Amazing restaurant in Florence. Not a tourist place at all. Had a Florentine steak & pasta that was amazing. Staff was very nice & helpful as well.

Excellent Florentine atmosphere, exquisite food, tomato soup with sauce and mixed ribollita, sausage-shaped meatball with sauce, Cantuccini with vin santo.
The owner is a nice polite lady, the waiters are also kind and helpful.
The only thing they don't serve coffee is the historical custom of the place not to serve coffee at the end of meals, for the rest it's fine and I will gladly return

The food was fine, we liked the experience of sharing a big table with others. We didn't like the experience of paying, the waiter was insisting a few times service was not included (though they charge €3 pp for bread), so we felt obliged to pay a tip. Wouldn't go back again

This friendly restaurant served the best food that we've ever had in Florence. Perfect dinner for our last night in 10 days travel in Italy.
Must try Pappa al pomodoro! It was too good! Next time, I want to try ribollita.

La mia prima volta a Firenze, la prima bistecca fiorentina della vita. Avevo 10 anni. 45 anni fa. Sono riuscita a tornare solo oggi. Come tornare indietro nel tempo. Cibo ottimo. Atmosfera perfetta. Il prezzo era giusto. Perfetto coronamento per una visita alla mostra di kapoor a palazzo Strozzi.
