Restaurant located along Viale Miramare in the province of Trieste on the ground floor of the Albergo Tritone in a welcoming and quiet environment with a wonderful outdoor terrace full of plants and flowers with comfortable and well-arranged tables where you can enjoy good Mediterranean cuisine dishes all fresh and tasty accompanied by local wines with kind and attentive waiters.

Warm welcome, smiling staff, very good food, excellent outdoor seating with a sea view and a nice breeze. We'll be back.

Ristorante Grifone in Barcola Trieste, run for decades by the Lanzellotti family, has been a guest since 1992 and a friend of the family for 33 years. A top-notch restaurant run with heart, passion, and professionalism! A wonderful ambiance with an old tree shading the terrace and top-notch service at the table and in the kitchen by the Lanzellotti brothers. Regional products from the sea and the karst, vegetables, fruits, and wines from all over Friuli Venezia Giulia and neighboring Slovenia. I can only give it 10 stars. Thank you so much!

Despite being street-facing, it's surrounded by plants, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. We ate very well; the portions were generous and the dishes were tasty. The service was prompt, and the staff were attentive and friendly.

Simple place but in a convenient location to get to and park

Excellent restaurant. I've been here twice in early April and was very satisfied both times. The food is tasty and fresh, beautifully presented. The service is attentive and friendly. The staff really do their best. I'll definitely be back.

The place is very nice, on the seafront in a quiet area. Most of the prices are excellent, except for the grilled fish, where a 30-35 cm sea bass costs 50 euros; the rest is perfect.
