09/06/2025: One word is enough....excellent! The restaurant is very nice, the waitress works diligently and discreetly and always has time to exchange words with the customers. The dishes are exquisite and tasteful. The owner, the chef in person cooks spectacular food. What I ate was a pleasure for the palate! Go ahead and try it. We were there in person June 2025 - Regina and Enrico from Salzburg.

03/06/2025: Excellent restaurant in a small village Cannara, refined cuisine, remarkable and of great quality! The chef very nice and above all very good! His cuisine makes the difference!!! I understand why they are in the Michelin guide well deserved! In the room there is a beautiful atmosphere between art deco furniture and jazz music, the lady who served us very kind and very available to my every request. Highly recommended if you want to have a high quality experience! We will be back!

07/07/2025: Great quality, modern rooms, and the hotel was extremely accommodating. We missed our train and got there 2hrs past their scheduled late check in time, and they waited there for us.

28/06/2025: Kind and friendly owner. Pet friendly restaurant. Romantic atmosphere. Pleasant evening, but don't think of eating typical Umbrian things, it has a contaminated menu, but tasty!

04/07/2025: Ristorante con una location molto particolare nel centro di Spoleto. Personalmente mi sono recata in questo ristorante avendo letto che erano presenti svariate opzioni vegane e vegetariane. Forse avevo aspettative troppo alte che non sono state soddisfatte però nel complesso piatti un po’ miseri per i prezzi richiesti e gusti non molto spiccati, mi sono alzata con ancora la fame. Tuttavia è un ristorante carino se si vuole sperimentare qualcosa al di fuori della tipica cucina spoletina.

12/07/2025: A fixed menu of 14-15 courses, not always full plates but rather tastings, based on typical local products or preparations. The order of dishes at the table doesn't follow the traditional first course, second course, and side dish order. In fact, dinner (in my case, in the 10 years I've been eating at Botteguccia, it's always dinner only) concludes with a final course of pappardelle, strangozzi, or fettuccine with truffle. It can be confusing, but it's the house's choice, and it's good to know this before sitting down. The individual dishes change frequently. In my visits over the years, I've found the cream of chickpeas or cannellini beans with truffle, the final pasta with truffle, the lentils with three herbs, the goose pâté with crostoni, and the roasted meats (be it pancetta, sausage, or steak) to be superb. The warm ricotta with olive oil (and bread) is always delicious (and always a favorite starting point). It's a shame that in 2025 their tiramisu is no longer on the dessert menu: it was exquisite. The price has been increased this year, but it's in line with the offerings, quantity, and quality. It's worth noting that the final bill is lower if you skip the truffle pasta at the end of the meal. My bill included pasta (and it couldn't have been otherwise).

01/07/2025: Ristorante sulle colline umbre, posto molto bello. Cibo buono, ottimo il risotto limone e tartufo, anche la scelta della pizza… unico neo servizio lento… 2 volte su 2. Ma se non si ha fretta, soprattutto in estate dove si mangia fuori, si può aspettare bene

25/06/2025: At dinner with friends we tried appetizers and main courses as appetizers, traditional first courses and a good variety of desserts. Everything was perfect. Even the wine. Helpful and friendly staff. Typical well-kept environment. Fair parking possibilities. Average price. Recommended.

23/06/2025: Finding myself in Assisi for a pilgrimage I booked after reading the reviews and I must say I was not disappointed, we had a tasting of cured meats and cheeses, mezze maniche with white Chianina ragù, pigeon with vegetables and bruschetta with crostino, red wine donuts with passito. The quality of the products is truly excellent, the staff is kind, attentive and helpful. Definitely worth returning

17/07/2025: For €18 per person, we received a culinary feast! Pizza for starter, two large plates of delicious pasta, roast pork ribs and sausage with a side salad and fresh bread, dessert and a digestivo. Everything was cooked to perfection. The staff were very attentive and friendly. Would absolutely recommend to anyone willing to be surprised by the local cuisine.

17/07/2025: A very nice place with home-cooked regional food. You won't leave hungry – an appetizer, three courses, and dessert for just 18 euros, with drinks included. The menu is fixed and changes daily. The restaurant is very popular, so I recommend making a reservation.

27/06/2025: A very small and characteristic place where you can have lunch at a reasonable cost. Spello is practically a pedestrian island and the parking lots are "outside the walls" so the tavern is not easily accessible to disabled people. If the place is small the service(s) is even smaller. The food served is good with an excellent quality/price ratio.
