Pizzeria Modesto City In Trieste

It was a nice winter dinner at the end of the year in Modesto 😌 The pizza was delicious. One can choose the "tipo di farina" that is the type of flour for the pizza dough (only 2€ extra). The atmosphere was cozy and warm. We enjoyed the desserts too (torta della nonna, crema catalana). The decoration with ship models is charming. Overall, it was a wonderful experience in Modesto. I strongly recommend this pizzeria. 🙃

The food was excellent, but unfortunately there were some minor misunderstandings with the waitress! These were later resolved.

Two pizzas and two beers for €42 And what pizzas! I wouldn't have expected to find such good Neapolitan pizza in a street parallel to Viale. Despite the few reviews, compared to other more famous places whose pizzas aren't quite as good, I found the quality to be truly surprising. I'm not a fan of Neapolitan pizza, but I enjoyed this one from the top to the crust. And then the tiramisu... a real treat. Really good.

I've now "tested" this place several times, both for lunch and dinner. I had an amazing and very digestible pizza, despite having ordered pizzas that weren't exactly light. I also had the chance to try their simple and very Sicilian dishes. Friendly and friendly service. Fair prices. Well done, and congratulations to the owners!

It's like a typical old-fashioned restaurant where you know the food can't go wrong; the food and service are very good.

We love eating here. Whenever we're in Trieste, we come here. We'll be back. Delicious pizza.
