22/05/2025: On our way to Venice we stopped at this Salumeria to grab 2 sandwiches to take away. We had 3 ingredients: bread, prosciutto and buffalo. There is no better place than Italy to eat something like this and at Salumeria Fontanot the ingredients are 100% Italian.

01/05/2025: Let me start by saying that I have already been there and I didn't have a bad experience but unfortunately this time I have to say that it went differently. I accept the price of the dishes but the quality and quantity must be much higher. Everything has increased I understand but the quality of the dishes had to remain unchanged. I hope this helps you so future customers are happy, I'm unlikely to go back.

Gute Weine, gute eigene Produkte, vor allem die Antipasti misti sind ausgezeichnet. Mit Freunden, Familie und Kindern ungezwungen und sehr nett. Kommen seit Jahren immer wieder.

03/05/2025: We have been using their bed and breakfast service for years and plan to return again. The decoration is rustic, but neat and comfortable. The breakfast is plentiful and varied, and they offered me gluten-free dishes without any problems. The hosts are always friendly and smiling, and will offer you a welcome glass of wine. There is also free parking within the facility.

13/04/2025: An oasis of hospitality and authentic flavors at the Vittoria Restaurant-Hotel The Vittoria Hotel-Restaurant in Claut has proven to be a true gem, a place where a warm welcome is combined with a cuisine that celebrates tradition with a touch of freshness. Special praise goes to the young chef Alex, whose passion and availability were immediately evident. Not only did he serve us with courtesy and attention, but he demonstrated particular sensitivity to customer needs, including a vegetarian option in the menu which turned out to be surprisingly tasty and well thought out. The dining experience was further enhanced by the homemade pasta, a true triumph of authentic flavors and perfect texture. To accompany these delicious dishes, a selection of excellent quality wines that enhanced each course. Despite the notable influx of customers, the owner Sergio demonstrated commendable dedication, giving us all the attention possible and making us feel welcome and pampered guests. His attentive and thoughtful presence helped make our visit even more pleasant. In conclusion, the Vittoria Restaurant-Hotel is an address that I highly recommend to anyone who is in Claut and wants to live an authentic experience, characterized by good food, sincere hospitality and customer care that makes the difference. Special thanks to Alex and Sergio for making our stop so memorable.

Ambiente ampio, con un bel giardino; ubicazione sulla strada principale, nel centro del paese; classica trattoria cittadina in Carso, con stile semplice un po’ demodé. Recensione riferita ad una cena di 3 amici nel maggio 2024. Abbiamo speso sui 30 euro a testa. Porzioni grandi, ottimo cibo, tovaglia di carta, menù macchiato, parmigiano in bustine. Consiglio i cevapcici (ottima carne morbida, ma senza aglio), cipolla cruda, ajvar, patate in tecia calde e autentiche; oppure il pollo disossato grigliato. Riguardo i dessert, delizioso e artigianale lo strudel caldo; sconsiglio invece il trancio alla frutta: la base aveva un impasto poco cotto e la panna era stucchevole. Buona la birra chiara; consiglio inoltre il tipico liquore di terrano!

27/05/2025: We took the seafood menu for two. The appetizer was nothing special, especially the shrimp and octopus. But so far let's say passable. The worst part is the second course of first courses: the pasta with squid ink was dry to death. The pappardelle instead were the most inedible thing I've ever eaten in my life. Thick, dry pasta, it didn't even twist on the fork, topped with cheese croutons that completely covered the flavor of the fish. Glasses of Sturm wine €8 each. Cover charge €5 per person. I had a large room at the end of the long corridors, so it was really quiet at night—even though the rooms are very noisy. Excellent and plentiful breakfast, very friendly staff at the reception.
