Excellent lunch. Typical local dishes offered at an excellent price. Very beautiful and characteristic location. The staff was friendly and helpful. I would gladly return.

Excellent welcome and rustic and refined atmosphere, courteous staff but above all good food

Passing through Spello and attracted by the location, we decided to stop for dinner. First of all, there were no problems for our four-legged friends, and the staff was efficient and friendly, especially Desiree, who pampered us all evening. Being a vegetarian, I found the dishes good, but their strong point is definitely meat. Wide selection of wines. Not exactly cheap, but considering the location and the history of the place, it's worth it.

Excellent service Exceptional food quality

Our experience was a bit of a mixed bag: the place is truly beautiful, historic, and beautifully decorated with that old-world warmth that warms you, especially on a winter's day. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we were lucky and they quickly set us up with a table. As for the food, we had a very good carpaccio appetizer; the meat was fresh and flavorful. As for the pappardelle with wild boar sauce, the pasta was very good, definitely fresh, but I found the sauce almost tasteless, as if it had been diluted too much: it lacked the bold flavor I expected from a wild boar ragù or any other ragù. The desserts were very good. As for the staff, we found some of the waitresses to be really kind and genuine, while the person who showed us to our table was perhaps not having her best day. I would probably return for the ambiance and perhaps try other dishes, but I can't say I left as enthusiastic as I expected.
