22/11/2025: If you sprinkle a lot of Parmesan cheese on the fried polenta, you must mention it on the menu. Requested a new portion of polenta without Parmesan (new...not additional)...an hour's wait to receive it.

08/08/2025: We ate gnocco and tigelle. We ate well, the guys at the tables were great.

23/09/2025: Excellent family-run place... I went there for the first time on a holiday in the Don Camillo area... and then for work. ... I recommend visiting the bridge builders' museum next to them. I'll definitely be back.

21/09/2025: The rooms are large and comfortable, spotlessly clean and well-furnished. The bathroom is large.

30/04/2025: For work I found myself having dinner in Reggio Emilia, while walking I found this place open and willing to prepare dinner at 7pm (other places opened at 7.30pm, but I was hungry...). Service and cost good, food less so.

28/12/2025: It's 11 PM and I'm still waiting for the 8 PM delivery. I'm not even answering the phone. The delay is fine, but this is unacceptable. Lately, the service has gotten worse, to say the least. By doing this, you've lost a longtime customer who has brought you more than a few more customers.

21/11/2025: We often order their pizzas because they're truly delicious... and let's face it, with such kind and beautiful delivery guys, the experience becomes even more delicious!

29/07/2025: And it's the second time I've been there and I can only say that among the self-service restaurants it's the worst. Poor menu on the first courses and almost always beef ragù. It always opens late and they are not prepared. Terrible experience.

13/07/2025: Dear Rabita...go somewhere else so you don't have to sell a kidney...The ice cream isn't even worth the debt. Plus, there are so many flavors missing...They don't even make exceptions when there are children around..🙂‍↔️

30/12/2025: I only tried a couple of main courses and desserts...both very good. The atmosphere was nice and renovated, and the staff was friendly.

14/12/2025: Rudeness, embarrassing to say the least. The girl on the bar's balcony pretended not to see us!!! We were right in front of her, but she was chatting with two people for at least 10 minutes without asking what we wanted to order. So we sat down, the place was completely empty, even worse. She didn't even glance at us, and continued chatting away!!!! We left, and she didn't even notice. If this is how she treats customers, it's best for her to close down permanently, because this isn't the first time this has happened, and from what I've read in the reviews, it's a constant behavior. If I were the owner, I would have already kicked her out, but if she were the owner... she understands nothing about courtesy and good manners. A real shame for a place that deserves to be promoted.

29/09/2025: The host's friendliness and the typical atmosphere, a place where you can stop for a chat, are worth five stars. A rare find.

24/10/2025: I'd like to comment on the rooms in this hotel, but unfortunately I can't, since that clever guy at the front desk with the beard and glasses, who's probably having a midlife crisis, decided to play nice when I presented my driver's license on the app (Io, app, let's remember state-issued), and he, in his tone that befits his clever face, told me, "For legal purposes, physical fitness is required"... and already there we draw a veil of pity, like the one the poor guy probably has over his life, given the frustration he was emanating. Let's also mention that, to be as thorough as possible, I also attached my health card with my tax code when I emailed him my ID card, and he even had the nerve to quip, "I'm not the local health authority"... And then he asked me for payment in advance, out of suspicion. So it wasn't so much that as the gesture itself and how he presented himself, so either he should change jobs or he should take a relaxing trip.

26/09/2025: We stayed for one night for a dog competition. Although initial impressions may be misleading, I found the rooms to be spacious, clean, and well-equipped. We weren't asked for a supplement for having our dog in the room (a common practice these days among many hotels, who disguise the extra charge behind the label "pet-friendly"). Ample parking is available. The area is well-served, but a car is necessary as it's an industrial zone. Breakfast was adequate for the price charged. The staff was friendly and helpful. I'd definitely consider this hotel for the future.

13/08/2025: Unfortunately the place has become too crowded, especially in summer where the place offers an excellent climate.

12/08/2025: The pizza is average and a little different from the usual; perhaps the focaccia (which I haven't tried) looked better. Of course, the menu without prices leaves me a little disappointed. But no rip-off, mind you.

20/11/2025: The food is good, the staff is friendly and professional, and the prices are reasonable. There's even a small playground behind the summer terrace.

23/10/2025: Terrible pasta, mediocre pizza. The place is old and devoid of any charm, the prices are high, and the service is rude and inconsistent (especially the owner). I can't understand how a restaurant like this can stay open. Its only advantage is its proximity to the wonderful Rivalta Palace and Park.

02/03/2026: It's an MC, and I'm sorry that for two adults and a young girl, dinner arrived in two batches. My sandwich arrived without the salad, my wife only got fries, and my niece only got the sandwich. After 15 minutes, the missing items arrived. I also asked for a Coke and a Sprite, and two Cokes arrived.

25/02/2026: Drinks are ridiculously diluted, tastes like nothing more than water (much more than usual), cheese fries are finished, but they won't give you your money back... A messy mess. If you pay for salsa, 90% of the time they won't give it to you, but the 15-cent bag is. Go to any other Mac's, but this one is definitely one to avoid.

16/11/2025: It's not for food tourism, but not for starving people, as some have mentioned. It's a place where working people go, eat civilly, pay what they've eaten, and go back to work or continue their journey.
