Excellent dinner in a traditional trattoria in the heart of the historic center. We loved the crostini and taglierini with truffles, which were delicious and the portions generous. The service was attentive and precise, and the staff was friendly and helpful. Good value for money. Recommended for a traditional dinner in Città di Castello.

A more than positive dining experience. The only flaw was that they put the steak back on the grill after it was cooked, which gave it a "livery" flavor. The menu's variety and traditional cuisine are complemented by a good wine list. Definitely recommended.

Highly recommended. Good food. We had dinner with a large group last night and everyone was satisfied and happy. The dinner was plentiful with a variety of dishes, some of which were truly delicious, like the truffle gnocchi, not overpowered by chemical flavorings but rather with truffles freshly grated on the plate, and the excellent homemade agnolotti with ragù.
The entire menu came to €35, which I think is a very fair price. The interior is truly charming, and the staff is helpful and welcoming.
Our thanks go to them and to anyone who reads the good advice. ;-)

We dined here based on the reviews, and this time we weren't disappointed—quite the opposite! We're in the homeland of truffles, so we took advantage of it and had a truffle-based dinner. Bruschetta, gnocchi, and tagliatelle. Everything was delicious, to say the least! The location is very well-maintained and right in the center. Excellent service! Finally, the bill was definitely reasonable for the quality of what we ate, and they even offer the liqueurs! A delightful discovery!

If you want to experience Authentic Umbria flavours this is the place. Trattoria is operating since the 80s. It is my place to go whenever I am in Citta di Castello. Visited x16 times. I highly recommend chef special Trippa(Tripe). Grilled meat is good including Lamb, veal, beef steaks. Restaurant also specialise in truffles. White truffle tagliatelle is fantastic.
