24/05/2025: Siamo capitati per caso in questo locale durante una visita a Spoleto. Abbiamo chiesto se avessero anche l’opzione senza glutine e abbiamo deciso di provare. E’ stata un’esperienza eccellente. A parte il cicorino e la costata ai ferri buonissimi , abbiamo mangiato dei carciofi a dir poco STREPITOSI. Quando siamo usciti non abbiamo resistito a incoraggiare un gruppo di avventori che erano un po’ titubanti. Lo consigliamo vivamente, ottimo rapporto qualità prezzo. 03/05/2025: Elegant, refined and wonderful restaurant; unique and beautiful location, the Roman excavations are the setting; excellent gourmet cuisine, selected and refined dishes offered in delicious dishes; cuisine aimed at gourmets with a refined palate. Compliments to the chef. Avoid going in if you think of "restaurant food". Quality does not go together with quantity. Impeccable service with great availability of proposed waters and wines. Also very good by the glass. The price is right for the location and quality service offered. Amazing cellar with excellent selection of wines. I repeat recommended only for connoisseurs.

To my regret, I must inform you that my complaints were made during and after dinner, at the time of the bill, about which I cannot say anything, we complained, and you yourself, in a black t-shirt and apron, began with THEY ARE LACKED OF STAFF, without even an apology. So I reassure you, I'm frustrated, nor am I hiding behind a screen. I wish you another 30 years, if more, of conspicuous activity. Negative reviews included.

Location located in the Town Hall square, friendly and fast staff. Excellent food and prices adequate for the quality of the product and service.
26/05/2025: Classic tourist place with excellent dishes, less so for the cold cuts served on a hot cutting board (meh).
Decent quality-price ratio.

10/03/2025: I have been frequenting this restaurant for years when I come to Gubbio to work at the Medieval Festival.
I have always been happy with both the dishes offered and the kindness of the staff.
This evening I propose potato gnocchi with white Chianina ragù and chicken fricco' (typical dish from Gubbio).
Excellent value for money.
Update to 2025: when I returned for dinner I found that the fresco in the upper room had been restored.

17/02/2025: In una bella sala siamo stati accolti con molto calore e professionalità da tutto il personale, in particolar modo da Riccardo sempre molto attento.
Piatti ben presentati e, soprattutto, molto buoni. Diversi piatti locali con il tartufo da padrone, ma non solo. Graditissimi gli assaggini offerti dalla casa. Prezzo assolutamente in linea con la qualità e cura dei piatti. Bravi!

19/05/2025: Good pizza, normal prices. My Neapolitan pizza was super topped with anchovies and oregano. The wine in bulk wasn't the best. I would go back anyway.
18/05/2025: The bruschetta came in different flavors, the raw ham with melon was great, the beer was cold, the wine list was good, everything was great!

11/05/2025: Mi sono recato in questo ristorante assieme alla mia fidanzata durante una gita a Spello. Il locale sorge lungo il corso principale del paese, a due passi dalla cattedrale ed offre sia posti all'interno che all'esterno. Le sale interne sono situate dentro un grottino che rendono l'atmosfera molto romantica, il tutto arredato in maniera raffinata e di classe. Consiglio vivamente di iniziare con un ottimo Antipasto di di Salumi misti, oppure con delle buona Tartare. Tra i primi assolutamente consigliati i Tagliolini in Crema di Asparagi oppure i Tortelli ripieni alla Carbonara. Come dessert eccezionale il Tiramisu'. Innaffiate il tutto con un ottimo Rose' di Sagrantino frizzante e passerete senza dubbio una fantastica esperienza. Prezzi decisamente sopra la media del posto ma come detto prima il locale e' di un livello di raffinatezza di molto superiore rispetto alle altre taverne turistiche vicine.

14/04/2025: A two-day trip to Assisi, a hotel with excellent hospitality, excellent room, service and location, very kind staff.
13/04/2025: The hotel is located in a very central position and very well connected to the historic center of the town. We were thrilled with the dinner as the meat served was excellent, along with the very generous side dishes and starters. The breakfast needs to be reviewed, limited in choices and little if anything salty. The bathroom in the room was small, in fact the toilet was located in the shower area, creating a bit of discomfort. Very kind staff.
