The location is great; however, the hotel does not accurately present its room categories on online booking platforms. Several room categories shown by the booking agencies do not correspond to the categories actually offered by the hotel. In our case, we paid for a “Deluxe Double Room” — supposedly a higher category than the standard room — but according to the receptionist, it actually corresponded to their lowest category, called the “Fashion Room.” What a disappointment. We basically paid €60 extra for what was essentially a standard room. No alternatives or solutions were offered by the reception staff at the time, who simply kept looking at their screens without even proposing an upgrade for an additional price difference. The hotel should definitely review and clarify the room information it provides to online travel booking platforms. Update: Despite the incident with the room type, I must note that the waitress in the bar was extremely attentive and kind. I really enjoyed the few minutes before sunset on their terrace. Update 2: Later that evening, around 21:00, the receptionist approached me and explained that she had spoken with management and that they were willing to offer us an upgrade. We appreciated the gesture and their effort to address the situation; however, by that time we were already fully settled into the room, with our luggage unpacked, so changing rooms was no longer practical knowing it would be only one night. We still wanted to leave a factual review reflecting our overall experience, particularly regarding the misleading room category information presented during the booking process.

Title: My favorite place in Gallipoli Palazzo del Corso is simply beautiful. For me, it's my favorite place in Gallipoli. The property is meticulously maintained, a perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort. But what makes the difference is the view of the marina. Dining on the rooftop terrace, away from the hustle and bustle, is priceless! The rooms are clean, spacious, and super comfortable. The staff was incredibly kind and helpful, making you feel right at home. The location is perfect for exploring the historic center on foot and being just steps away from everything.

We stayed at this hotel and had a truly pleasant experience. The property boasts a wonderful view, offering moments of relaxation and unforgettable panoramas. The hotel is well-maintained, elegant, and welcoming, with truly beautiful spaces. An absolute highlight is the restaurant: excellent cuisine, dishes prepared with great care and using quality ingredients. Every dinner was a true pleasure. The rooms are spacious, clean, and very comfortable, perfect for relaxing after a day spent at the beach and walking. The staff are friendly and helpful, the atmosphere relaxing, and the service top-notch. We definitely recommend this place and would gladly return.

The property is a very beautiful old residence. In our opinion, the 5-star rating assigned to the hotel is inadequate for what it offers. Although it is a beautiful property, the service offered does not meet the quality expected from this category. Consequently, the price/performance ratio is unbalanced. A negative note goes to the breakfast, which, while good in quality and courteous in service, is comparable to a lower-category property. It could and should be more varied and presented differently. Our suggestion to the management is to work on these aspects to make their guests' stay a unique experience.

The perfect rooftop for enjoying great drinks and tapas in a wonderful location. Spectacular views of the sea and sunset with excellent service. Highly recommended and a must-visit if you're in Gallipoli. María and Mariana showed us a wonderful level of hospitality.
