06/07/2025: “Qualità del pesce indiscutibile, nulla da dire sulla freschezza e sul gusto. Tuttavia, il rapporto qualità-prezzo lascia perplessi. Mi viene applicata la maggiorazione del coperto, nonostante debba fare la fila per ordinare, attendere che tutto venga preparato e, una volta terminato, sparecchiare il tavolo da solo e fare la raccolta differenziata. Il tutto consumato con posate di plastica. A conti fatti, spendo quanto (se non più) di un ristorante vero e proprio, ma con un servizio nettamente inferiore.”

11/05/2025: La sera aperitivo, questa mattina colazione : ottima esperienza. Per chi deve adattare la propria alimentazione ai problemi legati a glutine e lattosio è una eccellente opportunità. Qui trovi servizio di panetteria, caffetteria/bar, pasticceria, ristorazione. Ottimi i prodotti, il loro assortimento, la presentazione ; cortese e paziente il personale nelle illustrazioni e spiegazioni. Il locale è gradevole, con una distesa all' esterno nella parte posteriore. È vero che i prezzi non sono economici ma sappiamo bene che questi prodotti e le materie prime per crearli hanno costi superiori a quelli di chi utilizza le "materie standard" : per noi Promosso !

I had ordered a menu from the app wrongly because of the wrong geolocation, and she solved the problem quickly and, despite the people, she was super understanding and kind. 25/07/2025: Sono stata in questo locale con un amico e abbiamo mangiato due pizze: una estate e una sorrentina. Molto buone, con il tipico impasto napoletano, soffice e digeribile. L'unica cosa è che c'era parecchia cenere e, oltre a rovinare il gusto, ti sporcava le mani. Il personale è stato cordiale e le pizze sono arrivate velocemente. Gli ingredienti sono ottimi e freschi. Il locale è molto spazioso e i bagni puliti. I prezzi sono nella media, lo consigliamo. Ci ritorneremo.

20/06/2025: Dopo anni di frequentazione più o meno positiva, da quando si sono trasferiti è tutto peggiorato, dalla qualità delle pizze, delle materie prime, fino alla maleducazione e menefreghismo dei camerieri. Abbiamo scelto una bottiglia di vino, pagata 18 euro, ( non c'era di meglio) recensita su vari siti max 4,50, e infatti quello era il valore. Cantina sfornita, frigo "tiepido" e cameriera che apre malamente e lascia la bottiglia senza nemmeno chiedere se volevamo assaggiare per valutare. Pizze di gomma, prosciutto non ben identificato, ma la perla sono stati i cannoli siciliani: stantii, mollicci, con un mucchietto di ricotta di colore sospetto. Quando vi avanzano due cannoli da giorni, BUTTATELI. La supervisione deve essere necessariamente passata dagli storici titolari, ( che andavano e venivano dalla cucina sostenuti da deambulatori...) a qualcuno che sfruttando antiche glorie ha tagliato le spese per offrire un prodotto e un servizio pessimi. Everything is taken care of in the smallest details, fresh and carefully selected ingredients, careful preparation, respected spaces. Old-fashioned atmosphere without winks to fashion. 09/06/2025: Located directly on the Lungomare di Ostia, inside a beach resort, La Bussola presents itself as one of those places that focus on a simple but well-targeted formula: seafood, breathtaking views and a holiday atmosphere even just a stone's throw from Rome. The restaurant's strong point is undoubtedly the location. The outdoor tables overlook the beach and, especially at sunset, the atmosphere is priceless. Whether it's a relaxed lunch or a romantic dinner, dining with the sound of the waves in the background offers a pleasant and relaxing sensory experience. The cuisine mainly offers fish-based dishes, with a varied menu that ranges from raw and cooked appetizers to grilled or stewed second courses. The mussels alla marinara, often recommended by the staff, are very tasty and plentiful. Among the first courses, the spaghetti with clams and the risotto with scampi cream are among the most ordered, even if they are not always perfect: on some occasions the dish can be slightly salty or with the presence of sand, perhaps a sign of a not always constant control over the raw material. The service is polite but can be inconsistent, especially on very busy summer days: it happens that you have to wait a long time between one course and the next, or that some detail escapes the staff. However, the kindness of the staff, in general, manages to compensate for some small flaws. The prices are medium-high: you also pay for the location. For a complete meal (appetizer, first course, second course, wine and dessert) you can easily get to 50-60 euros per person, but if you choose carefully the bill remains reasonable. Also noteworthy is the availability of fresh fruit served in a scenic manner, perfect for ending the meal in summer style. In conclusion, La Bussola is a place to choose when you want to experience a lunch or dinner that has the flavor of the sea, not only on the plate but also in the air. If you are looking for technical perfection in the kitchen you might be slightly disappointed, but if you are looking for atmosphere, relaxation and good company in front of a nice fried food and a glass of chilled white, then you are in the right place.

13/07/2025: They seemed like a wonderful family: everyone was kind and welcoming, and the food was excellent! I tried the salt and pepper shrimp and the soba noodles with vegetables: truly delicious, even better than many other Chinese and Japanese restaurants I've been to. The only thing perhaps missing is a bit of an oriental atmosphere: the dining room is rather simple and doesn't convey that feeling of traveling to another country. Otherwise, I had a great time and will definitely be back!
