11/07/2025: While organizing a motorbike tour with friends, I booked a table at this restaurant where I had already been. It was perfect. The guys complimented me on how we were "pampered." I pass on the compliments to the managers. Thank you.

01/06/2025: Kind service that understands when the kitchen creates embarrassment and should change profession. I'm really sorry, but if I went to the kitchen I would eat better. They brought us a meat that had gone bad, it smelled, kindly replaced with another cut and didn't charge for it. Too bad that, despite the kindness of the service, even the second meat was salty, the potatoes old and dry, ditto the shank, the artichokes boiled and tasteless, the gnocchi were opened from a bag and put in the sauce, the pizza offered dry, old and reheated. In short, we must have been unlucky or the chef was sick, but we ate very badly. It's no coincidence that the place was half empty. On the way out I had to get a sandwich because I was hungry. The place is then abandoned to itself outside tables with bird poop. Too bad because it has a wonderful view.

29/08/2025: Had lunch on the way back from Assisi. Clean and welcoming place. The staff is friendly and courteous. The food is excellent.

27/08/2025: I'm only rating the rooms because I didn't use the restaurant. I gave the service a 4 because the breakfast is only sweet. Overall, everything is fine; I recommend it.

02/07/2025: Beautiful hotel in Umbertide, near Montone, a town that is definitely worth a visit. I used the hotel services with swimming pool, not those of the restaurant which I therefore do not review. The place is truly wonderful. A large well-kept garden and an old restored mill. Classic elegance in the furnishings. The swimming pool is beautiful but not very well-kept: I found it quite dirty, with insects and leaves. It would really only take someone to do a little daily cleaning with a net. The breakfast is very good (I would recommend putting a label on the cakes to understand what they contain) and the rooms are spacious and clean. The only flaw for me was the staff not being very "communicative". It's fine to be discreet but the guy I met several times at the reception struggles even to say hello or to detach himself from the PC for a moment to listen to a request. Obviously it's nothing serious, just a tip to improve!

23/06/2025: Monday evening so quiet night, hence score on atmosphere, not a criticism. Food was really excellent, well presented & tasty. It is definitely lives up to fine dining experience.

03/05/2025: Elegant, refined and wonderful restaurant; unique and beautiful location, the Roman excavations are the setting; excellent gourmet cuisine, selected and refined dishes offered in delicious dishes; cuisine aimed at gourmets with a refined palate. Compliments to the chef. Avoid going in if you think of "restaurant food". Quality does not go together with quantity. Impeccable service with great availability of proposed waters and wines. Also very good by the glass. The price is right for the location and quality service offered. Amazing cellar with excellent selection of wines. I repeat recommended only for connoisseurs.

18/04/2025: Almuerzo el martes de abril. Cappeletti bien hecho en caldo, un excelente filete localmente ptoducido con papas asadas y luego tiramisú. Muy bueno y de precio modesto. Tienen una impresionante selección de vinos de Umbría. Muy recomendable.

24/08/2025: The restaurant has been in business for over seventy years, so it has a fair amount of experience. The terrace where we ate has a charming, old-world feel, and the view is that of the Umbrian hills. It's clean (tablecloth, glasses, cutlery, etc. are fine). The restroom is small but clean, but not accessible to all physically challenged guests. The table service was satisfactory. Appetizers: cheeses (but only a semblance!) and cured meats. The quantity was a bit limited. The first course: tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms. The dish was plentiful, but I wasn't satisfied with the type of pasta. Second course: grilled trout, excellent. Drinks: water and 1/4 cup house wine. Overall, I rate it as a good restaurant. The quality/price ratio is a bit above average.

24/08/2025: Great pasta and meat at the old city of Todi, overlooking a fabulous view of the valley. Fresh pasta, great sauces, good service. Highly recommended.

20/08/2025: I just went there for my birthday. The staff was very friendly. The food was very good and the portions were generous. The only flaw was the pici with ragù, which were almost raw. Otherwise, everything was excellent. We'll definitely be back.

Thank you Monica and Mariano, you pampered us, filling us with spectacular local food, all fresh and authentic, with super generous portions, so much so that we almost couldn't get up from the table. Thanks again and keep up the good work.

06/07/2025: Pizzeria, restaurant, grill. Good meats and cheeses. Good arrosticini. Neat and clean environment. Too bad it faces the road and is a bit noisy. Prices in line. (8 arrosticini 11€, salad 5€, appetizer of meats and cheeses 9.5€)

06/08/2025: Restaurants complain that they can't find the staff, that the kids don't want to work!!! But when you find the kids who are willing, you treat them badly, you yell at them, you humiliate them... you should just be ashamed of yourself.

05/08/2025: The one-star reduction is due to a delay in service, an unfortunate circumstance for which the staff apologized. We tried the pasta dishes (passatelli, bucatini, tagliatelle), which were good and substantial. Both the side dish and dessert were delicious.
