15/11/2025: Intrigued by the reviews we read, we booked at Botteguccia, which was just a few meters from our hotel. I can only confirm what others have written. As soon as you enter, you'll be in the hands of host Stefano, who will immediately immerse you in the atmosphere of the place. I recommend not glancing at the menu from the reviews, but rather going there and waiting for all the delicious dishes the girls will bring you, you'll be amazed every time. Everything is delicious, from the appetizers to the meat, from the first courses to the desserts! DON'T MISS IT, GO, GO, GO, IT'S WORTH IT!! From the table of crazy people.

07/10/2025: A beautiful, quaint restaurant with a lovely red room and—a few steps down—a sort of cellar room. Several signs point the way from the old town entrance to the restaurant. The service is polite and friendly. While serving the "Tagliere," she briefly explained all the sausages, hams, and cheeses to us. The cuisine is quite upscale, and the food is very tasty, which is why the prices are absolutely justified. The only thing I personally didn't quite like was the tiramisu. I completely missed the taste of coffee. It's part of the experience, though, especially since it's supposed to wake you up; hence—I think—the name: "Pull me up," meaning "wake me up." It also consisted mainly of mascarpone. There were maybe a few pavesini on top. I've heard of it with the savoiardi (spoon biscuits), but they're solid from top to bottom. That way, at least they have some bite. But below the Pavesini (or whatever) there was just a "mascarpone lake." Certainly not bad, but not particularly appealing in terms of taste. But as I said: a matter of taste. Having been there five times already, I can highly recommend it. In 2019, for example, I had the melted cheese with truffle – without honey upon request; then the pappardelle al cinghiale; or the simple lentil soup. This time we had the tagliere, the pasta with capra, and each of the duck breast and beef, I think. In 2019, we had an appetizer that was extremely complex; hence the numerous photos. Very interesting back then was this kind of meatloaf with balsamic vinegar; but half as thick as in Germany. It tasted much more refined, though. The house wine was also surprisingly good: only €8 a liter back then. By the way: the pool was, of course, very clean. Parking is convenient and free in front of the circular square in front of the pedestrian bridge over the Nera River. It's great that this restaurant exists: highly recommended, as it combines typical Umbrian cuisine with high quality.

24/10/2025: A very beautiful and characteristic restaurant in the historic center of Trevi. The food is truly exquisite with a menu to match. The service was top-notch, both in terms of advice before ordering and throughout the meal. We really enjoyed our meal, and since we don't live too far away, we'll definitely be back.

01/11/2025: We simply left because they told us there were no free seats. The lady at the front desk was very rude. She was insolent and annoyed by customers who actually wanted to spend money. There were free seats on the terrace and inside. They just didn't want to! So much for friendly catering.

27/10/2025: I had dinner with a friend. The place is truly charming, with typical Assisi architecture. The staff was super friendly. Service was quick. We both had tagliatelle with mushrooms and truffles and with truffles. It's a shame that both pastas lacked salt. Otherwise, everything was fine.

19/09/2025: Amazing pizza!!! Available at lunchtime! What a wonderful place to enjoy a leisurely lunch ( and I’m sure dinner) The pici with mussels was outstanding and the pizza was one of the best in the area. . Ask for the house made hot pepper oil . Will return.

16/10/2025: Dinner walk-in, creative menu presentation-look like tarot cards in a case with each dish and description featured. Had the flavorful stuffed squash blossoms and tagliatelle with asparagus, with 1/2 liter of wine. Service was bustling and excellent, all tables served by the owner and staff member. I always forget to go to the cash register when finished vs payment machine brought to the table. Have to add the interior neon lighting was annoying.

15/10/2025: Beautiful, slightly unusual place: The table, chairs, and glasses are all different in color, shape, and material. The menu is a tarot deck, with each card describing the dish on one side and a caricature of it on the other. The business card is a 1000-lire banknote. We shared a platter for two; it was plentiful, varied, and delicious. We also tried the parmigiana, which was very good, as was the house wine. Very cheap.

Good food, excellent starters, but I wasn't entirely impressed with the platters, especially the quantity. Cheese was nonexistent. Overall, above average. For a simple dinner, it's more than adequate.

21/09/2025: The atmosphere is that of a backyard, where you'll find the same faces even if you're just passing by. The service is appropriate, friendly, relaxed, and unfussy. The quality of the food is appropriate for the setting, and the price is too. It's definitely worth a stop.
