04/03/2026: I've been to this restaurant several times over the years, so my opinion isn't based on a single experience, but on multiple visits. The restaurant looks good: the ambiance is well-kept and pleasant, with furnishings that create a pleasant atmosphere. Nothing exceptional, but certainly pleasant. Unfortunately, however, the quality of the cuisine doesn't live up to the image the restaurant wants to convey, nor does it live up to the prices, which are high for the quality offered. On several occasions, I've found dishes to be too salty, excessively greasy, or with a general lack of balance in flavors. On one occasion, I was served raw fish that hadn't been cleaned thoroughly or that wasn't suitable for being served raw. The composition of some dishes also seemed sloppy and inadequate for either the price or the quality the restaurant seems to be promoting. Furthermore, the portions of the main courses have sometimes been truly small: in some cases, literally just a few bites. The service, while not the most critical aspect, doesn't help justify the overall cost of the experience. Even details like the amount of wine served by the glass seemed rather limited. In short, I have the feeling that the restaurant wants to present itself as a premium establishment, but that in reality it fails to live up to its standards, especially considering the prices. A disappointment, especially since it has matured over time and been confirmed by multiple experiences.

05/03/2026: The mango ice cream was a little too sweet for my taste. The tiramisu had a unique flavor; I only tried a little, but it looked delicious. My friend had a cone with tiramisu and Mediterranean cream and was very satisfied. Overall, they serve generous portions.

22/02/2026: I highly recommend this restaurant. I recently went for dinner with a group of friends and we loved it. The place is very welcoming, and the atmosphere is exactly what you want for a pleasant evening. The menu is varied and can satisfy every desire: from appetizers to first courses and main courses, the selection is wide and well thought out. We were impressed by the quality of the dishes. Furthermore, the care and attention of the staff was excellent: kind and always attentive, which made the experience perfect! Between chatting with the owner, we had a truly wonderful evening! I'm not from Trieste, but I hope to return very soon.

28/02/2026: The food is ok, but everything happens so quickly that the atmosphere is a bit tense and although the staff is friendly, it feels like you're at a fast food joint. You come, you eat, you leave.

22/02/2026: As a Caserta native, I can say I appreciated the dough, the toppings, and the homely flavor of this pizza. It almost brought a tear to my eye. A rare pearl in a city that can be sad like Trieste. Congratulations guys, and the free zeppoline with takeaway are a touch of class and added heart. Really good.

03/02/2026: We've been going to this restaurant for about 14 years now. We always enjoy coming back. It's even beautifully renovated now, with a new menu, a new dining room, lots of new things, but as always, the quality is simply sensational.

12/11/2025: The atmosphere is typical and authentic Friulian trattoria, with a few dishes, but truly excellent. I was there a few weeks ago for a dinner with colleagues; there were about ten of us. I tried the dishes pictured, and everything was truly delicious. But I fell so in love with the tripe that I had to order a second helping. Highly recommended.

19/02/2026: We stopped by with the family by chance, the restaurant was full of workers so I thought the food would be simple but good, instead we ordered à la carte and we were pleasantly surprised, everything was excellent, even the elaborate dishes.

18/02/2026: The Al Boschetto restaurant is a guarantee of courtesy, professionalism, and top-quality products. And the best snails à la bourguignon are only available here in San Daniele del Friuli... Not to mention the crêpes flambe❤️ 🌹

24/10/2025: One of the best pizza's i had in a long time. Tuna and capriciosa. The staff speaks English and that's a big bonus. Again in 2025 we went there and even the staff remembered us. For sure we will be back .

Very fast service: even though the restaurant was really busy and we didn't have a reservation, they still found us a room with a lovely fireplace. The dishes were carefully prepared and excellent; we ate very well and were truly satisfied. I will definitely return because it's worth it. I'd say it's a place that manages to handle a large number of customers very well, and the dishes served are of great quality. *****

23/10/2025: Lunch break, top location! Spacious, well-maintained, tidy, and clean. The food is amazing! They pay exemplary attention to detail, without too many frills, but everything is solid and high-quality. Truly one of the best places I've ever stopped, but only because I've yet to find the best. 😉 Recommended to fellow truck drivers; there's room for our beasts.

24/02/2026: Try the olive baguette and the kimchi-filled focaccia, truly amazing. I hope this place never loses its desire to experiment. It's clear that behind every product there's passion and a quest for innovation. You'll always be rewarded for this. My compliments.

15/02/2026: We met Francesco at a basic bread-making course organized by Slow Food, and then had the pleasure of trying both his brioches and puff pastry, as well as his 100% sourdough bread. What can I say... all our experiences with Fermento have been superb! Francesco is truly passionate and a fine scholar of his art. He pays attention to every detail and loves to share what he knows with unique generosity and clarity... and this can be tasted and appreciated in every bite, and in every Fermento creation! Both the bread and the brioches are truly kneaded, baked, and perfected to perfection. The flours and every ingredient are absolutely top-quality, and his love and passion for baking also translates into an excellent service and atmosphere! Well done, and full steam ahead! Thank you!

24/02/2026: I had the grilled sea bass fillets, they were disgusting, they came back for 2 days, I will never eat there again, moreover I had asked for grilled vegetables and they served me potatoes with spinach that were almost blended

12/10/2025: The hotel is conveniently located, practically halfway between Trieste and the nearest Slovenian towns, Izola and Piran. The property features a beautiful, spacious terrace offering stunning sea views and the beautiful sunsets. There's a lovely, large outdoor pool. Inside, there's a spacious breakfast room for a delicious sweet and savory breakfast. The rooms are furnished with slightly vintage but decent furniture, and have comfortable beds. The bathrooms are large, but the showers are a bit limited. The hotel has parking and is located in a very quiet area. The manager, Mirella, is very kind and hospitable. Overall, a highly recommended property.
