24/08/2025: My wife and I went to Montefalco for a romantic getaway. We had lunch at the inn and were speechless, so speechless that we had to go back for dinner. The quality of the food was impressive, the organization top-notch, and the staff and owner were exquisite and extremely kind. They showed us the cellars, which were beautiful and well-stocked. We tasted a 1983 Brunello di Montalcino, you can imagine. We'll definitely be back.

19/08/2025: A special place for special occasions. I went last night for dinner with my family. The off-menu tartares were delicious and seasoned with skill and personality (the chives were an original and tasty touch). The Bavarian cream with amaretto cream was exceptional. The service was perfect. The sommelier advised us with expertise, courtesy, friendliness, and honesty, and at the end of the dinner, he took us to the restaurant's wine cellar: an incredible sight. The prices are fair considering the exceptional setting. For four of us, for two dishes each (two of which were strangozzi with truffles—what truffles!), an excellent bottle of Rosso di Montefalco, three desserts, and the entrée (included in the cover charge) we spent €234. The place is beautiful both inside and out, where it truly feels like being in a theater.

29/08/2025: A place that creates culinary emotions and brings happiness to those who try it... Very good appetizers with local products, carefully composed and with the utmost attention to presentation. Authentic and expertly seasoned first courses, combining the simplicity of the raw ingredients with unexpected combinations. I had the opportunity to try the wild boar with caramelized onion (also homemade) and was blown away by its deliciousness... Probably the best wild boar in white wine I've ever eaten in a restaurant... Fantastic!!! The desserts are equally as delicious, completing an excellent gastronomic experience. The atmosphere is casual yet elegant, and the terrace offers a beautiful view of one of the many "pictures of Umbria" that can be enjoyed everywhere here! The wait staff is polite, knowledgeable, welcoming, and with an edge given their youth—well done! You're a great calling card for this place! The prices aren't cheap, but everything above justifies them... Photos below 😉

31/07/2025: Eccellente indirizzo a Montefalco: cucina di tradizione molto curata, bella location, ottime carni, servizio corretto. Tartufi e sagrantino protagonisti. Assolutamente consigliabile.

28/07/2025: Once in Montefalco, we decided to dine at this beautiful, high-quality restaurant. It's hard to find because it's on a street parallel to the main street, so you'll need to use your GPS navigation system to find the sign. We tried the recommended appetizer of oven-baked zucchini flowers, delicious. We then continued with tagliatelle with white veal ragù (super creamy and flavorful) and grilled lamb (excellently cooked and delicately flavored). The menu also includes dishes for non-meat eaters, including one of the most delicious dishes, recommended by the staff: pappardelle al Sagrentino. To top it all off, a fabulous ricotta and chocolate cake, magnificent. I highly recommend it.

20/08/2025: We returned to this restaurant by chance after a couple of years and found the same atmosphere and the same friendly, welcoming owner. The food was excellent, refined, and plentiful. Highly recommended!

20/08/2025: We searched and chose...it seemed like the right place, and it was! Nestled among the narrow streets of Città di Castello, with outdoor seating and a wealth of history. We were greeted very kindly by the owner's nephew. He's knowledgeable and recommended some very tasty dishes. The bruschetta with burrata and caramelized onions was excellent, as were the pici with orange, lemon, tuna, and almonds, and the desserts!

13/08/2025: I had the umbricelli with both goose sauce and Norcina sauce. Both were excellent and the portions generous. The atmosphere was rustic but pleasant and welcoming, and the service was also good, thanks to the friendly and helpful waiters.

23/08/2025: It was a crowded and therefore chaotic evening: our table was in the middle of the passage between two rooms, and busy waiters were rushing around. In the chaos, service suffered, and they brought our dishes without clearing the plates from the previous tables. The food was decent and plentiful.

07/08/2025: We had lunch here on August 6, 2025, while visiting Trevi. For us, this is already the discovery of the week. What a delicious meal! Our sincere compliments on the wonderful food. The waiters were super friendly and attentive. There's a wide selection of dishes and wines, and they use high-quality olive oil. Coincidentally, it was the one we were planning to have a tasting in the afternoon. We'll be back when we have time! Thank you!

09/07/2025: The kind of review that you don’t want to give because you don’t want to spoil the authenticity. There is a menu and it’s in Italian but you can order whichever, it’s delicious! They serve dishes from Umbria and wine to go along with. Staff are friendly and helpful. Enjoy if you have then chance!

22/08/2025: If you want to try dishes with good truffles, this is the ideal place. Naturally, the rest of the menu is also very interesting, with quality ingredients, carefully prepared and refined combinations. I recommend the pure veal tartare paired with truffle shavings: a simple dish, two ingredients but of excellent quality.

19/08/2025: The place is intimate, very charming, perfect for a lovely dinner for two. The wine list focuses on local produce, the quality ingredients are expertly prepared, and the cured meats are excellent! The service is friendly and impeccable, never intrusive. The quality/price ratio is excellent, because the food was truly delicious. If I ever find myself in Perugia again...I'll definitely be back!

09/07/2025: Very nice place, with attention to detail and cleanliness. The staff is friendly, and the food arrives promptly once you order. The food is very good and the portions are generous. We had a mixed antipasto and two grilled dishes, and the fries were excellent. I particularly enjoyed the truffle frittata as an appetizer. Everything was delicious. I gave the service 4 stars because I think they're understaffed, but overall I'd still give it 5 stars. I recommend it if you're in the area. Parking is a bit difficult if you're on a motorbike, as the parking lot isn't paved and is all gravel.

06/07/2025: Great food, good prices, but slow service. Appetizer brought right away, but then about 3/4 hour wait between other courses. Overall a very positive experience. Nice place, delicious food, and competent staff except for the wait.

08/08/2025: The service was terrible. We booked a table for 7:15 PM and were seated at 8:00 PM. We asked several times for someone to take our order. We didn't feel well cared for. The prices were on the higher side. The food was okay, but not amazing. The place was more for tourists, although it's not exactly a tourist trap. Edit: We did book for 7:30 PM and were seated at 8:00 PM. My mistake. I'll also share our experience with the reservation. We had booked a table outside for 7:30 PM. The reservation was confirmed. We arrived at 7:30 PM, but the lady was setting up the tables outside, so I told her I'd be back in 10 minutes. After 10 minutes, she continued setting up the tables, then setting them all, while we stood and watched as she set them for 20 minutes. We weren't allowed to sit down until all the tables were set. Instead of seating us and at least serving drinks, the restaurant decided we had to stand and watch as the waitress set each table one by one. A wonderful experience. For future reference: in such a situation, simply set one end table and continue setting after serving the guests, or at least after serving the drinks.

20/08/2025: The appetizer was very good, the staff were friendly, but out of six dishes, three weren't what we ordered, but we kept them anyway. Despite everything, when paying, he made sure to point out that what we'd received was still better than what we'd ordered (p.s. I wanted the pasta with brie fondue, so it doesn't matter if it wasn't as good). Overall, a pretty pleasant experience, with excellent bruschetta oil. The location is a bit unusual; in fact, the hotel advised us not to walk there.

16/08/2025: From the outside, you don't see the full potential of the restaurant, but once inside you are surprised by the welcome and the kindness of all the staff. The cuisine is simple and good from starter to dessert.
