28/12/2024: We have just spent a few days at Ca’Matilde during the Christmas period whilst visiting family in the region. Our stay was made exceptional by Marcella, who as usual welcomed us with the best hospitality one could wish for. The food at the restaurant is delicious and interesting and showcases the regional food and vegetables from their garden, the rooms are clean and comfortable, and the breakfast is just the best way to start the morning. We will definitely be coming back!

Excellent food of super quality (of the tradition of the Emilian mountains, the innkeeper (I am the owner) is exactly what I wanted to find, friendly, knowledgeable and truly Emilian. 19/12/2024: Herbe is an excellent restaurant, the atmosphere is pleasant, the staff are courteous and professional. It proposes a vegetable cuisine in which the material is almost always completely transformed (read, cooked) rather than simply assembled as vegetable dishes are often proposed. It's impossible not to mention the cappelletti with vegetable cream which are a 10/10 with praise. Honorable mention for the "Fuà Grà" served with brioche which really won me over. I always come back for dinner willingly and the perception/hope is that from here we can still improve, refine and invent the cuisine into which, evidently, they place great attention and passion.

03/12/2024: Frequento questo locale da oltre 20 anni, con amici in moto. Da questo anno 2024 ci sono stati alcuni cambiamenti significativi. Amento dei prezzi e forte riduzione della quantità di cibo. Antipasto sempre come al solito, ma fette di salume trasparenti, primi ridotti di oltre il 50% rispetto a prima, tipi di menu ridotto del 50%. Si nota una diminuzione di entusiasmo generale. Si consiglia di ripensare, se si inizia una piega al ribasso, difficile tornare su. Sono del mestiere.

24/11/2024: I thought this was an absolute top experience. The incredible setting in this former fortress. I thought the food was magical. And we opted for the premium wine formula where we asked to replace the proposed 1985 Bordeaux with a top Italian wine (and we received a beautiful Bolgheri Superiore). A truly impressive culinary experience.
