21/07/2025: We were looking for a small restaurant a little outside of town and found it: Le Delizie del Borgo, located in Silvestri Park near the two city gates and the city walls, offers regional delicacies. We had delicious gnocchi al ragu, pasta al coniglio e con olive, tagliata di manzo, and a very good vino bianco from Montefalco! To finish, we had a dolce with apricot soufflé and wild berry sauce and two coffees! The food was excellent, the service very friendly, and the place quiet! The value for money was very good!

28/06/2025: Kind and friendly owner. Pet friendly restaurant. Romantic atmosphere. Pleasant evening, but don't think of eating typical Umbrian things, it has a contaminated menu, but tasty!

21/08/2025: We chose it for the excellent reviews and it was a very good choice!! A quaint place and an atmosphere that makes you say wow, how beautiful!! Excellent quality food, with a fabulous tartare and carpaccio for starters. For main courses, gnocchi with truffle and gnocchi with goose ragù!! Very good!! The staff were very kind and always available and the place was spotless. We had a great time!!

21/08/2025: On our way to Lake Trasimeno, we stopped in Spello and chose this restaurant for lunch. A truly sublime experience with excellent dishes! A beautiful restaurant right in the center, and an owner who makes you feel right at home. If you're in Spello or nearby, this is the place to eat!

29/07/2025: Giving one star is too much. The welcome was snobbish. THAT blonde at the cash register told THE ONE serving the tables, "Sit these two down." Who do you think you are??? Arrogant and rude. We left without even ordering anything.

27/07/2025: The food was mostly good, but I wouldn't recommend coming with Smartbox: different treatment, tiny portions, and a surcharge on truffle dishes. The owner's explanation was, "Since the restaurant's revenue from Smartbox is low, the portions are small." It's unfair that the customer is the one who loses out.

09/08/2025: The place is very charming, and as I walked by, it immediately caught my attention. We decided to have lunch here and were truly satisfied. The staff is friendly and attentive. For appetizers, we had the fried pizza with burrata and prosciutto, which was truly delicious. For our main course, we opted for the pici with Tuscan sauce, which was also delicious! I was disappointed not to be able to finish my dish because it was so tasty, but unfortunately, I was full. Recommended!

20/08/2025: Spoleto 2025. We stopped at this very nice, characteristic little restaurant. Welcoming atmosphere. Friendly restaurateurs. But we were disappointed with the meal. A portion of Spoletina and an appetizer from Spagnolo with two glasses of wine €40.00. The price is excessive compared to the quantity of food. The portion of pasta was minimal and the appetizer... according to the menu description, it was local cold cuts and cheeses with bruschetta and house specialties. So, one wedge of cheese, two bruschettas, two very thin slices of salami, two of ham and two of other cured meats. The house specialty was a small piece of frittata. Disappointed. We won't be returning. Other places of the same type offered better.

17/08/2025: We had a wonderful Ferragosto day in Gubbio. The restaurant was beautifully decorated and welcoming, and the staff were lovely! I highly recommend visiting; the dishes were delicious. Excellent experience.

15/08/2025: The welcome was sketchy. The food descriptions were unclear. A bit expensive for what was offered, both in terms of quality and quantity. Water in a carafe (served in an open bottle) cost €2.50, the same as a sealed bottle. The drying rack is fine for two if you just want to sample something; the cheese selection is very limited compared to the cured meats.

31/08/2025: A pleasant discovery! We found it by chance, it inspired us, and we stopped in without a reservation. The staff were super friendly, the food was excellent, including vegetarian options, and the prices were reasonable. We'll definitely be back!

29/06/2025: Osteria in the historic center of Bevagna, with a characteristic internal room and outdoor tables. Family-run with genuine cuisine and top-quality raw materials. All the staff are welcoming, kind, friendly and helpful, they made us feel at home. Very positive experience.

13/08/2025: We've been regular customers since 2018, but this latest experience has forced us to end our relationship with this place. The reason is very simple: the prices are not at all clear, and in our case, we were charged a different price than the others. Since we were at a table near the register, it wasn't difficult to understand the prices applied to previous customers, and for the same amount of food, we paid more. Furthermore, the menu is confusing, sometimes unexplained, and the quality has significantly declined over the years. The host, Stefano, presents himself as a friendly person, but his only goal is to make money! When a restaurant goes in this direction, forgetting about people, it loses its primary objective: providing service. Disappointed, because money is more valuable than relationships.

13/08/2025: Lunch featuring authentic local homemade cuisine, including warm ricotta, various cheeses, lentils, truffle frittata, potato and pepper salad, and a choice of two first courses. Unlimited wine and water. Friendly and fast service. Price for two people: €60...not exactly cheap, but acceptable.

21/07/2025: Consigliati da un albergatore locale, siamo stati a cena in questo ristorante spartano e molto classico. Senza fronzoli, menù ultra tradizionale, tagliatelle, ravioli, braciole, spiedini alla brace. Cucina della nonna ad un prezzo ormai quasi introvabile. Per gli amanti del genere, un posto ormai raro.

05/08/2025: Just steps from the Etruscan Arch, this very characteristic restaurant offers traditional Umbrian cuisine. They have a fixed-price menu with dishes that change daily and seasonally. The dishes are generously portioned and very flavorful. The atmosphere is clean. The kitchen is open. Fast service, and the staff are courteous and friendly. If you're passing through Perugia, stop by.

28/07/2025: Very good experience. Fixed menu, plenty of food per 1 serve. One downside is that every dish is very salty and a bit too greasy. The service was very ok, english speaking waiter. Restaurant is pretty low key, not very big yet spacious enough. I'll totally visit again when I'm back in Perugia ❤️

18/08/2025: We went here for dinner to celebrate my wife's birthday. We were the first guests at 7:30 PM, but as the evening progressed, the outdoor terrace filled up. What a fantastic location and what wonderful food. Despite the very friendly service, there were two minor drawbacks: - When ordering, we were told there were no pizzas, but they would be available tomorrow. - After ordering dessert, we were left waiting for the last dessert. Upon inquiring, it turned out they were out of stock. We ended up ordering a different dessert.

21/08/2025: Dinner with daughter and grandchildren, perfect! Friendly and courteous welcome, spectacular dishes that even delighted the grandchildren, who are usually rather boring. The little one said he'd never tasted such a good tiramisu, and the girls wolfed down their plates! Strangozzi and ravioli, then veal and baked potatoes. Excellent desserts and absolutely reasonable price. Congratulations!

From the wine to the wonderful fresh truffle pasta dishes, from the antipasti to the lake fish, here you'll discover the full power of Umbrian cuisine. Special thanks for the attentive, meticulous, and above all, friendly service. The tartare is highly recommended!

08/08/2025: We stopped for dinner, and it seemed like they'd forgotten about us. Finally, we ordered mezze maniche with zucchini, onions, and saffron. The dish was terrible, as the dressing was minimal, completely bland, and lacking in oil. I also found dry zucchini and chunks of onion, unchopped and as tough as a shoe. It looked like onion scraps. We also had to send back a large salad with arugula, red lettuce, and very little pecorino cheese because they brought it already dressed with oil and vinegar without asking, and my wife is intolerant to vinegar. This is the first time I've seen a large salad served with dressing instead of the dressings on the side. Perhaps they're worried about using too much oil.

06/08/2025: The somewhat small atmosphere and limited space don't detract from the kindness of the staff and the excellent flavor of the dishes served. The pasta with wild boar ragù is worth the evening. I'll be back as soon as I have the chance!

09/08/2025: After months of waiting, Giorgione finally met all my expectations! All my expectations were met. The restaurant is rustic and very welcoming, close to the historic center of Montefalco, which I always recommend. The appetizer buffet is incredible and limitless. Cold cuts, cheeses, olives, various salads, exceptional carpaccio, and so many other delicious treats that it's impossible to list. Two first courses and two surprising second courses, each one different, with generous but not overwhelming portions. A trio of desserts to finish. Nice wine selection, not overly extensive but full of gems like the Montefalco DOC or the Sagrantino (be careful with the ABV, they're both strong!) The staff are friendly and helpful, and the icing on the cake... Giorgione, who shows up halfway through the meal and greets every table, makes everything even more authentic. The price is excellent for what they offer, €38 excluding drinks. Even though the wait is long, it's an experience worth trying; it's worth the wait.

09/08/2025: Very welcoming restaurant, they serve 2 first courses followed by two second courses with an unimaginable vastness of side dishes and appetizers buffet to then finish with a trio of desserts and all cooked with local products!! Truly everything very very good!! 🤩 and for those who want at the end of the evening there is Mr Giorgio (Giorgione) who is available for a beautiful photo to remember the wonderful experience
