another endless wait to place our order. After 10 minutes, they finally asked about drinks because the waitress realized she'd forgotten. My spaghetti arrived after 45 minutes, but my husband's pizza didn't because she'd mixed up the orders. At that point, we still didn't have our drinks, even though we'd pointed it out several times. After another 20 minutes, I went inside and saw that she was about to prepare the frozen pizza. I stopped the whole thing and just paid for the spaghetti. The people at the next table got up and left immediately. So, that was a complete disaster. And when you read the owners' responses to reviews, you can't help but draw your own conclusions.

07/05/2026: Typical downtown McDonald's. There's a small line, and the way orders are taken is also handled in an interesting way. You can't ask for a table, and the server occasionally clears all active orders on the display, then randomly says the numbers, mostly in Italian, rarely in English.

05/05/2026: Stopped by this morning for a coffee. The croissants look like this, not much to say. I also visited the store on Via Flavia last week, where I was served a Nutella muffin that was frozen inside. I politely asked if I could have another, but the girl microwaved it and it had become rubbery.

03/05/2026: Really excellent pizza, and other dishes and delicacies. The service was good, and Caio was a wonderful person.

30/04/2026: It was our go-to pizzeria for many years, as we live nearby. The pizzas are excellent, but we've had two unpleasant experiences, and unfortunately, we'll never order again. The first time, we ordered more than 10 pizzas, which arrived 2.5 hours after we'd ordered them. We called several times, and each time we were told the pizzas were in the oven right then and there... then 40 minutes would pass and they never arrived. The most unpleasant thing was the person on the phone who said, "You've obviously never worked in a pizzeria before," and hung up on me. The owner (who is very kind) apologized, so we figured it was just a "bad night." The last time, however, we ordered again, asking for the pizzas to be delivered after 8:00 PM, and... they arrived more than half an hour early. We're not just looking for good pizza, but also professionalism. What a shame.
