Reservation by phone no problem although my Italian is lousy. Antipasti, primi, secondi & dessert + bootle of vino bianco very delicious. A nice experience worth the € 100! Again, next time in Trieste.

Truly one of the best restaurant experiences we’ve had. The atmosphere was cozy, there was no menu, and we were served antipasto, freshly homemade pasta, and fish, all of which were extremely tasty. The wine was excellent. This place is a real gem. Thanks to the hosts for making our dinner so special.

I might add that yes, you also turned out to be a magnificent dance instructor. It was my birthday, and you never made me feel alone, even as a foreigner. The food was excellent. Excellent dinner at Trattoria Alla Valle in Trieste. The atmosphere is warm, welcoming, simple yet elegant, and never snobbish: an authentic place that truly reflects Trieste's tradition and culture. The chef and owner, Mr. Paolo, is a delightful person who immediately made us feel at ease. Excellent fish soup with maltagliati, followed by homemade spaghetti with tomato, Taggiasca olives, octopus, and calamari—really well-balanced. The main course was baked sea bream, swordfish, and baked potatoes with excellent olives. The house white wine was also good, dry but smooth. To finish, typical Carnival crostoli (small pastries), simple and delicious. A special thanks to Mr. Paolo for the pleasant conversation about culture, literature, and current events. An authentic trattoria of great quality. Highly recommended.

Seafood restaurant. We had a wonderful meal, with incredibly fresh fish and homemade pasta. Everything was delicious, from appetizers to dessert. Highly recommended, don't miss it.

Nice little cozy restaurant in the heart of Trieste. Not many tables but full of charm. Food was fresh, rich and amazing. Also the house wine was good too. Service was friendly and fast. We will come back for sure!
