16/09/2025: We ended our honeymoon with a 2-night stay at Palazzo del Corso. Our Prestige "Corallo" room was really good, with sophisticated decor and everything we needed.
Notable was the quality of our breakfast, as well as the very corteous service.
The rooftop dining and bar are perfect for a drink in a tranquil and serene setting.
The pool area is small but who cares? Tbe beaches near Gallipoli are stunning so we never used the pool.
The location is also great. A stone throw from the buzz of the historic centre, but quiet enough to have a restful sleep in our king size comfy bed! We loved it!
20/07/2025: Did my my brothers engagement party there. Fantastic from the staff that helped set it up to the quality. Would be staying there again.

08/11/2025: Today we went to lunch in this restaurant together with Paco, a small dog. The cuisine is very well prepared and very good. The service and the staff are very nice and friendly. The place is very clean. We will be back. I recommend it.
18/10/2025: Excellent trattoria at the foot of the Antro cave.
From the terrace you can enjoy a beautiful view of the Natisone Valley.
We arrived without a reservation, but they welcomed us anyway and offered us a nice table in the lower room.
We started with excellent house appetizers.
For our first course, the delicious green gnocchi with hare ragù and the "Minestra di San Martino": an extraordinary mushroom and chestnut soup.
I've been looking for a soup like this for years!!!
Thanks again to the chef!!!
The house wine was excellent.
The service was excellent: kind, attentive, and professional.
Excellent value for money.
We hope to be back soon!!!

There's so much to write about, from the service to the food, from the wine list to the ambience...but I'll just say try it and believe it!
An interesting fusion of Roman and Friulian cuisine, with excellent ingredients on both sides.
Certain details, for those who notice them, make the meal very enjoyable and, above all, free from the usual monotony that reigns supreme in the area.
(A "Minestrone" with venison morsels will send your taste buds to another planet.)
Attentive and professional service, and, to be clear, there's a lot of experience here.
Excellent value for money.

22/02/2026: Terrible lunch, cold polenta, tasteless trio of frico, we had to add salt to each piece, overcooked risotto and the cjarcions we asked for with herbs and they got trout, potatoes in tecia they don't know how to make them not to mention the price..... never again!!!

23/02/2026: Wide selection of dishes, generous portions, fair prices, excellent service. The quality of several of the dishes we tried was excellent. Plenty of parking near the cemetery when the spaces in front of the restaurant are full, and it's very popular for both lunch and dinner. I'll definitely be back again.

20/02/2026: Welcoming atmosphere, the summer garden by the river is magical, the staff friendly and knowledgeable, excellent food from the restaurant to the pizzas, highly recommended.
13/01/2026: The pizza is always good. Wood-fired. Crispy. Minimal crust. The fish platter is especially good on weekends when they grill over charcoal. The beer garden is beautiful, right on the Stella River. Closed on Mondays. Otherwise, usually open even in winter. If you're lucky, there's a boat mooring right outside.

Unfortunately, we didn't like the fish.
Years ago, I'd eaten very well, but yesterday the grilled fish wasn't good and the spaghetti with clams was bland. The gratin appetizer wasn't bad.

03/10/2025: Beautiful cave, the speleologist guide was very interesting and thorough. It's best to book your visit.
13/09/2025: We were fortunate enough to visit this wonderful cave exclusively; there were just the two of us and our guide. He was exceptional, knowledgeable; his sensitivity and respect for the place and the animals that live there made the visit so interesting that we forgot to take photos, and, ironically, in hindsight, it made the tour of other caves less magical.
Respect that goes far beyond tourist interest.
He left us with wonderful memories.

The food is delicious, and the wine is a gift. They also serve water from an artesian well. The server brings a pitcher, and you help yourself. Wonderful!
