30/04/2026: We have visited this restaurant/pizzeria for over 25 years. We have always found it to be an excellent choice for both afternoon and evening meals. The service is top notch, the menu interesting and varied and the prices very reasonable. We highly recommend this place.

24/06/2026: I contacted the restaurant for a catering service for about seventy people. What can I say...I found quality, competence, availability, professionalism, and kindness, which never hurts!! I absolutely recommend it!!

19/06/2026: The deli is always well-stocked and offers a wide selection—I recommend the cold pasta dishes and meatballs. Quality and cleanliness are by no means a given. The staff is friendly and helpful. Excellent catering service!

23/06/2026: This is a sweet local coffee shop and bar where you can enjoy your cappuccino while neighbours walk in and out all the time. No fuzz, no hurry, just catch up and enjoy your drink.

08/08/2026: The ambiance is lovely. Unfortunately, I can't say the same for the food and service. The baked mussels were fresh and crispy, but the antipasti misto was rather uninspired and bland. We waited quite a while for service. The fritto misto wasn't to our liking either. What a shame!

04/08/2026: A nightmare day, the appetizer was lousy and I didn't like it at all, it was scorching hot, how can you eat outside in 40°C heat and inside without air conditioning? A lunch to forget.

14/07/2026: In my opinion, it's absolutely to be avoided. I ordered a pizza with arugula, parmesan, and cherry tomatoes, and a Coke Zero. All without looking at the menu. It arrived after an hour and 10 minutes (this is understandable). I paid €14.50, but they forgot the Coke at the pizzeria. I asked for my money back for the Coke, and they gave me €2.50 (understandable), so the "total" cost of the pizza was €12.00 (a bit expensive). I looked on the menu for arugula, parmesan, tomato, and buffalo mozzarella (€9.50). That is, it costs less than my standard pizza. I called and discovered there was a €2 delivery charge (which other pizzerias charge for free). To receive the pizza you see in the photo,

15/10/2025: Really lovely place with a good vibe and nice music. The service was relaxed and personal - extra plus to Alessandro who took care of us in the best way. You get small snacks with your drink, which is a nice touch. The hot sandwiches are really recommended! Minus for the toilet which could have been fresher but otherwise a place you would happily come back to.

02/03/2026: I'm giving it one star only because zero isn't an option. A thorough hygiene check is in order, as well as an assessment of whether the restaurant meets HACCP standards, because the restaurant is filthy to say the least. We found hair on our plates, dirty glasses and pitchers, not to mention the state of the bathroom. I don't think I've ever seen a restaurant with worse hygiene standards.

27/02/2026: The place was very dirty, poorly maintained, and dark. The glasses were very dirty. I had pasta with meat sauce, which was very tasteless and cold. I paid a lot. I don't recommend eating here. I'm sorry, but I will NEVER go back.

14/06/2026: The only good thing about this bar is the bald gentleman who works in the evenings/nights.

10/06/2026: A good place on the outskirts of town, I think one of the only bars open all hours. You can always find something to eat, even late at night. They also have a pizzeria and sell tobacco. Friendly and helpful staff, decent food, and fair prices. Recommended for a quiet outing or a late-night refreshment.

03/01/2026: Came at 14:30, did not wait for a table, service was amazing and enjoyed Aperol Spritz with amazing Zucchini feta balls with tzatziki sauce, delicious Linguine with tomato sauce and Carbonara with bacon.

02/01/2026: Very bad service, there was no room inside and the waiter told us we had to sit outside. We said okay, and we waited outside for 20 minutes to be served…

14/07/2026: Whilst I only popped by for a glass of wine, the friendly waiter went out of his way to get me some gluten free crisps to accompany the wine. Enjoyed the glass of whilst overlooking the piazza.

29/06/2026: Slow service, less than average food (wasabi sardines), nobody clearing dishes or looking after guests. Avoid.

09/04/2026: By far the best cafe/bar in Trieste.

20/03/2026: Terrible experience. I order two simple glasses of wine: a Schioppettino and a Sauvignon. I receive two reds. At this point, I deduce that the waiter can't distinguish a Sauvignon from a Cabernet Sauvignon. I point out the mistake and simply ask for the correct wines. The surprise? I'm scolded by the waitress, clearly unaccustomed to receiving any kind of comment, even when the error is glaring. She tells me to "use a different tone," when I've simply pointed out a basic fact: one is a white wine, the other is a red. You certainly don't need a winemaking course to understand that. However, the distinction is probably not so clear to the waiters... and pointing it out becomes downright offensive. I don't recommend this place. Not so much for the unpreparedness of the staff—which is already serious—but for the rudeness with which they defend themselves. Avoid this place 100%.
