We thoroughly enjoyed everything, from the appetizers to the main course to the desserts. The hostess was very friendly. An experience we'll repeat as soon as possible.

11/11/2025: This café has a special feature. Between approximately 8:00 and 10:00 in October and November, you can sit outside and enjoy your coffee in the morning sun, weather permitting. It's perfect for people-watching as Udine awakens. Saturdays and Sundays are best. The staff are incredibly friendly and efficient. The prices are very reasonable for the location. Highly recommended.

08/03/2026: We went there at 2 pm for a bite to eat. We hadn't booked, but there were about ten tables available outside. I should point out that the restaurant is open all day, but despite there being plenty of seats to fill, the waiter apologized and didn't seat us. Luckily, there's an Osmiza 100 meters away that, despite being full, thank God, doesn't turn people away and offers excellent service, authentic products, and a decent quality/price ratio! PS: An hour later, upon returning from the Osmiza, the same old empty tables... They were still empty!!!

I recommend it!
31/03/2026: I occasionally stop by to pick up some take-out sandwiches to eat at home. They're precise about pick-up times, and in my opinion, they're among the best sandwiches in Trieste. The staff is friendly and helpful.

21/02/2026: The mussels were awful!!! They smelled of mud, were rubbery, the sauce was salty and just water—no garlic, spices, or wine—a disaster!!! The service was very friendly, the wait was short, and they were beautifully presented—that's why I didn't give them a 1.

Too bad.

22/12/2025: Finally, under new management, the restaurant is back to being a trusted source! Excellent food! After several visits, I've now tried everything, both for lunch and dinner, and I can say that the fish is fresh and well-prepared. The atmosphere is elegant and welcoming, and the service is prompt.
19/09/2025: Great fish and seafood dishes at sensational prices. Vegetarian and meat dishes are also available. The house wine is excellent. Since the new takeover, this has been an outstanding restaurant. A 100% recommendation.
