Locale accogliente e molto curato. Prezzi nella media. Consigliato.

Friendly staff, really good food and excellent location in the centre.
We ate typical dishes from a pre-made choice menu at an honest price.
The only flaw is that being seated near the door there were frequent blasts of cold air, but it wasn't a big problem.

We had tried to book for lunch in the NorcinVineria next door, only to discover that they are under the same management who, very kindly and having only seats outside (on a cold day in December anyway) offered us (Having 4 children with us) to eat in the nearby Dolcis in fundo restaurant, still choosing an informal menu as we would have liked to do, made of excellent local Crescia, cold cuts, cheeses, vegetables. In short, excellent food, beautiful place with elegant and very Christmassy decor (with beautiful tuneful music in the background) and very kind owner (a girl from Castiglione sul Trasimeno, now in Gubbio for 8 years and with 2 splendid little girls). A pleasant surprise!

I stopped by this restaurant by chance. Welcomed with courtesy, I appreciated the kindness of the staff and the clean environment in a very nice restaurant.
The appetizer with egg and truffle is excellent.
The first one satisfied me less. The truffle pasta dish was too salty and with a base that was too persistent and creamy and which in my opinion covered too much of the flavor for which I had ordered it, the truffle.
The choice of wines is remarkable.

Courtesy and quality are part of this place. We stopped because we had seen the possibility of menus that give you the opportunity to taste more things without getting too full and spending a fortune:
€24 x mixed starter (typical products), strozzapreti with wild boar ragout and Tozzetti with vin santo
or €28 for umbrichelli with pecorino and pepper bacon and loin with porcini mushrooms plus Tozzetti with vin santo.
Everything really EXCELLENT!
Congratulations to you who offer typical menus at an affordable price and excellent quality.
They have a few tables outside. Dogs are welcome.

Clean, classy environment, with quality food and excellent à la carte menus. They range from €19 for a starter with crescia, first course and vin santo with cantucci, up to a menu of €30. A la carte menu is also possible. It is located in the historic center, which allows an even more valuable insight into the life of Gubbio.

Servizio cortese ma non invadente
L'unico appunto, se posso..., toglierei il pesto di rucola dai ravioli di chianina (che sono meravigliosi) basterebbe un burro nocciola e parmigiano.

Very pleasant location at the base of the main walking street. We had the menu of the day with various salami and cheese for a first course, followed by a lovely pasta cingale. Dessert was macaroons and an eau de vie. Attentive staff and a good wine list. Recommended.
