09/03/2026: ***Update February 2026*** I can confirm the quality of the dishes and the freshness of the cured meats used, but on this occasion we waited about an hour and a half to eat. I understand that there may be less traffic during the week and a lot more on the weekend, but strengthening the kitchen staff would be a good thing because people arrive hungry, and even if they get something to eat, the wait is still quite long. I would strongly recommend removing some of the waiters, who honestly are too many, and adding extra kitchen help so that dishes can be served more quickly and the crowds can be handled. A wonderful discovery on the edge of Porcia. A very cute Irish-style pub with a very unique interior, which you can see from the photos. The staff are very friendly, courteous, polite, and smiling. We were here on a Saturday, when every two weeks there's a special quiz game that lets you compete with other people, laugh, and joke with your fellow players. We had two fried foods, cooked to perfection, and three different sandwiches. I don't know if they can change the toppings, but we had two sandwiches and a hamburger. We were also very pleased with the homemade desserts, which were really good and beautifully presented. The seats were a bit uncomfortable because they were hard. I'd recommend cushions for those who spend a lot of time on the move, like those who play. We'll definitely be back.

16/03/2026: We stopped by almost by chance and were greeted upon entry without a single wait by Martina. Since my wife and I were there with our dog, she didn't hesitate to find us a table suitable for our needs, so as not to disturb anyone. The welcome was already warm, as she arrived with a water bowl for the dog, which we greatly appreciated. Unfamiliar with the menu, it was our first time at this restaurant. We were recommended, and given the food intolerances we both had, the information was brief, simple, and concise, yet perfectly comprehensive. I must say that both of our dishes were worthy of a top-notch restaurant. We were looked after attentively, never intrusive, and very professionally. We didn't wait more than a few minutes for the various dishes we ordered to arrive. As for us, we will definitely return whenever we have the chance, hoping that Martina or someone like her will serve us, as she certainly added value to the service.

16/03/2026: Roadhouse restaurant and branch in Trieste is excellent. Excellent staff, helpful, kind, and smiling. The quality of the menu is top-notch (especially the meat). The meat is exquisitely tender. It also depends on what you order, so it depends on how you order it. The service is impeccable. The interior is very well decorated. Highly recommended.

28/12/2025: Immaculate Conception weekend in Udine. Renovated hotel near the city center. Comfortable room and bathroom equipped with everything you need. Underground garage accessible by elevator, convenient and spacious, at an additional cost to the room. Friendly staff and a more than adequate breakfast. Pets are welcome.

04/03/2026: The originally planned beer stop turned into a hearty, high-calorie mountain lunch. It would have been more pleasant to sit outside given the beautiful sunny day. The food, however, was good. The refuge's location offers a magnificent view of the Julian Alps. It's reached after a pleasant climb, with lovely huts along the way. Suitable for all seasons.

15/11/2025: Welcoming and friendly staff. Varied menu. Delicious fish and fried foods. The pizza is well-cooked and doesn't linger, and it's also very flavorful and made with delicious ingredients. Very easy to reach on the Napoleonica highway. Great for stopping for a drink or dinner, as happened tonight. I'll be back.

05/03/2026: Excellent osteria in the center of Udine. There were two of us for dinner on Valentine's Day, and despite the crowds and large number of customers, the service was fast and impeccable. The menu has a few interesting dishes, and everything we ordered was delicious and excellent value. We started with two appetizers—prosciutto crudo and a poached egg—then shared a pork Tomahawk, and finally a Sacher torte for dessert. There's parking nearby, and the place is very easy to get to. I've been there before, but it's consistently a very good restaurant with very fair prices for the quality. I'll definitely be back!

07/12/2025: Excellent restaurant with very interesting dishes. We had a great time, and the price was fair for what we ordered and the quality we found. The wine selection was also excellent. I highly recommend it.

25/11/2025: The food was good, and the ingredients were carefully selected. I really enjoyed the tagliolini with San Daniele ham. It's a shame the portions were a bit small. For our main course, we chose two dishes of goose with mashed potatoes that were off the menu and had no prices displayed. My advice: always display the prices because, like me, other customers at the register might be surprised by the excessive prices.
