28/02/2025: Excellent takeout pizza! I ordered a Margherita and a Diavola, both delicious. The crust is light and crispy, and even though it was takeout, it arrived hot and perfect.

26/02/2025: I had the pleasure of trying this pizza and can say without a doubt it was a fantastic experience. The crust was perfectly crispy yet perfectly soft, with an authentic flavor that immediately evoked tradition. The fresh, high-quality ingredients enhanced every bite, from the stringy mozzarella to the rich, delicate tomato sauce. The combination of toppings was balanced and well-crafted, making every piece irresistible. If you're a pizza lover, this is definitely a must-try. A true delight that will make you want to come back again and again!

15/06/2025: Tuvimos una cena maravillosa aquí en nuestra última noche en Florencia. No estoy seguro de por qué el restaurante era tranquilo, ya que era una de las mejores comidas de nuestro viaje! Teníamos el filete de Fiorentina que estaba perfectamente cocinado, y todos los demás platos que pedimos estaban deliciosos. Un ambiente mucho más relajado que el puesto avanzado de Dubai (el servicio seguía siendo excelente) y el restaurante tiene un hermoso interior con una vista sobre el río. Muy recomendable y sin duda volveremos cuando estemos en Florencia!

27/04/2025: Nourriture délicieuse tant sur le plan des solides que des liquides, cadre très agréable, musique de fond un peu forte ; au total , vaut le coup d autant plus que la carte des vins est on’e peut plus belle!!!

17/08/2025: A place steeped in history, in the center of Florence. Refined and tasteful decor. You can enjoy an aperitif and then move on to dinner. The cocktails are excellent, and the food is top-notch...experimental in its genre.

23/07/2025: We had a fantastic time at this pizza cooking class! David was a wonderful host—patient, knowledgeable, and took his time to show each of us how to make the dough and cook our pizzas properly. The oven they use is impressive, reaching around 1000°F, which bakes the pizzas in just 2–3 minutes! If I had one small suggestion, it would be to offer a few different sauce options and maybe a wider variety of toppings, as we’re used to something a bit different. That said, the overall experience was excellent, and the gelato at the end was absolutely phenomenal. Highly recommended!

21/07/2025: We came for the pizza and gelato making class and it was a 10/10. Our chef was very knowledgeable and helped us prepare our pizzas. Complementary wine, juice, and water. He let us make the chocolate gelato and it was delicious. The pizza making was super fun and he taught us how to make it at home. The pizza and pizza crust were excellent but make sure to add some salt so your pizza isn’t bland. (The sauce is mild and doesn’t have salt).

08/08/2025: ​A Perfect Florentine Experience ​Trattoria Cammillo is an absolute gem. Tucked away right by the river, it's the perfect spot for an intimate dinner with friends or a romantic evening with your partner. It's a classic, old-school restaurant with an old but incredibly talented staff who make the entire experience feel special. ​The food is simple but exquisite, serving up wonderful Tuscan dishes for true gourmands. My go-to is always the duck paired with a glass of Chianti, it's simply amazing! ​The atmosphere is what really sets this place apart. It's warm, inviting, and feels like a genuine taste of old Florence. This is a must-visit if you're in town.

27/07/2025: Got a table without a reservation. Food was amazing, staff was excellent and the vibes were good - even when being there solo. Strongly recommend, and do listen to the waiter’s recommendation! *price for three courses + wine

17/06/2025: Der gewünschte Wein wurde kurzerhand mit der Bemerkung „das ist der gleiche, wie gewünscht“ ersetzt. Auf unsere Nachfrage der Assemblage, konnte keine Erklärung gegeben werden. Unsere Bestellung der Tagloata landete auf dem Nachbarstisch, welcher nach Begutachtung mit dem Besteck festhielt, nicht die richtige Bestellung erhalten zu haben, worauf das Personal die Teller uns hinstellen wollten, was wir verweigerten. Die Teller verschwanden kurz in der Küche und kamen wiederum zu uns, was wir nicht akzeptierten. Danach erhielten wir neue Teller mit kaltem Fleisch. Auf unsere Intervention erhielten wir auf Wunsch eine neue Portion. Diese war sehr gut mit einem ander Fleischstück. Leider ohne Erklärung oder Entschuldigung. Wir lieben die italienische Küche, aber wir mögen es nicht, als dumme Turisten abgekanzelt zu werden. Schade, auch beim Verlassen des Lokals kein Wort des Chefs. Sie schwinen es nicht mehr nötig zu haben. Einzige Gutmachung 12 Euro Abzug auf der Rechnung.

23/05/2025: Locale alla vecchia maniera, casalingo e accogliente. Il menù è ovviamente tipicamente toscano e ma da vegetariana sono riuscita comunque a scegliere. La qualità è eccellente, le porzioni giuste. Antipasti a 8€ primi sui 15€ e secondi sui 18€. Rapporto qualita prezzo eccellente!!!

19/05/2025: Ho mangiato da sola in questo ristorante storico. AMBIENTE:Il locale è molto bello, che sa di antico. Due salette, tavoli spartani con tovagliette e personale gentissimo. CIBO:Non ho mangiato molto perché la loro proposta è diversa da quello che volevo io per cena. Oltre ai piatti nel menù c'erano anche piatti del giorno come il collo di anatra ripieno e le fave fresche con il pecorino. RAPPORTO QUALITA'/PREZZO: essendo in centro città mi sembra un costo ragionevole e non eccessivo Bellissimo locale e ottima la loro zuppa tipo ribollita

01/08/2025: Gorgeous location and fairly reasonable prices. During the week, there's hardly anyone there. The pizza and desserts are very good. The service, sometimes a bit slow and hesitant, could be improved, but despite this, the staff is very friendly, helpful, and accommodating.

31/07/2025: Everyone was a bit disappointed: the waiter didn't know what pizzas I was bringing, the drink practically arrived at the end of the dinner because it was remembered. The food was edible but certainly not good (the mozzarella wasn't mozzarella, it tasted like slices and the stracchino wasn't even well identified). The prices, for what we ate, were high. There were two fries and we paid five euros for them. We won't be returning.

03/07/2025: To think that Donatello used this place as his "office" is just impressive. The painting on the ceiling and walls are all original. Our waiter gave us a brief history of the place. Food was excellent. We even sang Happy Birthday to my future son in law there. It was great

06/07/2025: Mamma mia what a discovery! I forgot to review it! Simple atmosphere highly recommended for large tables, good menu! We were there a month ago, we brought some non-Tuscan friends who had a great time! Nice discovery!

05/07/2025: Avoid it if you can. Terrible organization, it is not acceptable to arrive for dinner at 8:45 and be served at 23:30. We asked for a bottle of wine, we were told that we could only take the house wine. Then the bottles of wine were served to the other tables. Embarrassing dishes… Despite the more than three hour delay, in a place where most people got up and left, we were given a €1.50 discount! Absolutely not to return

11/05/2025: Un ristorante che avevo frequentato altre volte. Cambiato tutto !! Persone diverse e maleducate, cibo insapore, mal presentato, con ritardi inspiegabili. Ordiniamo 2 primi uguali, il primo piatto arriva, del secondo non c'è traccia per almeno 30 minuti. Non l'abbiamo toccato e ci è stato fatto pagare lo stesso con modi arroganti, maleducati e minacciosi. Evitate questo posto, È diventato pessimo.

26/07/2025: tl;dr please do not come here, stay away!. Food was overpriced, and just not good compared to other restaurants we’ve had in Florence/Italy. What an utter disappointment and let down! We read online and found this place on a few lists and were so excited to have another great authentic meal in Florence. But, this place was anything but good. The butter and anchovies were ok but it basically comes ready made and needs to be plated. The porcini mushroom pasta was just awful. It didn’t have much mushroom taste and was a bit soggy. The fried chicken and zucchini flowers was not fried well and had a pretty overwhelming oily taste. The chicken was not even a whole part it was just various parts that range from a single drumette to bits of leg that didn’t even make a whole one. The chicken also had a certain taste that bordered on stale and was not fresh in our opinion. The Cacio e pepe was ok but we’ve definitely had better. I will not disagree with another reviewer who said it was really pretty bad. There was not much pepper taste and the pasta itself was way too al dente that it seemed undercooked. Really do yourself a favor, save your money, and don’t waste a meal here. It was so disappointing and such a let down. This is especially so after having had such a great meal at another Florentine institution, Sostanza. BE WARNED! STAY AWAY!

25/07/2025: Almost overlooked while searching for a restaurant. Very good food. Extremely friendly service. We commented on the excellent quality of the tortellini during the service and received a free plate. Where else in Italy can you experience something like that? A secret favorite!!! Highly recommended. We're thrilled.

17/07/2025: Ottimo ristorante immerso nelle campagne vicino Firenze. Atmosfera rilassante e piatti curati. La frittura è davvero eccellente. Servizio cordiale e prezzi giusti. Da provare!

13/07/2025: Too expensive for the quality of the food. I'm sorry about the risotto, but it was anything but a risotto; it was boiled rice with saffron, perhaps sautéed with meat. We only liked the baked potatoes, which were very good. A "risotto," a side dish, and a main course (porchetta + potatoes), with water, totaled €45.

12/07/2025: We felt a little out of place here, but the food was so good. I had the sage and butter ravioli and I wish I could eat it again! I forgot to take a picture before I started eating because I was so hungry haha!
