27/08/2025: Located right in front of the Basilica of Santa Maria degli Angeli. Very beautiful, especially in the evening. Good food, excellent starters, but I wasn't entirely impressed with the platters, especially the quantity. Cheese was nonexistent. Overall, above average. For a simple dinner, it's more than adequate.

16/08/2025: Ristorante Apollinare is a gem in the wonderful city of Spoleto. Impeccable and attentive service despite the (never intrusive) crowds on the August bank holiday. Excellent food with unconventional yet decidedly successful pairings. An excellent restaurant and highly recommended.

27/08/2025: I have been all over Europe and to Italy 5 times. Never have I had such a sublime meal as at Osteria Pozzo Della Mensa. The ravioli was amazing and the rolled pork wrapped in guanciale, lightly dusted with rock salt before plating, was bursting with flavor. You don’t want to miss out on this restaurant. VERY highly recommend!,

26/08/2025: I'll recount my less than happy experience. The super-kind and helpful staff were welcoming and prompt, and the restaurant is located on a small, secluded street, thus ensuring a certain degree of privacy at the outdoor tables. However, the food, unfortunately, is a real letdown: the quality/price ratio is embarrassing, to say the least. I found myself paying €18 for three lamb chops (which didn't even have much meat) on a bed of citrus fruit that was completely insubstantial and didn't match the meat at all. The desserts made up for it a bit, but again, they were mediocre and certainly not worthy of the price. I wouldn't recommend it for anyone looking for a pleasant evening in Assisi. I've attached photos of the dishes.

23/08/2025: While the food is decent (nothing better), the rest ruins everything. The atmosphere is cold and messy: LED lights, cold and warm pendant lights, no tablecloth, white paper napkins... basically, the opposite of what you'd expect from an Umbrian osteria. The service is a disaster. Some examples: welcome crostini served while we were eating our first course, cutlery not changed (the waitress took it off our plate and put it on the table), the table next to ours used as a storage area for piles of dirty plates cleared from other tables—absurd! The wine list is also a bit of a disaster if you're a wine lover. Despite the manager's friendliness, unfortunately, I can't really recommend it. Especially if you're looking for a nice, intimate place to eat and drink well. The bill isn't particularly high, at least, but I think you can find better in Assisi.

22/08/2025: COMMENT OUTBREAK In chronological order: Reservation only outside, with one table left unoccupied all night... When we arrived, our table (for 4) was located at the entrance of a building that immediately evokes a sense of uncertainty, prompting constant checks to make sure no neighbors are coming out... perhaps with their trash can ready to be unloaded. The uncertainty is also symbolized by the slope of the street (~60°), where they use a rudimentary pallet to level the table, essential to prevent water from spilling. The chairs were slanted, much to the delight of the sciatic nerve. So far, so good; now the disaster begins. The proposal seems genuine at first glance, and we are ready. The order is simple and direct, and I see the notebook with legible words. We also kindly ask for an ashtray. The cured meats appetizer arrives, spoiler alert --> the torta testo disappointed me, but not because of the quality; I wasn't familiar with it, so I'll leave that aside. The cured meats are modest, as is the price. Time passes, we're getting to know each other, there's no reason to argue, and for four entrees, the delay is starting to matter. 38 minutes after the cured meats, the entrees and the ashtray are missing. At the stroke of the hour, the service shows up with a blank notebook and empty hands. The order hasn't been sent, so we send everything back. 15 minutes later, the dishes arrive, honestly. The pasta isn't homemade, but the sauce is tasty. The house dessert is good, perhaps undercooked. My only two for the food seems punitive, but deserved due to the context. The bill isn't given at the table... and luckily, it forces me to stretch my legs. The bill doesn't get discounted. In my opinion, the bitters ordered after the mess were at least worth it. I'll pass and hang up.

17/08/2025: Truly an excellent restaurant in Bevagna, Umbrian but not only because the chef is Sicilian and makes delicious cannoli.

17/08/2025: We had lunch at the Delle Mura restaurant on the 15th of August, a scorching hot day. They had reserved an outdoor table for us, setting up two small, miserable fans that were supposed to "cool" all the tables... laughable, not to cry. Upon our request, they allowed us to move inside, where the situation improved only slightly, to a very small room with the only door open and no air conditioning. The food was barely adequate, and the service was absolutely unwelcoming, rude, and rushed. The icing on the cake was that one of the coffees tasted of soap; a piece of detergent had stuck to the inside of the cup. We politely pointed this out, and, kindly, they brought us another coffee, still with a stubborn attitude. Perhaps an apology would have been in order, as well as good manners. We do not recommend it. It's a shame, because the square is very charming and truly worth a visit.

16/08/2025: A beautiful corner of the woods, and inside this small, very well-maintained restaurant. Good food and competent service.

16/08/2025: We had dinner this evening, two adults and two children. The atmosphere was beautiful, with the outdoor tables under the pergola not too crowded. One of the children is the typical child who loves to explore, pet the animals (they have some somewhat shy cats), and gets excited by little, but I never saw a dirty look from the staff or a customer bothered by his wandering around the tables. We had a good and tasty pizza (the base is pre-cooked, so don't expect real pizza), spicy but not overly spicy chicken, tagliolini with truffle (truffle sauce), and a sliced steak. Two desserts and coffee with water, wine, and a beer came to just over €110. Peace reigns throughout this place, and you can feel it from the moment you arrive! A place to return to if you're passing through Assisi!

13/08/2025: A huge and well-organized restaurant for groups and families with children, with a playground adjacent to the tables to let off steam while waiting for their food, avoiding grumbling, nagging, and tantrums. That alone would be worth a full 5 stars. Excellent and varied appetizers, good pizzas, although we had to ask twice for the baby version (which should have arrived with the others) (a likely, and forgivable, oversight by the kitchen). Plenty of parking nearby. Average prices.

22/08/2025: Excellent tagliatelle with truffle, impeccable service, a sweet welcome and lots and lots of relaxation.

06/08/2025: We found this place by chance on the way to Todi. A lovely garden setting with outdoor seating. The food was good, but unpretentious. Attentive service and friendly waitresses eager to accommodate our requests!

10/07/2025: A chance discovery, and it was absolutely delicious! The kids thought it was the best pasta they'd ever had. A wide selection of dishes, incredibly affordable for us tourists compared to restaurants in surrounding towns. Everything was very fresh, and the service was excellent. I've been coming to Italy for 37 years, and I had the best panna cotta I've ever had here. We'll definitely be back.

03/08/2025: Five of us went to the theater festival from Spain and arrived very late. They were just closing, yet they were so kind to serve us with a smile. The food was so good and the service was so pleasant that we decided to come back a few days ago. We made them wait again due to work, and even though the kitchen closed at 2:00 PM, they continued serving us until 3:00 PM. Even when they had to close, they asked us if we wanted coffee. It felt like home. You can tell the high quality of the ingredients and the excellent cuisine. Thanks to the waiters, cooks, and boss. You're amazing, keep it up! We hope to come back soon. Hugs from Spain!!

23/02/2025: Great restaurant. Fair price quality and excellent choice of wines. Spoleto-style Strongozzi one of my favorite dishes.

13/08/2025: Below average. Nothing special. The food was good, but I've had better. I'd leave the service alone. I have to set the table, go get my own food.... First courses here, second courses there. If I want to top it off with desserts, coffee, or liqueurs, I have to queue up again, hoping to be served within the next 20 minutes. AN EXPERIENCE NOT TO BE REPEATED! A word of advice... If you want to handle more customers, hire more people! Otherwise, forget it. It'll just create confusion.

12/08/2025: We went here for a couples dinner. It was a very unique experience, as there's no table service, but they're very well organized. Very good value. Two appetizers, a first course, a second course, two side dishes, two waters, wine, dessert, and coffee cost €60. The food was all good. They don't take reservations; I recommend coming when they open, otherwise the wait might be long.
