31/07/2024: Nice location and decor. Felt warm/inviting. Pleasant staff and prompt service at the bar, but a bit of a wait for pasticcio that was expensive and not good at all. Went looking for lasagna around town at lunch and was told to look for pasticcio instead, which would have white sauce and would be authentic and good. What was served was basically solidified flour paste with crumbled meat. The pasta was very overcooked and mushed into whatever cheese or other ingredients were hidden in the mass. It must be from a large tray where the pasta continues cooking long after it comes out of the oven, then it cooks even further when reheated for an order. There is a high quality pizza and a nice pastry to be found in any direction in Gorizia for the cost of this one thing, and I wouldn't buy this again even if it was cheap. I might try something the chef is obligated to make fresh, such as pizza, but it should be obvious that a process needs to be revamped when the white sauce, cheese, and pasta are indistinguishable. Just make a large tray of very al dente pasticcio and immediately refrigerate small portions. The pasta will soften just from sitting in the sauce, then reheat it in an air fryer.

At the checkout a sign argues against bank commissions on transactions, but nevertheless they accepted the payment with the POS without problems

09/08/2024: We couldn't pay our bill individually so they simply divided it by 5. We also had to wait 1 hour for our food, which in the end wasn't good. They also tipped each other properly even without us asking.

15/08/2024: Excellent restaurant, very attentive to customers with always fresh products. Suggestive location, ample parking and children's playground. The pizza however was not very pleasant. Prices normal.

01/05/2024: Siamo venuti qui a cena consigliati dal proprietario del nostro b&b Andrea. Cucina tipica friulana, porzioni abbondanti, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. Da tornare sicuramente!!! Gli gnocchi erano fantastici!!!

We tasted the trio of first courses: 5 stars for gnocchi with bear ragout, good with unexpectedly soft seasoning, 3 stars for the orecchiette with gongorzola and ramandolo and two stars for the tortelloni with truffle but 5 stars with praise for the moose steak and bear stew!! COMPLIMENTS!
Location with ample parking, also convenient for motorbikes!
I certainly recommend!

20/08/2024: Cena veloce da solo nei tavoli all'esterno, preso piatto mille e una notte (kebab in piadina, felafel, humus di ceci, tabulé e patate con harissa) davvero buono; ho provato la birra aromatizzata al cardamomo, non mi ha fatto impazzire ma è particolare e da provare. Prezzo in linea a quello che ho consumato.
Personale cordiale.
20/05/2024: We enjoyed our lunch immensely. We had four mezzah to start (grape leaves, hummus with avocados, moussaka; and mini kuftas). We received pita bread with our order. For our entrees with ordered rice with grilled vegetables and Grand Vizier of Meat which was a mixed grill to share. Everything we ordered was fresh and hot and delicious. Can’t wait to eat here again.

04/05/2024: Sono stato a mangiare in questa pizzeria con alcuni amici. Il posto, decisamente ruspante, è perfetto per una serata goliardica. L’atmosfera paesana è sicuramente colorita dal titolare, uno che non passa inosservato. Tutti questi elementi possono anche divertire, resta il fatto che un ristorante, personalmente, lo giudico a partire dal cibo… Ecco devo dire che di questo non son stato del tutto soddisfatto. La pizza era bruciata ed anche la qualità degli ingredienti la ho trovata scarsa (il mio prosciutto crudo era spesso è durissimo, non mi è piaciuto per niente). Ottimo il conto, bravo il personale, ma sul cibo ho comunque da ridire…

31/08/2024: We arrived at this restaurant as the only customers which made us wonder about our choice!
However, delighted to say that we thoroughly enjoyed the experience. We were informed that only fish was available and were shown a variety of offerings - mussels, fresh sardines, langoustine, orada, dog fish. Of course, pasta and gnocchi were available too. Felt a little nervous as no prices were displayed but were really pleasantly surprised at the bill which included house wine. A delightful host, many people arrived to eat while we were there and although the outside looks a little uninspiring, we would definitely return.
14/07/2024: Mi sono recato con mia moglie su consiglio di un amico. Sinceramente poche volte ho mangiato così male del pesce. Le capesante gommose con un chilo di Pangrattato la pasta con gli scampi non era buona, non c'era un menù e alla fine le scelte le ha fatto il titolare. La cosa singolare che in tutti i tavoli dei vari avventori tutti hanno mangiato le stesse cose prese da noi, cioè antipasti di capesante o canestrelli, pasta con gli scampi e sardoni impanati. Pesci al forno niente c'è era un unico branzino da 1,5 kg per cinque persone per noi era tanto e nei tavoli attorno che erano in più persone nessuno ho visto prenderlo. Mi dispiace ma da migliorare
