12/12/2025: A very typical Trieste buffet, with a typical clientele, for those who want to enjoy a bit of the rustic Trieste lifestyle. The counter features cicchetti (small appetizers) and a menu featuring typical Trieste-style dishes. For lunch, I had a lovely large plate of cooked ham, porcini mushrooms, sauerkraut, and horseradish—all delicious! Friendly staff, excellent location in the city center.

22/03/2026: Sunday evening dinner, when you don't have anything at home. Farmhouse with home-made flavors, a perfect platter with sublime salami, cheese not up to par, accompanied by homemade bread. Delicate cotechino with excellent stewed cabbage, roast chicken with wild garlic and perfectly cooked sclopit, along with wild garlic potatoes. To finish, Refosco ice cream and a persimmon and pear tart, good quality wines! Lovely owners, we'll be back!!!

12/08/2025: Se cerchi un posto tranquillo dove mangiare nella pausa pranzo non venire qui.
Se cerchi un posto per mangiare casareccio, gustoso, abbondante e economico questa trattoria è perfetta.
Del resto ne sono testimoni i numerosissimi operai che ogni giorno ci vanno a pranzare. Se il cibo fosse cattivo, non continuerebbero a venirci.
C'è anche molta gente comune, anche anziani che preferiscono mangiare qui anziché cucinare a casa.
Dulcis in fundo: il menù a prezzo fisso. E si può anche acquistare per asporto.
Anna e Sabrina sono dei "fulmini di guerra": non fai in tempo a sederti che arrivano per la comanda.

25/03/2026: While passing through Udine, we stopped at this pizzeria and everything was great. The service was friendly and attentive, and the pizza was excellent (it's hard to choose because there are so many on the menu), well-topped with quality ingredients! We complimented the pizza chef! Now we know where to get good pizza in Udine!

04/02/2026: We stayed at this hotel. Honestly, we were disappointed considering it's a 4-star hotel. I'd rate the breakfast more as a 2-star... There was practically no savory food (except for the 4 slices of speck, cheese, salami, and ham/rump, which weren't even good quality). As for dessert, the croissants were adequate... but the packaged cakes weren't that great. The hot drinks machine was also mediocre. The homemade orange juice was good.
The rooms aren't comfortable...the best thing about the room is the bathroom.
It's a shame because there's so much potential, but I understand that given the location, which isn't very popular, perhaps these standards are fine.
26/10/2025: A wonderful experience at this hotel, the only thing missing is the food (at least for dinner). A generous breakfast and spacious rooms in a truly unique period setting.
