Birreria Pub Rhein & Meuse In Ferrara

Historic pub. The long, narrow interior is a bit cramped. Otherwise, the food and beer are good.

Located just outside the city on a side street off Via Bologna, it's one of Ferrara's historic pubs. Everything here has remained as it was in the old days: a beautiful English-style pub spread across two floors with a bar, tables, and wooden furniture. The atmosphere at Rhein & Meuse is welcoming and relaxed. The menu, including sandwiches, piadinas, burgers, and appetizers, is varied and of excellent quality. The beer list is also extensive. The staff is friendly and helpful. Rhein & Meuse is always a great choice.

With the new management ok, better than before

I visited this place a few months ago, recalling childhood memories, and I'm happy that nothing has changed, if not improved. The place has a traditional aesthetic, typical of a beer garden/burger joint. The staff wasn't very present during service, but they were friendly and helpful. We were satisfied with the food served, but not entirely: the flavor combinations of my sandwich were a bit unbalanced; the dish could definitely be improved, but the burger tasted excellent. I recommend it if you want to spend an evening in a welcoming atmosphere!

Happy with Anna's service yesterday, November 28, and Giulia's today, November 29. The place is nice and spacious. We've started coming back for evenings with friends, both for the staff, the parking, and the selection of food and beers. Thank you.

Went here a few weeks ago for a beer and a burger. Overall, a positive experience, with tasty burgers and sophisticated beers (it's a shame the prices are quite high). Helpful staff. Typical beer hall atmosphere with wooden tables, a shame. No board games.

Historic restaurant open late into the night. Top-notch food and beverage service.
